Spacious, Private and Fully-Equipped Home with Miacomet Golf Course Views

Come relax and unwind in our Nantucket home, “The Eagles”. The Eagles is nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac overlooking the fairway of the 18th hole at Miacomet Golf Course. It is a 2,135 square foot home with an upside down floor plan and has everything you could need for your vacation. The house has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and sleeps 10 comfortably (plus 2 trundles beds).

On the second floor is a master bedroom with private bathroom, eat-in kitchen, with a large country dining table, living room and a powder room. The 2 upstairs decks provide plenty of space to enjoy the amazing sunsets and exceptional stargazing. On the first floor is a spacious second master bedroom with private bathroom, The Bunk room, a guest bedroom, a shared full bathroom and a laundry room. The Bunk room has a bunk bed, 2 twin beds and a trundle bed.

The attached 1 car garage provides adequate room to store bikes, golf clubs or almost any other outdoor equipment you may bring and the laundry area with washer and dryer ensures dry swimsuits and fresh towels for every beach day.

The Eagles is just over a mile from Ladies beach, which makes for a great walk or bike ride. And 1.5 miles from Miacomet Beach. Also, within a quick drive and easy bike ride are Bartlett Farm and Market, 167 Seafood Market, and our favorite place to hangout Cisco Brewery. It couldn’t be easier to enjoy a game of golf or a meal at the Clubhouse. A short walk brings you to the Private/Public 18 hole Miacomet Golf Course. Town is 2.5 miles away and is easily accessible by car or bike. Alternatively, the town shuttle is a 5 min walk away.

Vacation living is made easier by the fully-equipped kitchen. The Great Room boasts a spacious open floor plan and with its cathedral ceilings, and majestic views, it is perfect for any entertaining needs. It also features a working wood burning fireplace which is great for the occasional cool night or a cozy winter visit. The Great Room has a flat screen TV with Comcast Cable and streaming video capability, Blu Ray/DVD player, WiFi, and a stereo.

The Bunk room has a flat screen TV, a Playstation 3, board games and puzzles. All your beach needs are accounted for with plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys for your use. There is plenty of yard space to enjoy a yard game, have a barbecue on the grill, a great game of tag or to just lounge. The house has outdoor game sets for croquet, bocce, and volleyball/badminton.

With 40 years of Nantucket vacationing experience we are a great resource for the best food, drink, nightlife, attractions and beach going. We made the house as fully stocked as possible so that a stay at The Eagles is as comfortable as staying at your own home.

Get escape

The house and property were both clean, well manicured and quiet. It was a perfect place for a family gathering and escape from the heat of the Northeast. The proximity to the beach was a huge bonus. Only thing that is missing is an outdoor shower to make the experience perfect. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful house. Great location!

A beautiful home sits on a large lot with plenty of privacy. Centrally located, it is close to everything. The beach, food store, and town are all nearby. House was well stocked with beach toys, chairs, coolers, etc. Owners were responsive with clear, easy to follow guidance. We had two families with adult children. Plenty of parking for our 2 cars and everyone had their own, well appointed room. Highly recommend.

Lovely Home

This home, literally steps from the Miacomet Golf Course, was open, airy, and spacious. The house included beach towels, chairs, games, lots of TVs, fans, and air conditioners in each bedroom. The weather was incredible! The location was fairly close to the things we wanted to do such as Bartlett Farm, Cisco Beach, Cisco Brewer, and Town. While not walking distance all were a short bike ride away. And, Town is on the bus route about a 10 min walk from the house. We were unable to get our car over (get yourself online the moment the reservations open in Jan or you’ll be stuck). We would definitely come back to 11 Doc Ryder in the future. Thank you for the fun and great memories!

Awesome House!

My husband and I stayed with our 3 adult children and just loved the house! The layout is perfect, plenty of room for everyone. It is an amazing location-on the golf course, close to the Beach, Cisco and downtown. The owners are wonderful to deal with- and they were so nice, they even left us a bottle of Nantucket Vineyards wine! They have also provided so many extras to add to the fun, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and our favorite- a brand new beautiful Weber grill!

Home away from home!!

Yes, it's as nice as the picture looks!! The Eagles was the nicest rental I've ever stayed in. The house was immaculate, well decorated, cozy and filled with every necessity one would need while on vacation. The upside down house allowed for beautiful views of the golf course, the island greenery and in a distance, the water. Fresh island breezes filled the house. The 3 bedrooms downstairs (one being a master) are large and comfortable. The upstairs master was perfect! We were 7 and had ample room. The layout of the house worked so well, was practical and and the kitchen was spacious, clean and had everything a cook would need. Two families could share this house. There were ample linens, beach towels, beach toys and equipment, all so well organized. It's very evident the owners, who are super friendly, want the best for their renters and go the extra step to make sure you are comfortable, feel at home and are happy. The house was perfect in every way. Amazing location too! Loved having Bartlett Farms so close!! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!!

Great house, exactly as described

Just got back from a wonderful stay at the Eagles! Everything was just as described in the posting - beautiful, clean, well-equipped house. We had as many as 11 people in the house at a time, and all were comfortable. As described, there were plenty of beach towels, umbrellas, and boogie boards, so we didn't need to bring any beach equipment. The kitchen was well-equipped too, and we cooked in several nights. Plenty of hot water, even when 11 people got back from the beach and all wanted to shower! The property was very nice and quite spacious - enough so that we managed to play a family game of ultimate frisbee in the back yard. The house is about 2 miles off Surfside road. We mostly rode our bikes everywhere - it was about a 15 minute ride into town, and 20 minutes to Surfside beach. (My sister's family stayed with us and rented a car, which was convenient for trips to the market and such.) Since the house is several miles out of town, the dark sky affords and incredible view of the stars, and we were lucky enough to be staying during the Perseid meteor shower, so saw an unforgettable show in in the sky. The owners were very friendly and helpful in answering and questions or concerns quickly, and were easily accessible during the stay in case any problems had arisen. All in all, a great place to stay!

A trio of brothers and a sister own the house. We are Kathryn Lebel, Jim Mallon, and Bill Mallon. Kathryn and Jim have spent most of their lives in and around the Boston area. Bill is currently in Decatur, GA, a long trip to get back to Nantucket, but worth it every year. We have been coming to Nantucket our whole lives, and now it is not only our favorite place to go but also our family reunion each year.
