We had a great stay. Jennifer made the check-in and check-out very easy with excellent and prompt communication. This is a great location on the island, not as busy as other spots. The beach is also not as populated and easy access. The ocean views from the house are excellent. I would highly recommend this house for a family.

Girls Weekend!

We had a great time staying at this beachfront house for a much needed girls weekend! Multiple porches & beautiful views of the ocean. Definitely would stay again.

Gorgeous location

Amazing location, views can’t be beat and easiest beach location. Didn’t see a spa/hot tub anywhere after searching for the whole vacation which is listed on the amenities but otherwise perfect

This was a perfect spot for a beach vacation! You can not beat the location. Stunning views of beach and bay side sunsets. You can even walk to the corner for a snack and ice cream. The bring your own linens policy was new to me but I understand it's standard for many rentals here. Be prepared bring your own pillows and blankets or use a service. Would def stay again! Thanks Again Jennifer for sharing your lovely home!

Last minute booking

Couldn’t beat the location of being right on the beach and in walking distance to some restaurants, ice cream, and mini golf places. Would stay again because of the convenience of the location. Pictures are true to what you get. Property should complain to cleaning service they use, definitely need to do a better job.

Exceeded our expectations!

My family stayed here for a week in July. It was the perfect location right on the beach with amazing views from the top deck and rooftop deck. Neighborhood was friendly and quiet. We had no issues or reason to contact the host during our stay!

We loved the home! it worked well for us because we had our adult children and grandson on the first level and my husband and i slept on the 3rd level. This way the 2nd level with kitchen and living room was the community area. We did not disturb each other if we were sleeping. Can't wait to go back next year!

Wonderful Location Great accommodation

There was 9 of us including an infant and a 2 year old for the Thanksgiving week.More than enough beds, perfect bathrooms and the kitchen was stocked well! 3 floors of bedrooms allowed privacy and enough space that the adults could make noise while hanging in the living area and not wake the kids. The host was super responsive and very kind. I hope to stay again soon!

Spring getaway

The location and view are excellent. Ocean front and close to all kinds of shops. We brought our own bikes which helped. Indoor lounging area is small with just one small couch and washer/dryer is tiny, but overall a terrific experience.

Wonderful, no stress stay

Property was in perfect spot-so nice to be ON the beach. It was clean, comfortable, easy walk to Italian ice, the bay, coffee and candy shops and mini golf. There are three floors which was not an issue for our family but those with mobility issues should note (the house description also includes this note). The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating and we all enjoyed our few days ending summer on the beach!

The location is lovely; however, when we arrived it was 90 degrees in the house and the thermostat was not working - horrible first night. The owner had a repair man come the next morning so that problem was resolved. The house was not clean enough for the price. Not enough parking. We left a day early.

Great weekend in LVI

Gorgeous views of the ocean. Multiple decks with easy access to the house. We were right next to the beach path. The beach was quieter than other parts of LBI, which was perfect for us. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and had plenty room for us. The living area was updated and spacious. The kitchen was super clean. There is a separate AC unit on the 3rd floor that kept us cool during the hot days and night. Jennifer was very responsive, even late at night, when we had a small issue. It was much appreciated. I would definitely stay again.

Hot & Dirty

This owner does not care. Upon arrival we determined they the HVAC did not function sufficiently to cool the property. The other was notified. She claimed she called an HVAC service without a call back several times. Basically we were told nothing she could do. She clearly knew this was a problem before renting. I demanded a refund and she flatly refuse. We have a miserable stay. The house was as hot as 80 degrees inside. We had an infant and new mother in our party and this irresponsible landlord could care less. Next time tell renters the HVAC doesn't work.

Hi, Frank, thanks for your time to write the review. I am very sorry that the AC broke down during your stay. You checked in on Saturday, and I was notified Tuesday around noon about the AC not working. The AC technician showed up after 5pm the same day and determined the AC is broken. I was shocked! The AC was installed just over 5 years ago (normal lifetime of an AC unit is 10 years). If I had known earlier, I would have gotten it replaced under the manufacturer's 5-year warranty, but it had just expired. I immediately called two different AC companies to ask them to replace the unit ASAP, but unfortunately they were too busy to replace the unit in the same week. As a reference for future renters, while the windows or doors are open, the AC may not be able to cool down the house. It's best to close the windows and doors while using the AC. Also, try not to set it lower than 70 degrees; this may overwork the AC and cause it to freeze. I think one possible reason for the AC's early failure is that it's been stressed throughout its lifetime.

Disappointed for the price

The two good things I can say is Jennifer is very responsive when I tried to contact her. The other is the location. You are right on the beach, and the decks are great. Now for the negative: Be warned, the property description doesn’t mention bedding and towels are not included. It apparently is mentioned in the contract which I missed. The living space is quite small for hanging out, and the Living room furniture was tired and worn. If you like to cook, and we do, the kitchen is poorly equipped.

Disappointing condition- misrepresented , dirty and poor conditions.

The location is amazing, the views and beach are wonderful and lots to do all around this property location. We booked for a short rental- three nights mid September. The house pictures are not up to date. The home is not in good shape and maintenance not done. The furniture was worn, filthy and uncomfortable. The AC on the first two floors didn’t work. The wine fridge didn’t work , no kitchen towels , basic spices and herbs. There is a very moldy smell throughout the home. The carpets are not clean. We found sand and dirty conditions through out like it hadn’t been cleaned between last quest and a deep cleaning is long over due. We arrived at 5:00 pm . The paint is in bad shape and in areas there is paint flaking off the walls most likely due to water content in the house. There are no basic things supplied in the house to make it comfortable . We have rented many homes and have never seen one in this shape at this price point. I have not contacted Jennifer since our stay was short and we made the best of it. We had a big schedule celebrating a family birthday and didn’t want to disturb our plans with negativity about this home. It was what it was. We are landlords ourselves and we are home building contractors. This Rental needs updating both with the home and with all furnishings. Hopefully Jennifer will not be offended by this review and take some of the rents collected and invest in the home to make her home as Advertised.

ABSOLUTELY not recommended!

PAYMENT: once I submitted the payment, the owner emailed me back by adding ~ $400 to the total cost (although I was given the option to cancel the reservation). HOUSE LAYOUT: although the house can accommodate 12 people, this is due to every spot being crammed with a bedroom/bed, giving a claustrophobic feeling and maximized charge based simply on number of beds, rather than quality of the space. Pictures on the App are misleading and don't represent this issue at all, making the house appear to be more spacious than it is. living room - ceiling is so low, that the fan can chop your head off if you are tall person or just barely lift your arm; VERY LOW and dangerous. The living room is also so small that your face is practically right up against the TV screen. AC - there is one AC controlling the 1st and 2nd floor (3d floor has split AC). Due to window locations and house design, there is no way to set the temp to have both levels at the same temp. There are at least 6-7deg or more difference between the two levels. Either way too cold or too hot. ACCOMMODATION - nothing, and I mean NOTHING is set up to make your stay pleasant: no place or trays to put soap, shampoo or anything in the shower but on the floor. Even toilet paper is missing. All showers are with the simplest cheapest shower head with only one setting. Sheets, blankets, pillows were also not included. Although was said ahead of time, Imagine having to carry 12 sets of bed sheets, towels...

Terrific location, easy beach access, beautiful home! Owner requested we take trash from previous tenants to curb, and there were a few dishes put away dirty. Bathrooms needed attention as well, so I think if inspection was done before our stay, items were missed. Also the sofa, A.K.A. - 4th queen bed is remarkably unsuitable for comfort.

Beautiful House

Jennifer was awesome at responding to my emails on a timely basis. The house was absolutely perfect for our family. I would love for some of the money to go back into "freshening" up the house by; updating the furniture and stocking the kitchen with more glassware, utensils, etc. It would've been nice to be able to use the wine cooler. It was also difficult trying to figure out the television. We did have a wonderful time. Thank you!

Lovely view and great location

Loved the stay here! as all reviews have stated the views of sunrise and sunset were amazing. Loved the master bedroom which offers views of the water. we were 5 adults and 2 kids and this was right size- would have been more difficult if our whole party of 10 were to join. 4th bedroom had 2 twin beds and the top is too close to ceiling and as such would be uncomfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and as it was during Covid- we were not sure what options we would have to eat out- so was very adequate. Access to the beach was very easy . Jennifer our host was very respsonsive to all our needs! would return again if we decide to do so.
