If you never want to leave our cozy retreat, donât. Want to warm-up by the fire after taking a dip in the pool? Do it. Want to feel like youâre in a dive bar while never leaving the living room? Pull-up a stool. Need activities to entertain your kids while you take a half-eye-open-snooze on the couch? Say no more. And when you want to experience the beautiful Valley, itâs at your finger tips. Leave to explore the great outdoors, or snuggle up under a blanket for the weekend. The choice is yours.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Our home, Vale Mountain Lodge, has 3 bedrooms, contains 11 beds, and sleeps a total of 15 guests.
Sleeping spaces include:
1) The Mountain Room
-1 queen bed
-Accommodates 2 people
2) The Bunk Room
-2 bunk beds with trundles. Each bunk has 1 full bed and 2 twin beds.
-Accommodates 8 people
3) The Teal Room
-1 full bed with a twin trundle
-Accommodates 3 people
4) Living Room
-1 twin daybed with a twin trundle
-Accommodates 2 people
Additional, pillows and blankets are available, if needed / desired.
LIVING SPACE
While an open area, the living room downstairs has four entertaining spaces. These spaces include:
1) Comfy couch space with a sectional, smart TV (Must use personal log-ins to access YouTube TV, Amazon, Netflix, etc.), and stocked book shelf for all ages;
2) Game space that contains a daybed, oversized leather chair, coffee table, games, and puzzles;
3) Children's play area that includes games, puzzles, and toys; and
4) Bar area with multiple seating options, a wet bar, and barware.
We have card tables and chairs, if needed / desired.
Additional throw blankets are also available.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES & AMENITIES
With two youngsters of our own, we understand that traveling feels like loading-up your whole house and then some. Worry no more. We've included most everything needed to keep those little ones happy.
Baby / toddler / child amenities include 2 x Graco Pack 'n Plays, a stroller, Ingenuity feeding and floor seat with self-storing tray, toddler-friendly plates/cups/silverware, and more!
KITCHEN
Feel like cooking? Our kitchen contains the essentials, and much more, to get you through your stay.
LAUNDRY
An in-house washer and dryer are available for use. Laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and laundry baskets are available.
WORKOUT EQUIPMENT
Love traveling, but hate giving up your workout routine while doing so? Don't! Our "mini-gym" is at your disposal.
ANIMALS
While we love all animals, we only allow dogs in our home. We provide a dog bed and food & water bowls for your furry family friends. To keep the house welcoming for owners of dogs and those without, dogs are not permitted upstairs, on the furniture, or on the pool deck. When you are not at the home, dogs must be kept in the kitchen to prevent damage to the furniture while you are away. Dog gates and a crate available for use. Guests must also pick-up after their dogs when they use the restroom in the yard.
OUTDOORS
Enjoy our inground pool (open Memorial Day through Labor Day), Jacuzzi hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor games!
Please note that the pool is not heated, but we do have a solar cover to assist in warming the water up.
During the summer, outdoor seating, floats, children's pool toys, children's life jackets, beach towels, and outdoor beverage cart are available.
Outdoor games, along with an assortment of kids toys are available for your enjoyment. We're always adding to our collection!
WINTER SPORTS
In the basement, we have a ski / snowboard rack, boot trays, and coat hooks for your gear.
No matter the season, there's something to do!
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to the entire house, yard and driveway except for the maintenance room, owner storage, and garage.
PARKING
During the warmer months, there are 6 parking spaces - 3 on the parking pad in front of the house and 3 down the driveway. In the winter, there are 4 parking spaces - 2 on the parking pad and 2 down the driveway. This arrangement gives our plowing company the space it needs to effectively move the snow. While issues in the winter are not common, we recommend parking 4-wheel drive vehicles down the driveway when there is a chance of snow.
In the event of snow, we have a snow removal service that will come to the property if the cumulative threshold is met. In some instances, we may need to reach out to you regarding the snow removal process.
MAINTENANCE
During your stay, there may be individuals that come onto the property to remove trash, mow the lawn, clean/treat the pool, etc. Depending on the treatment needed, the pool may not be useable for a period of time. We appreciate your patience as these individuals work hard to keep our home neat and tidy for all guests.

With two little kids and two big dogs, checking-in and out of hotel rooms while traveling became quite a hassle. It felt like moving every time we vacationed, and honestly, it made us want to vacation less.
Who wants that?
So in order to increase family fun and decrease stress, we decided to purchase a home in one of our favorite places, Intervale, NH.
No more lugging a travel bed for our youngest. No more hoping thereâs a mini-fridge to store essential snacks for our eldest. No more cringing when our dogs bark at the slightest creak in the floor.
Wanting to pass this (almost) worry-free travel experience on, we opened our home to others. We look forward to making you feel at home in the beautiful Mount Washington Valley!
