Welcome to our cozy covered wagon, nestled in the peaceful woods with beautiful views. This unique camping experience offers a one of a kind getaway for nature lovers seeking tranquility and relaxation. Step outside to enjoy the fresh air, go for a hike, or simply unwind by the camp fire. Escape the hustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature at our covered wagon on the hill top.

There are 3 wagons scattered throughout 40 acres. We've got marked trails & lights leading up to each wagon. We just ask that you are respectful to our other guests & don't walk into their space. There is plenty of other trails you can walk on. Theres a steep hill that gets you into the parking lot. We have maps available (with photos on listing) to guide you to your wagon & also of the trials you can walk.

TAKE NOTE:
* There’s a small walk to the wagon from the parking area.
* While we allow a pet. We ask that you only bring 1 pet due to the size of the wagon.
We also ask that they DO NOT climb onto any furniture or lay on any of our blankets. We do our best to keep fresh whites in this wagon & your corporation is greatly appreciated.

COMING SOON: We will have a common space with a mini store for you to purchase items, pickle ball court & much more. Think of it as a campground, but just a lot more privacy between the campsites.

Bedding for each Bed
Towels and Washcloths (# on reservation)
Roll of Paper Towels
Paper Plates and plastic utensils
2 Trash Bags
Coffee (Medium Roast) 2 packets
2 Rolls of toilet paper
Bath essentials - Body soap, shampoo & conditioner
We also have basics like - salt, pepper, oil, foil & baggies.
*But please be prepared to bring any additional supplies that you will need*

Bring your own flashlight and Umbrella!

NOTE: There's a very steep hill you will drive up coming into the driveway to your parking space.

In case you missed it this Wagon does not have a Tv.

There is a washer and dryer available for your use located in the shed. The trail leading to this is located a couple of yards down the driveway from your parking space.

NOTE: While we allow a pet. We ask that you only bring 1 pet due to the size of the wagon.
We also ask that they DO NOT climb onto any furniture or lay on any of our blankets. We do our best to keep fresh whites in this wagon & your corporation is greatly appreciated.

**Any items left at the home can be shipped, but we require a $25 fee in addition to the cost of shipping.

Beautiful View

We were very impressed with the Covered Wagon with a view. Had everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend. It was very clean and the view was breathtaking. Will definitely go again.

We enjoyed this unique stay. The wagon was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet. I suggest bringing your own pillows if you don’t like a firm, thick pillow. We would stay here again.

Perfect getaway

The camp was very clean and it was so nice that they're was fire wood for us to use. We couldn't figure out how to get the heat turned on and the property owners helped us. We had a great time!

AMAZING, UNIQUE & COZY

We came to the area to see a play at Sight & Sound Theatre and when I saw the pictures of this place, I knew it would be perfect. It was my mother-in-law, daughter and myself. It was peaceful, beautiful and cozy in every way. From sitting outside in the morning, watching the sunrise and listening to the many different species of birds to having a fire in the evening, watching the sunset. It really couldn't be more perfect. We will never forget this trip. Looking forward to booking the covered wagon again!

40th Anniversary Trip

It was an amazing experience staying in the covered wagon! We love John Wayne and this was the absolute perfect getaway! The countryside at its finest! Quiet and peaceful away from all the noise of a regular day! Wonderful trails and amazing views! We will definitely be returning next year!

Cute Getaway

Lovely little getaway that feels isolated but very close to amenities. The wagon looks rustic but has all the needed amenities including heat for a cold November weekend! Would recommend trying to find in daylight the first time but we managed after dark! Excellent communication with owners. Would recommend and come again!

It was a unique experience. We arrived at 3 and thought we would head out to dinner that evening. As soon as we got there my daughter did not want to leave sending me to the food store to get food to grill. It accomodated four of us with ease. Definitely recommend.

Covered Wagon with a view.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was super clean, the bed was really comfortable. It was super hot out and we were pleased that the air conditioning was on when we arrived and it was very comfortable inside the wagon. The only complaints we had were that there should be a larger sign on the road directing you up the very steep driveway that leads to the parking area. In addition, it is quite inconvenient that you need to park so far away from the wagon and carry all your belongings. Not sure why they don't provide parking right at the wagon. Overall, it was a very nice, unique get a way and would recommend to others.

This property is a beautiful & unique place to stay. Being my first time glamping, I definitely over pack with all camping gear, not knowing what to expect. It includes 1 king sized bed, a bunk bed for 2, eating area, & a comfortable sized bathroom with a working toilet, shower & sink. A microwave, all the camping utensils & cutlery you need are also provided.Outside there is a flattop grill & mini fridge with a freezer. The water pump outside was great for cleaning our pots & pans that we used to cook over the fire pit.Besides the accommodations. The site itself is beautiful. Great views of the valley below, & some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen.We will be back.

Peaceful, unique accommodations with a view.

My sisters and I stayed here during our "girls trip" to Lancaster County. The wagon was delightful, and well thought out. The beds were comfortable, the view beautiful (we saw hot air balloons soaring over the valley 2 of the days). We loved the uniqueness of staying in a covered wagon. The fire area was great for relaxing in the evenings after we came back from exploring surrounding areas, and the sounds of a country eveningwere delightful. It was very nice and cozy very clean we weathered the bad storm one nite and left the next day. one thing that was the wirst was having to carry our stuff along ways down the trail both of us are in our 70s and it was a little tuff lugging the stuff up snddown the trail

If you’re looking for a unique experience then this is for you!

Directions to property were a bit confusing. Lots of narrow back roads involved, but once you get there it’s great. Wish we knew there was a fridge located outside. Very pleased to see that there was. The bed was super comfortable and free firewood was really nice. The AC/heating units worked really well. There isn’t much you need to take other than food. Owners never responded to my questions but the maintenance man, Dan, was very friendly. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

We came to see Noah and stayed in a covered wagon. How great is that. There is so much to see in the area and the wagon was close to everything. It was a little hard to find the first time. Glad we found it before dark. Very clean. Host was very helpful.
