Den minsta av våra Shacks är Chill Shack också mysigaste ... och vissa kanske hävdar den mest charmiga och romantiska också. Det finns gott om utrymme för två med Queen size-säng. max 2 hjärtslag.

Chill Shack ligger precis i mitten av alla Rathershack åtgärder. Liksom de andra kåkstäder, är du bara en kort promenad till stranden, men du kan också sitta utanför Shack och lounge i solen i din privata inhägnad gård.

Medan Chill Shack är mysig, kommer du att sakna för ingenting. Det öppna köket och vardagsrummet kan du interagera med dina gäster medan du gör middag i vår fullt utrustade kök. Chanserna är bra men att du kanske föredrar fastställa din middag på gasgrill som är rätt utanför dörren och matsal al fresco under Folly Beach stjärnor.

Outstanding Accomodations

The check-in process was excellent along with a video showing exactly how to get into the unit. When my wife and I open the door and stepped in, we could not believe our eyes and how beautiful this place was. Completely remodeled and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay at Folly. The owner was nothing but accommodating and answered any questions we had. Very friendly and informative of the area. I will go back for sure to stay at this rental.

Great spot on Folly Beach

In town for a wedding. Property well maintained. A short 1 block walk to beach, 2-3 blocks to all the shops and restaurants and ~25 min drive to downtown Charleston.

Another Perfect Stay at the Chill Shack!

My husband and I have stayed at the Chill Shack over the past few summers, and I can’t possibly say enough good things about the RatherShacks and Kat & Sam! The recent refresh of the Chill Shack decor is absolutely gorgeous. As always, the space was impeccably clean and spotless when I arrived with plenty of fluffy bath towels and comfy bedding/pillows in the bedroom. The check in process was a breeze and it’s so nice knowing that Kat & Sam are always nearby with a helpful hand should you have any questions or concerns. They are always extremely kind and very easy to get ahold of should you need anything. Between the lovely accommodations, wonderful hosts, and having the beach and the best that Folly has to offer just mere moments away, you can’t go wrong! Thank you for another perfect vacation!

Cozy Beach Cottage

The cottage has been renovated and was even nicer than we expected from the pictures. It's a block from the beach and 3 blocks from the center of town. We walked everywhere. So close to Bert's market where we picked up everything from steaks for the grill to a nice bottle of red wine to have with them. The ice cream is really good to. We loved the beach, not too crowded and the water was so warm! Sam and Katt were a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Place to Chill Out

This was a cozy place to chill out close to the beach. While it is small, it has all the ammenities I was looking for including a grill, a comfy coutch, excellent shower, and well stocked kitchen.

Beach Turkey Time

Property was very clean and especially appreciated the dedicated parking space so close to the beach. Slight discrepancy between online listing and actual configuration relative to breakfast bar in kitchen, but not a deal-breaker as a large screen TV had been added. Very spacious and overall very accomodating features; overall, an A !

Chill shack exceeded expectations - Beautiful cottage and newly renovated

The newly renovated Chill Shack was awesome and exceeded our expectations. The quality of the cottage was excellent. The owners Katt and Sam paid attention to every detail. From having everything you need inside to beach chairs and beach towels for outside. You can’t beat the location steps from the beach and a short walk to town. Clearly there was a lot thought that went into making sure our stay was excellent. It was our first trip to Folly Beach and we are glad we stayed here. We would stay again at this location “Chill Shack” or one of the other Rathershacks. Thank you for a nice stay.

We Love Folly Beach ❤️

This little place for two was perfect for a much needed getaway. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, bathroom towels, beach towels and kitchen towels provided. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils dinnerware and cookware. Everything we needed as we prepared most of our own meals due to my husband’s special diet. The grill was just like the one we have at home and we used it every day. The yard and landscaping was beautiful and well kept. You can tell the owners take pride in their rental. The beach access was just a short walk away. We took a short walk every evening to enjoy the local music and a cocktail. The owners were very kind and we definitely will come back again. Make sure you go up to the end of Ashley Avenue to Morris Island where the lighthouse is. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Katt and Sam!

Great Couple Getaway!

The ChillShack was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend for my husband and I. A very quick walk to the beach, within a few blocks to several shops, restaurants and bars, and the owners were nearby if we needed anything, but we didn't. The shack was well decorated and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen! Thank you Sam & Katt!

Great fall visit

Location to beach, pier, and center street is great. Also a very short walk to Bert's grocery, the coolest store ever. Comfy bed and living area. Katt and Sam were super hosts, with great communication and even gave us 8 Budweisers!

Was nice but 5-star ??

We stay on Folly almost annually and while this was nice I dont feel it was a true 5-star compared to others we’ve been at. This was in need of some updates. The TV just didnt work for us - sometimes audio while not at other times. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but several pillows were available so was tolerable Driveway landscape may not belong to this owner but it was nearly impossible to see from our vehicle to back out. one of us would direct the other when moving our car

Great place !

Perfect location ! Super easy short walk to the beach. It’s a little longer walk to the strip of restaurants but not bad at all! We walked everywhere! Everything was super clean and the check in checkout process was a breeze.

Would stay again!

This is possibly the best place I’ve stayed at Folly! Super clean and tidy. Everything you need. Love that you can leave your car parked and loaf around downtown or walk to the beach. Great place.

Paradise by the Sea

First, I want to just state that the property owners (Sam and Katt) are awesome. They are the nicest and most pleasant people to rent from. They were always there when we had questions and don’t be surprised to run into them on beach! (We loved this part) This was our first time staying in Folly Beach. My boyfriend and I are from the northeast (Philly region) and we were blown away at the scenery and just real island feel folly beach gives. On top of all of this the chill shack made the experience just 10 times better! A block away from the beach, beautiful little yard, and a clean 1 bedroom unit is all we needed to have a vacation for the books. I give this place a 5 star rating simply because it is what every beach goers wants. My favorite part about this trip was the atmosphere of the island and the mood the chill shack put you in. And of course Very nice people, Sam and Katt. Overall great experience. And the many options they offer on their website, we can’t wait to stay in them in the future!!

I did not want to leave!

From the moment I arrived I knew I picked the perfect place. Clean, bright, close to the beach. It was a perfect little place for my boyfriend and I. Katherine was kind and accommodating. I was very sad to leave and will definitely be back!!

Great stay! Great location! Katt called us an hour before we arrived and said AIRBNB had double booked us but provided us another of their available rentals. A block closer to the beach! Win for us! Place was very cute, spotlessly clean and a great location! Thanks Katt!

We live on site so feel free to stop in for a cold one or advice on where to go hide out, or step out and kick up your dancin shoes. The sign over our door says PARTYville, but more often than not we flip it over so it reads NAPville. Sometimes one leads to the other. You know the drill........

All bars on Folly Beach are within walking distance. Plus the house was pink...and we decided to keep the color.We named it the RATHERSHACK because you'd rather be here than anyplace else in the world. We are 'second row' from the beach - which means a 45 second walk for you slow pokes, or 30 seconds for the average beach bum. The cottage we are advertising and scheduling here is the 1 BR bath, this one is called the ChillShack. Lots of charm and beach feel decor at no extra charge as this unit has all new beach-style furnishings, flooring, paint, new roof, and new air conditioning. All cottages have open floor plans for casual gatherings after your day at the beach. This Unit has a fully stocked kitchen utensils etc with microwave and dishwasher. The 1 BR features a large master with a queen bed, plenty of changing room. Super clean no allergens pet dander etc as we do not allow pets. Units have cable TV and WIFI. Off Street parking for 1 vehicles included. . Gas grill on site available for you grill masters out there. Riding bikes is one of our favorite things to do around around here, and look at all the sugar shacks, moderate homes, and homemade fishing piers plopped right next to the occasional McMansion. Architectural variety on every block. Folly Beach makes no judgment on who you are or where you come from...just bring your flip flops and come as you are.
