We loved our stay in the land of enchantment and this enchanting condo. Diane is a consummate hostess who has truly thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and stress free. The kitchen facilities were top notch,the electronics provided allowed us to stream effortlessly and use the provided Bluetooth to listen to listen to our book on tape and music. The condo was well situated, you could walk around the neighborhood or easily to the capital building,(which we found very interesting.) The condo was quiet, no noise from neighbors,there was easy ample parking. We were two senior couples who loved our stay and highly recommendthis condo.

Bella Casa is a Perfect Getaway

A Perfect Getaway for the International Folk Art Festival!We recently had the pleasure of staying in Santa Fe for the International Folk Art Festival, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were thrilled to discover the wonderful "hang out" spaces available, and we made the most of each one.Our mornings began with coffee in the cozy back patio, which was warm and beautifully decorated—a perfect start to the day. For our planning sessions, we loved gathering around the table near the kitchen, which was ideal for enjoying appetizers and wine. After long days of shopping and exploring, we often retreated to the comfortable living room to unwind.The location was fantastic, with an enjoyable walk to town. We appreciated the convenience of an easy Uber ride back, especially after indulging in too much shopping or margaritas!Overall, our stay was exceptional, and we loved every moment. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this lovely place!

The South Capitol Condo was great. Perfect space and location. Everything was clean and nicely labeled. We loved the 2 bedroom layout and the condo compound had 2 parking spaces. My husband and I both grew up in New Mexico - my husband in Los Alamos, and myself in Albuquerque. Meeting at UNM in 1972 was the beginning of a fabulous journey for us. We moved around the country but always wanted to be back in New Mexico. Splitting the difference between our families, in 1987 we ended up with the most amazing condo just outside of the craziness of downtown Santa Fe. Over the years we were blessed with a beautiful daughter who loves being in Santa Fe as well! The condo remains our very favorite spot, and we have worked hard to make it inviting, comfortable and functional for our guests. We began years ago just occasionally renting to friends and family, and have expanded to include others. We have had the best experiences with travelers, and invite you to become one of our cherished guests. We strive to accommodate the needs of each group, so let us know what you are looking for in a vacation spot, and we will be completely honest with you about our home. It is important to us that you have a great trip and everything works perfectly for you. We have great associates in Santa Fe should anything be needed, so rest assured you will be well taken care of by the best. Happy Travels!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

When we finally began looking for a place in Santa Fe, we knew we wanted something close to the Plaza with all of the restaurants, galleries and museums. We looked forever it seemed, then one day we happened upon a condo for sale in the South Capitol area. Tree lined residential streets, quiet, with the most sought after elementary in town. Turns out, the condos were designed and built by friends of my husbands in the mid 1980's. Phil is an architect by trade, and upon this discovery, we knew this was the place. At the time, it wasn't very well kept, and we strove through the years to be sure it is always in pristine condition with traditional Santa Fe Style furnishings and art. Lots of love and care has gone into the unique furnishings, the acquisition of art, and continuous maintenance.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Let me start with what to expect when you arrive at Bella Casa. We have 2 dedicated off street parking spaces, which make entry with all of your bags very easy to accomplish no matter the weather...just steps from the front patio door. Both our front and back patios are complete with seating, greenery and beautiful shade trees as well as being surrounded by tall adobe walls, so they are completely private. After accessing keys you will enter through the gate, onto the front patio. This is a great spot for a favorite beverage and relaxing. It is viewed from the living room and lends fabulous light and ambiance to the condo. The back patio has a grill, easy access to dry firewood, a patio table as well as additional seating and a Chiminea. It can be viewed from the kitchen and dining area. If you are ever lucky enough to be at Bella Casa in May, you will see the magnificent Lilac bush in bloom by the kitchen window. Arch Bishop Lamy gifted this plant to his close friend, my husband's Grandfather, who was the Editor of the New Mexican for many years. It was transplanted from their home in Santa Fe and remains in our garden.

The two bedrooms are completely separate. Upstairs is a King bed, with great light and private tub/shower full bath. Plenty of storage, as well a spacious closet. Brick floors throughout, vaulted ceilings with vigas, and a great view of the back patio and beyond. In the winter months when the leaves have fallen, you can see the top of the Capitol building (also known as the Round House) from the window, and the mountains surrounding Santa Fe. Downstairs is an identical sized bedroom with a King Bed/Bath. The window overlooks the back patio. Vigas, brick floors, and a large closet complete this room. Flat screen TV's are in both bedrooms as well as the Living Area.
