Poston / Byers Cabin-Appalachian Ski Mountain-Walk till skidåkning

Promenera till skidbackar och skridskoåkning !! Kvällsskidåkning !! Detta är en semester hyra hem i den vackra Blue Ridge Mountains i North Carolina. Våra tre nivå stuga har öppna tak, golv tall, på övervåningen loft, rymliga utanför däck och privat parkering. Perfekt för familj eller par (s). Vi är bekvämt beläget på en privat väg i Appalachian Ski Mountain, utanför US 321, mellan Blowing Rock och Boone. I närheten finns Grandfather Mountain, Linville, Banner Elk och Beech berget. Vår stuga är lättillgängligt från Blue Ridge Parkway och bara några minuter från shopping och restauranger. Information om områdets många sevärdheter och evenemang lämnas vid stugan för våra gäster.
Upplev varje säsong i "High Country" ...
På vintern skidåkning och skridskoåkning är inom 300 yards (gångavstånd)! Det finns också kvällsskidåkning. En lyxig braskamin med utsikt över elden håller hytten mysiga.
Under våren slappna av och ta i den underbara klimatförändringarna.
På sommaren fly värmen och njuta av den svalare bergstemperaturer.
Fall lövverk är spektakulär med Blue Ridge Parkway bara
minuter bort. Oavsett vilken årstid, hittar du mycket att se och se här i Höglandet.
Tyvärr, inga husdjur.

Cute Cabin

Dated but very charming. Only complaints are trash disposal and key policy. You have to mail keys back to owner. You must dispose of all trash after check-out. Left on Sunday and trash dump sites are all closed on Sundays.

Cottage in the mountains

The cottage was very clean and cute. Very close to Appalachian State. We definitely would stay here again. The fall colors were perfect but would love to come back in the winter to ski.

Comforts of home

Our family had a fantastic stay at this cozy ski cottage! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the slopes, which made it so easy to hit the mountain without any hassle. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the equipment we needed to cook our meals, which made it feel like home. While the house isn't extravagant, it was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The vibe was warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a laid-back, convenient, and comfortable base for their ski trip!

Enjoyed our mini vacation! Great family time!

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend at this Chalet. So cozy with plenty of room. All of the amenities and close to restaurants, shopping, and fun activities for the children. Would love to stay here again.

Great family ski getaway

This was SO close to App Ski Mtn front gate, absolutely adorable property. The driveway was a bit steep, but no issues for my small SUV. Conveniently located between two small cities for night activities and dinners. Would absolutely stay again! Great for the skiing trip.

Great Mountain Property, Only Steps to the Slopes

This property is as advertised, within walking distance of App Ski Mtn. The wood stove is amazing and heats the entire living area very quickly, which is great after a day out in the snow. We came to visit my son who attends App State and this was a perfect location. We would definitely stay here again, when we vist. Only complaints would be that you have to deal with your own trash removal, not sure why this isn't part of cleaing fee, and you have to mail the key back to the owner. I have stayed in many VRBO's and have never done this before.

Great cabin walking distance to Skiing/ice skating

Great house with wood fireplace and plenty of room. Very clean and stocked with all of the kitchen pots,pans,dishes you need. Owner very friendly and responsive.

Ski trip

We had a wonderful long weekend staying in the cabin. It was spacious enough for all of us, cabin was well stocked with necessities we may have forgotten and location was perfect- walking distance to the ski lodge. Will definitely return to stay

Great location

Cabin was clean and as advertised. Third bedroom is quite small but adequate. Third bathroom is in basement so not the best option for the rooms on the main and second floor. Owner was very easy to deal with and communicated well.Great location. Old fashion key lock and only one set of keys so a bit of a hassle for a group. Would recommend a keyless entry lock.

Great location

Rented for our sons graduation at Appalachian State. Cozy house and the kitchen has every cooking accesory you can think of. Peaceful location. You can see App ski mountain from the living room window. Plemty of room for the whole family.

Nice getaway

Cute house. Ceilings and rooms were a little low in some places so maybe not a great fit big and tall people. But we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Charlotte was great to work with.

Great summer getaway

This little cabin was perfect for an end of summer adventure for myself and my teenagers. We loved the rustic feel of the house and the cool mountain temps. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, cookware, and dishes. The location is convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk, and we got a big kick out of hearing the Tweetsie Railroad whistle. Clear communication from the owner. Would definitely recommend.

Great weekend

We had a great weekend at the cabin. It was easy to find, and an easy drive to Blowing Rock and Boone. Note: The beds are all twin/single beds except the one on the main floor. And the bathroom upstairs and in the basement are tiny. But it’s very nice having 3 bathrooms! The deck is lovely for enjoying coffee in the mornings
