Our family had a wonderful week at Sally's place. It is hard to say which we enjoyed more; the gorgeous views and outdoor space or the cozy, beautifully appointed indoor space and the well equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook for the entire family. We could not have asked for a better getaway!

Heaven on Earth

This place is a true gem, and Sally was a perfect host throughout our stay. The views from the house of the rolling vineyards, and the mountains in the back were surreal and picturesque. The house is well stocked, and you can even get food/groceries delivered through your app. We highly recommend this place, and will certainly be visiting again in future!

Wonderful spot in wine country

Sally was the perfect host - there when you need her while still offering as much privacy as you want. The house was perfect - the view was stunning, it had everything you might need [kitchen, towels etc] pool was great and all ages had a fabulous time making new memories. San Diego Girfriends

Our girlfriends get together annually to meet at different places. This estate on 20 acres was beautiful! Everything we needed was in the home plus Sally made us a maple breakfast loaf one morning. We definitely plan on returning next year to go kayaking and visit a few more wineries closer to the VRBO

Fabulous Stay

Sally's house was great and she was a great host of me & my family, therefore I'm happy to provide an endorsement. First of all, the house offered a beautiful views and was well appointed w/ all of the items anyone might need. Everything was well kept, clean and in great shape. The listing photos of the outdoor space undersell it and especially the view. The pool and spa were also both really nice. Sally was also very communicative and accommodating. She was available but not obtrusive...just what you want in a host IMHO. I expect we'll be back.

Absolutely a beautiful view
well stocked home with everything and more that you might need. The owner is extremely easy to work with and she had fresh flowers and wine to welcome us. Our only complaint was we felt the house needed a more thorough cleaning

10 days of pure joy !!! Sally’s property is idyllic and she is the best host we’ve ever experienced !! We went to visit the vineyards, drive over to the coast and enjoy time with friends & family. What made the stay even more spectacular is her property - relaxing by the pool, dining under the pergola, playing lawn games, gazing up at the perfect night sky and taking in the golden hour sunsets. The property itself is in magnificent condition, striking that perfect balance between preserving the charm we fell in love with years ago while adding modern conveniences that enhance the stay.The home is incredibly user-friendly and comfortable, making it effortless to settle in and truly relax. Second year was even better than the first

Our second time back - the home was just as we remembered it. We never needed to leave. Everything you could ever want to cook with or relax outside with was already there. The house is so comfortable. The landscaping is perfection. Sally is wonderful. She responded right away when we had any questions and even left us a personalized welcome note with all the tips and tricks to make the home feel like ours. Walking into this home you immediately feel pure bliss. The thoughtful details are everywhere- from the fresh flowers to greet you, the fully stocked linen closet, games, tv room, guitar for the musically inclined and pool toys. The kitchen deserves its own category. It's stocked with any tool a cook could possibly need. It's in a great location, where you can take beautiful nature walks, and it's in walking distance to several wineries and a general store plus just a short drive to town. Sally is a wonderful and gracious host and is readily available for any questions.This was our third stay and hopefully not our last. We can't recommend this home enough.

A Happy 40th Anniversary Trip at Weed Farm

We arrived on May 30th and check in was easy. Two of the couples arrived a bit early and Sally was gracious to let us check in early.The house was well set up, we were treated by a Happy 40th Anniversary sign with Matijila Poppy paper flowers and 3 bottles of wine from her vineyard grapes.The view is spectacular, we walked every morning around the area and the vineyards. There are 4 wineries within walking distance and a general store close by for coffee, baked goods and other sundry items and small bar.Sally was very responsive but was very specific that our privacy was important.We had some pool and hot tub issues and she dealt with them quickly, and we enjoyed helping her. The trip was fabulous and we hope to come again in the future.Thanks Sally, your property is special and made our trip that much better.

From the moment we first saw the listing, we were captivated by the stunning photos and detailed descriptions, and we're thrilled to say the property is even more beautiful in person.The listing itself is a dream , impeccably decorated, spotlessly clean, incredible views, well-appointed kitchen and incredible back yard. A truly memorable experience. The host Sally, went above and beyond when we mentioned I was proposing to my than girlfriend and now fiance. Nestled in a side canyon of the Dry Creek Valley, this is a central location for wine tasting and it is perfect for a week or weekend of living the wine country lifestyle without any of the cares of running a rural property! Grape creek, a seasonal stream running through our place has been involved in several habitat enhancement projects for the endangered Coho salmon, and also has breeding populations of steelhead trout as well as many other aquatic creatures and birds. Wild blackberries and grapes line the edges of the creek as a treat for humans and wildlife alike! The house is nestled into the side of the hill at 400' elevation where the oak woodland begins to transition to redwood, madrone, and douglas fir forest. It feels very far away from civilization, but of course it is a quick drive to the center of town (12 minutes) and even faster to our great local grocery, Big John's (10 minutes). There is WiFi and reliable (Starlink) internet access as well as a media room for watching movies/cable tv etc.

Great environment for walking, both on trails within fenced property (dogs can run safely off-leash!) and also in the immediate neighborhood. Four very nice wineries (Michel Schlumberger, Mounts, Quivira, and A. Raffanelli) are within easy walking distance (but do call ahead to confirm hours and also to make an appointment if needed). A nice longer walk (just under two miles) gets you to the Dry Creek General Store (and the adjacent awesome local bar where EVERYONE is welcome!) where you can pick up snacks, picnic food/sandwiches, cold and hot beverages. Open for morning coffee at 6:30am! If you bring or rent bicycles, the options are awesome, too. Take a spin up to Lake Sonoma and there is a nice climb up into the Rockpile AVA. Another great trip is over Canyon Road into Geyserville for lunch at Diavola. The cycling options are truly as diverse as your dining options in Healdsburg! I am happy to make recommendations about local restaurants and day trips as well. When you are here, you will feel like you are truly Out in the Country but you can be on the freeway in six minutes from my front gate and you can get to the Healdsburg Plaza (the beautiful tree-encircled town square...music all summer on Tuesday nights) in twelve minutes. I love living in Healdsburg, and I know you will love it too!
