Spacious home in great location!

This house was perfect for our family getaway.Plenty of space (parking, beds, bathrooms)for the 8 of us. We loved the rooftop deck to watch sunsets! Another plus- we parked and then walked everywhere. A variety of restaurants, bars and the beach were all a short walk away. Our host Paul was quick to respond to any questions. Thank you! I would recommend this house!

Beautiful Home!

We just came back from a Labor Day weekend visit. The home was absolutely beautiful and super spacious for having our family stay. The location was great, close to restaurants and the beach. We cannot wait to come again for a visit. Paul was so communicative which we so appreciated. Cannot recommend enough!

Perfect stay for a wedding weekend

This house had everything we needed and was very spacious. Paul's place was the perfect spot for a group traveling in for a wedding weekend. One minor feedback for future stays: the house alarm chirped all weekend and was a bit distracting; otherwise, no issues.

Carnevale Adventures

We were two families with young adult children. House was spacious and ample room for parking which was a plus and was within walking distance to the beach. Enjoyed the roof deck and large TVs. Owner was very responsive to all questions. Would recommend the house.

Great Place!! Although a few cleanliness issues.

Kitchen pots & pans were dirty and greasy. Also serving dishes and plates, etc. not clean. Needed to wash some things before using. Carpet on stairs was sandy.

Fantastic Family Friendly Property

What a beautiful home! Plenty of space for me, my husband, our kids and their kids -4 bedrooms and baths plus the outside shower, along with lots of deck options and TVs equaled tons of options for everyone. Proximity of home to the beach was convenient, lots of restaurant options within easy walking distance, and central location on island meant no town was too far. Well appointed and clean. The owner’s pride is evident throughout.

Beautiful home

We very much enjoyed this property. High quality furniture, beautiful decks, probably the best supplied kitchen i have ever experienced in a rental. Was very convenient with plenty of parking. Only nitpick would be that it was end of the season and there were a few minor issues caused by previous guests that Paul was aware of and was taking care of as soon as the season was over. Paul was very responsive via phone and email and very good to deal with.

A house with potential but also some shortfalls

THE GOOD-The location is close to the bridge, beach, and the layout of the house with the multiple decks made the stay comfortable with 8 plus one infant. THE BAD and THE UGLY-My wife and I arrived at 2PM 30 minutes prior to checkin to find the house locked and the cleaning service gone. As we went up the steps we could see sand from the previous guests. The room with 2 queen beds had a ceiling fan missing a blade and when it was turned on looked like it was going to fall on the floor.One of the beds was broken and unuseable. All the beds looked like they weren't made as the quilts were haphazardly tossed on the beds.This gave us a feeling that the home was quickly cleaned. We also noted that 2 additional fans were not working. There was a DISGUSTING shag rug on the upper level living room floor. So we contacted Paul who had the cleaning service return. They called him to confirm our concerns. Since we were going to place our linens on the bed there was nothing they needed to do and we suggested they go home to their children. Later in the day as my children arrived from NY and Delaware we began to find additional cleaning problems with the house. An empty water bottle behind the night table in one of the queen bedrooms, a box with several water bottles in the pantry, and bottles cans and wrappers on the deck off the kitchen stuffed into the corner. Our grandson who is 16 mos old found dirt and toys under the couches, and our granddaughter had an allergy attack which we suspect was from the shag carpet. When we went to bath the kids we found mold in the bath tub near the washing machine some of which my wife cleaned. The kids were bathed upstairs in the master BR.Paul said he would be down on Monday to replace the fans but was caught in the rain storm and went back home. We never heard from him again regarding the issue. Paul did order a new rug which came on Thursday afternoon at 2 PM and my son and son-in law moved the couched to lay it on the floor.There are beautiful wood floors so it was surprising that there were rugs to begin with. Yes the house has AC however we are all accustomed to sleeping with ceiling fans.Yes the house has lots of potential and we understand it is a rental property but it is the owners responsibility to make sure it is in good condition when you are paying close to 6K for the week. This is the first time we had the whole family together for a week and we made the best of it under the circumstances. Not returning!!

Very comfortable!

Feels like home! This house has everything you need to have a lovely vacation. We looked forward to coming every year. Even though we bought our own home in LBI we still miss it.

We keep returning!!

We have rented this home a few times now. It's perfect and exactly what we are looking for. Close to the beach, large home for guests to visit and a fully loaded kitchen where we prepare large meals. When there have been disconnects, Paul is very responsive to resolve the issue. Last year he had a brand new Weber grill delivered the next day fully assembled and ready to use.

Beautiful home

We have rented this property a number of times and love it. We especially love the two master bedrooms with private bathrooms and the bedroom with two queen size beds. The layout really works for us and we are even able to have friends come and stay with us for an overnight because of the extra beds. The roof deck is beautiful and we have happy hour and watch the sunset every night. Paul has been very accommodating and replies immediately if there is an issue. He even purchased a brand new grill when we told him we were having trouble lighting the existing one. It was delivered the next day! We love the kitchen since we cook every night and the big dining table is perfect. We did have one year that the kitchen was not cleaned properly, but Paul gave us a discount for the inconvenience. We are looking forward to renting again this summer.

Great location!

I have rented this property with two other families for the past 3 years. The location is great and a short walk to the beach. The home is comfortable and the layout meets our needs. The sunsets on the rooftop deck are amazing. We will be renting next year too.

Not A Five Star Review

I usually don't take the time to leave a review but I couldn't let this slide. First the positive, the house is beautiful and very roomy with a short walk to the beach. The negative, we paid EXTRA for a cleaning service, the owner Paul said because the house was so large. I stayed at large homes before and never paid an additional fee.I had to agree to it but when we arrived the place was NOT CLEAN. Popcorn and cans on the deck, crumbs on the counter, sand toys thrown in the back yard. We actually had to clean the place before bringing in our suitcases so we could finally relax and get settled. On the second day the dryer stopped working and the tv downstairs also wasn't working. I called Paul and he did respond quickly but he never fixed the problem. We had to go to a laundromat to do our laundry.With the TV I started sitting on the phone with the help desk and after 15 minutes hung up. I'm on vacation, who wants to deal with that. Lastly, I had to wait two months for my deposit back after many phone calls and e-mails. Paul the owner needs to take better care of renters needs. When your spending a lot of money to go away on vacation the last thing you want to do is worry about cleaning and fixing broken things. Sorry but I just had share this.

Love this house!

This was our third time on this beautiful property and my family truly enjoys it. Our family is large but the levels afford privacy for all. The amenities are top of the line and the kitchen is fully equipped with state of the art appliances. Decor is stylish and comfortable. There is never a moment in this beach house where you feel you are roughing it! Quite the contrary, its upscale and lovely. Location is great, close to everything. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Paul!

First time to LBI and what a wonderful surprise!!

What a Place!! , The pictures on the site are exactly how gorgeous and meticulous the home is!! The decor, appliances . Bedrooms etc , Wow Everything was great!, Location , Beach and Stores and restaurants too! It was very easy to get around . Had the grandchildren with us for our first trip to LBI and what memories we will have !! Paul is an amazing owner ! He was readily available for any of our questions. He called right back and helped us through! The entire house is just over the top literally, as we spent a lot of time on the third deck ,, what an awesome time ! Have recommended to several friends and family!! Thank You Paul!! hope to see you soon... We will be back! MEL in PA

Beautiful beach house

It was wonderful experience staying at this beautiful beach house. 4 bedrooms, beautiful kitchen/living room area, superb kitchen equipment, very clean and comfortable. The owner Paul was easy to work with, speedy response always. Definitely looking for next time stay, it was an amazing gateway!

Property provides great space, luxury, location and close to the Beach. Ship Bottom is a wonderful quaint town located in the middle of the Island for easy on off driving during peak season. The beaches in Ship Bottom are some of the widest beaches on Long beach Island providing family beach fun in the sun. Tennis, Theme Park (Amusement Park), Shopping, Sightseeing, Restaurants, Rafting, Sailing, Boating, Water-skiing, Para-sailing, Jet Skiing, Shelling, Swimming, Snorkeling/Diving, Surfing, Windsurfing, Biking, Wildlife Viewing, Fishing, Fitness Center/Gym, Health/Beauty Spa, Basketball Court, Antiquing, Cinemas/Movie Theaters, Live Theater, Miniature golf, Shuffleboard. All minutes from Ship Bottom.

There are at least 10 restaurants (pizza to fine dining) within walking distance, and aside from these, there are 4 breakfast places, and the best bagel shop on the Island! Grocery, beach-supply, and hobby stores, as well as mini-golf are also a walk away. No car required from this location.
