Wonderful, private location for your next family vacation! So much fun to be had at this private 3 acre lake. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boards, sandy beach, game cottage the list goes on!
Our property has over 40 acres of land for you to explore. There is the main house. Which has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. A loft area and a fully finished basement.

Then we have a game cottage. Here you will find a pool table, shuffle board, dart board, air hockey table, a poker set with cards and dice and a full size treadmill and elliptical machines.

Galena Family Trip

Hosts were very responsive. Property lacked nothing. Little extras everywhere, lots of room, good location. very clean, very well stocked kitchen supplies, comfortable beds and furniture, fun game room and clean hot tub. We enjoyed our weekend. Highly recommended.

Perfect for family vacation!

Diane’s home was the perfect place for our family to spend summer vacation together! There was never a dull moment with all the lake activities and the fun game cottage. The bedrooms were clean and larger than expected. We’ll be back again!!

Wonderful property with cozy & roomy home, fantastic game cottage & unlimited water fun! Super sweet & responsive host! Great time was had by whole family ages 2-85 and we all look forward to returning some day!

Great property

Really liked the property. I have had a number of VRBO rentals and this was close to the top in terms of being well equipped from kitchen to bathrooms. The private lake was great. Great size. Great toys at the beach. Lots of fish (mostly small) but my 6 year old grandson caught a sunfish in the first five minutes. My grandchildren loved the game room in a separate building.

Honestly, I wish we owned this stunning property!!

This place was PERFECT for our family of 8 adults and 3 young kids. There is SO much to do: swimming in the private (and CLEAN) lake, paddling, cooking, air hockey, darts, pool, cornhole, video games (ours), and movie watching. The living room had enough recliners for ALL THE ADULTS! The beds/bedrooms were so comfortable and with 3 full baths, we all had our privacy. And the littles LOVED the house for hide and seek (yes, we ALL played). Galena is a short drive away and we visited this historic town several times. One day we drove into Dubuque to visit a brewery, have lunch and walk along the river. Dawn (our hostess) was absolutely delightful and responded to my comments in record time! We are working out a date we can return to this amazing place. My husband and kids absolutely loved it!! <3
