Marwood Cove - Luxury Waterfront Cottage with Hot Tub

Welcome to Marywood Cove! This luxury cottage is nestled in the heart of the Canadian Lakes area which is a golfer's paradise. It sits in a private cove on Lake Mecosta which is connected to two other lakes comprising of 700 acres total of spring fed crystal clear water. This extraordinary cottage offers top-notch finishes, spacious living spaces, and a fantastic backyard that can comfortably accommodate two to four families or larger groups and is just a short distance to Grand Rapids.

**** A couple of important things to mention. You must be 25 years or older to book this property. No Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties, Weddings, or Parties of any kind. You may be asked to sign a rental agreement outside of Vrbo and/or provide an ID. ****

**** In late October/early November of every year, the dock, kayaks, and outdoor games will be put away for the season. ****

**** There is a video doorbell with audio at the front door. ****

**** There is a 220v Outlet for EV Charging, but guests will need to have their own adapter and charging cable. ****

Our wish is that this place will bring family and friends together to create lasting memories with each other. There's something about all being together at a beautiful lake house that can cultivate great times. Whether that be in the summer or during the winter there is plenty to do in the house and the surrounding area for any season.

Outside:
This cottage has over 100 feet of water frontage with a beach and private dock. 2 adult kayaks and 2 kid kayaks are provided to explore the lake. If you have a boat or want to rent one, there is space at the dock when in season. The large backyard is a private paradise. From the firepit on nice cool nights to relaxing in the hot tub, this place is ready to bring your R&R to the next level.

Inside:
With five bedrooms and multiple roomy common areas, there is enough room for everybody to spread out and relax. The well appointed kitchen is the center of the open floor plan on the main floor. It is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and is fully stocked with a toaster, crock pot, non stick pots and pans, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, cookie sheets, mixing bowls, griddle, glass drinkware, adult beverage drinkware, plates and bowls, silverware, kids plastic plates and bowls, kids silverware, food storage containers, blender, common seasonings, oils, and much more.

Snuggle up to the fireplace on cold or wet days and watch a movie on the Samsung Smart TV or pull out a board game and get your game on. Or head to the garage and play a game or two of ping pong. There is an office space with a desk and chair for anybody who needs to get some work done.

House Rules:
- The CHECK OUT LIST must be completed before leaving on check out day. If the check out list isn't completed we may have to charge an additional cleaning fee.
- Only guests over 25 may book our house. VRBO doesn't have this as an option for hosts, but we will cancel your booking if you are under 25. We may request valid ID to verify your age if we see fit.
- Absolutely no smoking, vaping, juuling on the property. If the house smells of any type of smoke or vape, you may be charged for an additional cleaning.
- Absolutely no marijuana or any illegal substances on the property.
- No guests allowed other than who is on the original reservation. (unless previously discussed with the host)
- Overnight stays of unregistered guests will result in immediate eviction.
- No Parties allowed.
- Quiet time between 10pm and 7am.
- No wake time for boats or PWC between 7:30pm and 11am.
- No eating or drinking in bedrooms. Please enjoy your meal in the dining room(s)
- No pets allowed.
- Make sure to turn off the lights and any electronics when you leave the house and please don't forget to close the windows and lock the doors.
- Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner.
- Please leave your shoes in the front entry area.
- Dispose of the garbage in the proper trash bins.
- Wash the dishes and throw out the garbage before checkout.
- No children under 6 allowed in the hot tub. Children 6-17 will need to be accompanied by an adult to use the hot tub.
- Parents must keep an eye on all children under 12 while outside near the water.
- No candles.
- No excessive drinking.
- No Fireworks of any kind are allowed on the property.
- No bounce houses or slip-n-slides allowed.
- Don't move any furniture.
- No RV's, tents, or campers are allowed on the property.
- Please only use the dock on our property. Please refrain from using other docks / swim platforms as they are private property.
