Axtel komplexa plats blir inte bättre beläget vid basen av Silver Queen-hiss på Mount Crested Butte. Detta 3 sovrum, 3 badrum badlägenhet är helt unik och spänner över tre våningar i Axtel Building. Ingången är belägen på sluttningssidan på tredje våningen med skid- och cykelkåpsförvaring på bottenvåningen. Att komma in i lägenheten introduceras du i den uppgraderade matsalen och köket med rostfria vitvaror och granitbänkskivor. Matrummet befaller med vedeldad spis (vi föredrar duralogs), sittplatser för 8 och en balkong med utsikt över hissarna. Hall fullt bad ligger också på entréplan, samt ett våningssäng rum som kan rymma upp till fem med två dubbla bunkar och enkla trille. Barnen kommer att bli underhållna med sin egen plattskärms-TV i detta rum. Fortsätter på övervåningen till det öppna vardagsrummet med våt bar och bekväma sittplatser för alla att njuta av med stor plattskärms-TV. Drottning gäst sovrum med platt-TV finns också på andra våningen med hall fullt bad, komplett med en två personer bastu! Flytta till tredje och övre våningen i lägenheten kommer du att bli imponerad av master badrummet. Den har en djup inläggad bubbelbadkar för att suga in efter en lång dag med lek. Du kommer också vila lätt på kungens säng eller koppla av med några shower på plattskärms-TV. Stackad tvättmaskin och torktumlare på entréplanet. Observera, denna lägenhet kräver ganska många trappor men platsen är oöverträffad. Parkering för 1 på plats, överfyllning parkering tillgänglig för ytterligare 1 fordon om det behövs.

FREE Mountain Express Shuttle kör året runt för transport till och från staden Crested Butte och omgivande områden. Axtel ligger inom nära gångavstånd från huvudgatan. Sommar schema körs var 20: e minut vinterplanen löper var 15: e minut axelsäsonger var 40: e minut.

Convenient to all

Steps from the lift. The condo is well stocked and feels comfortable. We cooked dinner one night and went out to the local spots for other nights. We would definitely go back. Only drawback is that it only has one parking spot. If you have more than 6 people in two cars it could be hard. Crested Butte has some pretty restrictive parking rules so it is not necessarily the condos fault. We just found out right before we arrived so we were surprised by it since we had two cars

Great Place for Families

We stayed here with our 2 adult children, their spouses And our grandchildren. It was perfect!!! Well appointed and a great location. I appreciated that they provided extra towels under each bathroom sink. Really a nice touch! I would highly recommend staying here.

True ski in ski out

Fabulous updated condo, master shower/steam room perfect for post skiing therapy. Owners did a great job with the space. If the condo was any closer to the lift you’d be eating and sleeping on the chairs. Definitely plan to stay again!

Right in front of the lifts.

The apartment is very spacious. Located right in front of the lifts, you really can't do better as far as location. If you are cooking breakfast, make sure you bring your own pan and spatulas. The pans were worn out and in bad condition.

Great spot on the slopes!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo overall. VERY convenient location in relation to the slopes (but see re; stairs below)The kitchen is spacious and well stocked to be able to cook a meal. very easy to adjust the temperature inside to be comfortable. We were only able to find 2 humidifiers (we had people in all 3 rooms). The one in the master bedroom did not work the whole time, and both seemed to have black stuff keep coming out in the water. Either bring your own (very much needed up there!) or hope they are replaced. The biggest thing to be aware of (and maybe I missed it in the listing) is that the entrance to the condo is up 4 flights of stairs. There is no direct access to the front of the building from the parking lot, you have to walk around. Singage was kind of vague. An elevator would DO WONDERS in this building. So when you first arrive with luggage and groceries, be aware you have A LOT of stairs and carrying to do! We were not prepared for this. Thanks!

Crested Butte Ski Trip

The location of this condo can’t be beat. Right at the base of the 2 Crested Butte base lifts. The condo was clean and nicely furnished with plenty of room for a large group. You do have to climb 2 flights of stairs outside the building to get to the front door and the condo itself has three levels so it isn’t a good property for people with stair climbing impairment. Otherwise it is a great property.

Decent place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was in a great location, right in front of the lift. It’s up quite a few stairs, but for going to and from the slopes it wasn’t bad— it was a huge pain for loading and unloading the car though. The condo was clean and had most everything we needed & everything worked fine. The parking lot is small but we were always able to find a spot. All in all it was a great spot to stay, my only complaint is that we never heard anything from the management company for checking in. I had booked through VRBO and tried messaging them the day of check-in and never heard back. I finally had to Google the company to find a phone number and wait for their after hours (office closes at 5) receptionist to figure out how to get us in.

Not our favorite stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only positive for us was that the location was optimal. We easily skied home for lunch each day. However, there were A LOT of stairs and a long walk from the parking area, which made it difficult to haul food, equipment, and luggage. The fireplace wasn’t a functioning fireplace. Additionally, my husband laid on the living room floor to do some stretching and there were peanuts all over the carpet as if it hadn’t been vacuumed since the last visitors. The TVs were not updated/smart, so we couldn’t cast to them or use any apps. Lastly, we tried to use the jacuzzi, but it was 109 degrees.

Awesome Crested Butte Location

Yes, there are a lot of stairs, but it’s worth it. We had a pleasant stay overall. Just as with any accommodations there were some negative aspects. First the positives! My mom, who stayed back with our toddler, had a great view and could watch us come down right from the unit. There was ample ski storage in the unit and in the downstairs locker. We had enough room for our boots and other gear, but we only had 3 skiers among us. A larger group would run out of storage room quick. The beds were comfy and the water pressure is good. In unit laundry was very nice. The unit was very clean and tidy and there are humidifiers for each bedroom. There are a few aspects that could be improved easily. The dishes were pretty dirty upon arrival and after using the dishwasher once it was easy to see why. The assortment of pots, pans, and cooking utensils is pretty random. Most have loose handles or are otherwise not usable. There were no baking dishes. Most importantly, there are no deadbolt or chains or other ways to lock the doors in a childproof manner, even though the kids/bunk room is on the entry floor with one of the sliding doors in the bunk room. This was an issue for us, so an adults had to stay in the bunk room with one of the kids. Somehow, maybe through the vent fans, we could smell what the neighbors below us were cooking and smoking, especially when they burned dinner one night! The building access and stairways that go to different units is confusing, but alright once we figured it out. I felt like this could’ve been explained better at check in or they need to provide a better map! The neighbors were respectful and quiet after 10:00, with the exception of our last night. The unit below us had quite a party most of the night and woke up our son on the second floor. No one got a lot of sleep that night. Although the management calls for quiet time after 10:00, there was no contact information provided to report the problem. Overall, we would stay here again and recommend.

Ski-in, ski-out at the Silver Queen Lift

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the condo was fantastic, literally right at the Silver Queen Express. This is only slightly challenging during move in / out, when you have to lug gear across snow and upstairs, as the condo access is on the mountain side. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out across the 3 floors. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well equipped. The kitchen ware could use some updating, as there was limited glass ware, and nothing capable of cleaning pots and pans. The concept of the in unit sauna was great, but we couldn’t figure out how to get it working. Maybe it works, but an instruction sheet would help. The on-site hot tub is tucked around the corner of building and isn’t very big, but was in good shape.

Ski in ski out!

Great property, so close to the slopes! Cute design with several levels. Loved the condo-lots of stairs so keep in mind for older folks or handicapped. No elevator

Three generations....

We wanted true ski-in/ski-out and this fit the bill. The description was accurate about the stairs. There are a lot of them. But the location s superb. We enjoyed watching the Silver Queen lift morning until dusk. (Note: the master bedroom overlooks the slope and the snowcat noise needed to be blocked by a big box fan.) Perks aside from the location are the wet and dry saunas and jet tubs for relaxing after hitting the slopes.
