Prisvärd 3 sovrum! Outer Banks är vackert på hösten och vintern!

Underbart läge i hjärtat av de yttre bankerna. Beläget vid Milepost 6. Gångavstånd till shopping, restauranger och en bra kafé! Huset är 10 år gammalt och blev helt återställt av mig när jag köpte det 2011. Jag lägger in alla nya köksartiklar och golv i hela. I 2016 hade jag ett helt nytt luftkonditioneringssystem installerat. 2017 bytte jag ut alla madrasser. år 2019 bytte jag ut hela mattan i sovrummen (det är mjukare på bara fötter nu!)

Min familj och jag använder det mycket under lågsäsongerna och huset blir fullbokat för somrar så det har allt jag vet att du vill! Lazy Susan ligger i Kill Devil Hills, NC vid Mile Post 6 på West (Sound) sidan. 3 kvarter från The Front Porch-det bästa kaféet i OBX.

Huset har 3 sovrum-2 queen size-sängar, 2 enkelsängar och 2 badrum med badkar som var helt renoverade. Takfläktar och nya lampor hela. Plattskärm i Great Room. Plattskärmar i alla sovrum också. Stort däck på andra våningen. Gasgrill. Gratis trådlöst internet. Ny utomhusdusch under 2012. Perfekt hus för par, familjer eller små grupper. Det är en Beach Box (på stylter) så det finns trappor att komma till vardagsrummet. Huset är djurvänligt men det finns inte en inhägnad gård, så du måste gå dem.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Susan! The house was spotless when we arrived, and everything was exactly as described. Susan, the host, was incredibly helpful from the day we booked the house and continued to be just as helpful throughout our stay, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was also great to see that the ice maker and dishwasher were perfectly clean with no mold—something we really appreciate in a rental. The home is within walking distance to a nice walking trail and close to plenty of fun things to do. While we couldn’t go to the beach during our stay due to the weather, our overall experience was still amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

Such an amazing stay!

Had such a wonderful time at Susan’s place! The cottage was clean and chic, right by the water and a quick drive across the street to the beach! Will definitely stay here again

Relaxing

I traveled with my husband, 2 daughters and parents. We also brought our fur babies. The house had plenty of space for us all. The house was clean and fully stocked with dishes. The neighborhood was very quiet, we enjoyed walking in the evening. It is a great location and we can’t wait to come again. The owner Susan is very nice and answered very quickly. Thank you for the memories.

Lazy Susan Top Notch

We had a great stay; the house was wonderful very cozy and comfortable. Close to almost everything, even the neighbors were nice. The only bad thing was those steps they are steep and narrow, but that's a minor thing. I even sharpened the knifes on our do-nothing day. We will definitely go there again. Maybe we can get frequent liven points. LOL

Short and sweet!

Highly Recommend!We recently stayed at The Lazy Susan and had an incredible experience! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect. A short walk to a sunset every night, quick drive to the beach and walking distance to a welcoming Coffee shop and local Chip’s beer and wine. Both locations very welcoming and friendly. The host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and provided great local recommendations. We loved the convenience of the area and the beach town feels. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing/adventurous/family-friendly getaway. We’d love to come back!

Great weekend getaway

House was wonderful, with all we needed to cook. Enjoyed the front porch for morning coffee and evening nights! Close walk to either ocean or sound. If you enjoy walks/runs, the sound side trail is close and wonderful! Thanks for allowing us a fun-filled fall weekend getaway.

Perfect spot

It was wonderful! Cute house with hammock and deck, grill, and kitchen with supplies. Beds are comfy and it was just right for our two kids ages 6 and 4. Plus our dog enjoyed walking along the sound every morning, which is just a few blocks away.

Our Stay at the Lazy Susan

We only had one issue throughout our stay with the AC and it was quickly addressed by the owner. Everything from check-in through check-out went smoothly. We would definitely stay again.

This picture above is of me on the front porch of the house. I originally grew up in NJ, came to DC for college in 1985 and lived in the DC area until 2022 when I moved to Florida. I got married 4/18/15. Which means Bill and I combined 2 houses and The Lazy Susan 'inherited' a lot of extra furniture and kitchen stuff. We had a new addition to the family in 6/16 when my step-daughter got a puppy! Peaches says the house is very dog friendly! Then in June 2020 we fostered a dog because we were working from home and adopted her-Luisa loves it here!

Varför värden valde detta boende

I have been vacationing in the OBX since 1994. Every year I came down more. I finally bought this house in 2011 that I am renting out part of the summer and using it for my family. I love the neighborhood. Its quiet with lots of running and biking trails. I can walk or drive to the beach and the whole world is within 2 miles!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Prior to me the house was owned by an artist (painter). There are many custom touches including a large mural of a tropical fish. The bedrooms are custom painted as is the ceiling of the car port.

I recommend everybody takes long walks along Bay Drive and watch the sunsets from the piers.
