Tucked away in the heart of the Northwoods, this newly renovated cabin offers a cozy and intimate escape for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The charm of the exterior is complemented by a private screened in porch that opens up to sweeping views of the tranquil lake, inviting guests to enjoy morning coffees or evening sunsets in serene seclusion. Inside, the cabin exudes warmth with its knotty pine interiors, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.

Loonatic Lodge sits on Callahan Lake which is a sister lake to the Chippewa Flowage. It offers abundant fishing with Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass and Walleye. Just over 138 acres it offers plenty of room to explore with family and friends.

The fully renovated interior offers you modern amenities throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook for the entire family. The porch offers you a space away from the bugs that you can enjoy sunsets from.

Stepping outside Loonatic Lodge gives expansive views of the lake with easy access to the lake. The quaint fire pit area gives you a place to relax after a long day on the water. Loonatic Lodge also comes with 2 kayaks for you to enjoy.

Lovely cabin with everything you could want! Laundry in cabin was so helpfulon our second week of vacation! very comfortable bed! Two kayaks. Very well designed for lake comfort!

Perfect place for a quiet getaway

My wife and I stayed at this cabin for five days as a good getaway from work. It had pretty much everything you could ask for great atmosphere a dock you can fish off and catch it as many bluegills as you could want, and all the amenities to make it feel like a home away from home. So much wildlife to see and hear as well! Will recommend to others for sure.

Great family getaway

The cabin was a perfect fit for our trip. The property was clean and well kept. We launched our boat at the camp ground across the lake and docked it at the cabin. The lake is a nice option for families, not as busy. We enjoyed having a campfire and s’mores every night. The laundry amenities on site came in handy after being in the water everyday!

Abundant Wildlife!

Wildlife was abundant at this fantastic cabin on a very quiet lake. Geese, ducks, fox, deer, and bear (which we missed as we were sleeping at 4am)! Cabin is clean, comfortable, and has modern amenities! The fire pit and abundance of firewood is excellent! There are two kayaks, but no PFDs, which is the only complaint we had... Great location and close to eateries and Hayward!

Beautifully remodeled older cabin, very comfortable. Saw deer, woodpeckers, loons, ducks, black squirrel and bear cubs. Didn't try fishing but it looked like a good spot for it. Only drawback was people 2 doors east were burning lumber cutoffs and logs for 3 days with smoke often drifting our way. A beautiful and peaceful setting.

Great cabin!

This cabin was extremely clean and recently updated and renovated. It had all of the necessary amenities. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking full meals in the cabin. Fishing is great right off the dock! Our kids caught A TON of blue gills right there. The water is extremely clean, but the bottom is weedy near the cabin and isn’t ideal for swimming off the dock/shore. Tons of wildlife nearby! We saw countless deer, loons, and we even saw a black bear with her 3 cubs! Easy drive into Hayward. There are neighboring cabins, so this isn’t total seclusion, but we found it very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
