The 2 BR, 2 BA cabin is nestled next to a seasonal creek w/ upgraded kitchen appliances, cozy living room. Parties & events are not permitted. Occupancy limit of 6 adults & kids.

Poolside Escape is a hidden oasis with an in-ground pool and separate hot tub. The sun drenched property is set amid the redwoods, offering both privacy, and ample space to stretch out and unwind. Poolside Retreat is nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a mile from the river. Downtown Guerneville, Russian River beaches, world-class wineries are just a stroll or quick drive away for excursions and recreation.

Poolside Escape has 2 bedrooms ( beds total + sofa sleeper, sleeps 6 max occupancy) providing plenty of common area to hang while also having enough space for everyone to relax in their own zone.
The inviting kitchen, dining and living room encourage guests to join in on the cooking while the media room is equipped with a flat screen smart TV with major streaming apps (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, HuLu). Two gas fireplaces warm the common spaces and make for cozy conviviality in the evenings

By Booking Primary guest acknowledges they must sign House Rules and Rental Agreement if you would like to see this agreement before booking please message the host. Primary guest must be a seasoned guest with good ratings.

By Booking Primary guest acknowledges a $300.00 Security Deposit Hold (SDH) will be collected 2 days before arrival (an email outside of Airbnb with a secure link to enter credit card details will be sent, if Booking on VRBO security deposit hold information is collected at time of booking), the SDH will be returned 3 days after you depart and after final inspections have been completed, no items are reported damaged or missing and there are no additional cleaning fees. Important please note: if booking via VRBO or Direct Booking site and guest cancels within the refund window there will be a 3% cancellation fee applied. If SDH is not submitted 2 days before arrival, access instructions will not be shared until submitted. Declining SDH may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiting monies. Also included in your booking is a $13 Damage Insurance Policy which covers up to $500 in accidental damages. This will post as a “management fee.” PLEASE NOTE: Pool is not heated and is closed between October - April (depending on weather).

POOL RULES & SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGMENT By booking this property, you agree to the following pool safety rules and acknowledge the risks associated with swimming, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by these pool safety rules. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund:

No Lifeguard on Duty: Guests swim at their own risk. The pool is not supervised.
Adult Supervision Required: Children under 14 and non-swimmers must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
No Running or Rough Play: For safety, no diving, running, or roughhousing in or around the pool.
No Glass in the Pool Area: Broken glass can cause serious injuries.
Secure the Area: Guests must ensure all pool gates and doors remain closed to prevent unsupervised access.\
Non-Swimmers & Toddlers: This property may not be suitable for non-swimming children. If booking with young children, guests accept full responsibility for their safety.
No Unauthorized Visitors: Only registered guests are allowed in the pool area.
Alcohol & Drugs: Excessive alcohol consumption or use of drugs in or around the pool is prohibited.
Pool Cover: Guests must not tamper with pool safety equipment.
Liability Waiver: Guests assume all responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group while using the pool. The owners and property managers are not liable for accidents or injuries.

House Access:
The main door to the house has a keyless entry. Access codes are provided approx. 2 days before check in.
Cameras:
Cameras are located on the exterior of the property: pointing towards the front door access of the main house. Cameras are installed primarily as a theft deterrent. Cameras are not monitored and should not be relied on for personal safety. Cameras may be used to verify compliance with Vacation Rental Rules and Agreement.
Maximum Occupancy:
The property has a maximum number of 6 overnight guests allowed (not including children). No more than a maximum of 6 DAY visitors per day (12 guests total during the day, 6 guests + children total overnight) Tent, Camper, RV, van, or car camping is prohibited.

Driveway:
The driveway is an unpaved, one-lane road, however no special vehicle is required to approach. There is room for one car inside the property fence, and two additional cars outside of it. Detailed written driving directions will be sent to confirmed guests.
Accessibility:
Poolside Retreat is a single-story home, all on one level. There are a couple stairs up to the front door from the ground level to the main living area. There is a side deck off the main house to the pool that has one step up or down to ground level. Throughout the property are brick, gravel, stone and mulch walkways that are not paved. This property is not ideal for guests that are not sure-footed.
Fencing & Granny House:
The pool area and yard is fully fenced however. We recommend watching your pets closely as there may be areas where they could get out. Next door to the main house is a Granny house.
Pool:
Poolside Retreat has an in-ground pool with a motorized cover that guests can control. Swim at your own risk, there is no lifeguard on duty. Unsupervised children are not allowed.
The pool is not heated. Absolutely no glass around the pool.
Exterior Shower:
There is an exterior shower for rinsing off before using the pool or hot tub. As a result, it is not included in the total number of full bathrooms in the listing.
Laundry:
Washer & dryer are available for guest use.
Bedrooms:
Primary Bedroom: Total of 2 bedrooms in the main house (not including granny house). There are 2 queen beds, twin bunk beds, 2 pull out sofa sleepers in the living room. A maximum of 6 guests + children.

Bathrooms:
Main house has 2 full baths: one ensuite in the primary bedroom (shower only) and a full bath in hallways with a shower. There is an exterior shower next to the pool and hot tub.
Linens:
One set of bath linens per person (one bath towel, one hand towel, and one wash cloth). Basic body wash is supplied (pls bring your own personal toiletries). Pool towels are provided and are not to be removed from the property, please bring your own river beach towels (do not take pool toys, house towels, linens, blankets off property).
Each queen bed is set with 4 pillows, duvet, flat and fitted sheet, decorative pillows and blanket. Twin bunk beds have 2 sleeping pillows, flat & fitted sheets, duvet, and decorative pillows.
AC:
There is no AC in the house. Pro-tip: Keep doors and windows closed during hot days to keep the inside of the house cool. Open up house after sunset to ventilate. The wrap around porch helps keep the house cool.
Heat & Fireplaces:
The home is equipped with a thermostat to operate the fireplace in the main house, please turn off at night. Bedrooms have portable electric heaters in each closet.
TV/Music:
Smart TV w/ DVD Player, TV equipped with most streaming subscriptions: Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV. Home has one bluetooth/plug-in speaker. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited by county law.
Things you will find at the house:
Full kitchen, gas stove & oven, blender, mixer, dishes, flatware, plasticware for the pool area, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee grinder & maker, various cookware/bakeware, utensils, glasses, wine glasses, basic cocktail accessories, table settings, BBQ utensils. Indoor dining table (6 ppl), and outdoor dining table seats 10. Propane BBQ. Ping Pong table upon request. Dishwashing and liquid hand soap, dishwasher tabs, trash bags, dish towels, sponge. Basic body wash in bathrooms. Bath & Pool towels for each guest (pls do not take to the river, bring your own river towels). Pool floaties (pls do not remove from property, bring your own river floats).
