Beach Trip

This listing has so much potential to be great but it just wasn’t. We got through a 2 night stay but it wouldn’t have been doable for a longer stay. Pros: -decent distance to surrounding beaches -stocked kitchen -smart tvs -nice/easy communication with host -pool -ac worked great -spacious/good for large group of people or families Cons: -cleanliness (couches had stains and debris/food under the cushions/on the floors underneath. Shared bathroom was dirty/needed to be cleaned before being used. Drawings/writing in sharpie on some of the furniture. Some towels/washcloths were stained. Needs a deeper cleaning overall) -fridge wasn’t cooling due to vent being blocked by a bag of ice that was left behind in the freezer -beds/pillows/sheets were extremely uncomfortable, -closets in bedrooms were full of items/not very easy to use for our own storage, seemed like there were just a lot of personal items left behind -incorrect listing of a hot tub

Could be nice

While I appreciated the clean linens and towels, everything else in the condo was absolutely filthy. We had to vacuum and wipe down all surfaces (including toilets) before we even felt remotely comfortable in it. That was quite disappointing considering how much we paid to stay there. Look elsewhere. There are cleaner and less expensive condos out there!

Great location, great apt

Property was advertised and very clean. Kitchen was very well stocked with cooking items, pots/pans, and cutlery galore which was helpful. Some clutter under beds and in kids room closets but not too much of a problem. Even had pool toys and beach umbrellas which was great. Near all the stores and activities and tons of restaurants. Host was wuick to reply and very helpful. Great stay!

Great location and value - a terrific beach experience

Location has easy access to outlets and strip malls, Cape Henlopen and Lewes, and Rehoboth Beach. There is plenty of parking. The condo is spacious and nicely decorated, and the wifi and televisions work well. (Not always the case in our experience!) We loved the books and games to borrow, too. The floors and walls transmit some sound from other units, but our neighbors kept reasonable hours, and there was no issue. When we needed additional towels, the owner was extremely prompt, diligent, and courteous. I think the cleaning service could be a little more thorough, but our stay overall was comfortable, and we are grateful to have stayed here.
