This property was the original inspiration for the company Placidity Inc. This home IS Placidity! It is the perfect peaceful get away for small families and friends on huge double lot property. We set it up so everyone has the ability to be in their own space to truly bring placidity into their life. The area has tons of wildlife, including Bald eagles, Sandhill Cranes, hundreds of other birds, turtles, deer, and many variety of edible fish. We have a modern touch on the interior with a stealth yet inviting exterior. Plenty of room to entertain your family with the huge kitchen area and plenty of beds. We have lots of games on property although we love to spend our days soaking up the bliss of the lake on the patio. We have a kayak available for you to use or boats are rentable in our cute boutique style town. We have tons of local recommendations for you to enjoy an incredible stay with us. You will also have included access to the local gym “The Wolves Den” in downtown Lake Placid on your stay. We are here to provide you with an excellent experience, and truly embody Respect, Courtesy, and Quality ! Come join us at Placidity!

Wonderful property

Fantastic, well equipped house. Plenty of room to spread out. The host is excellent and attentive. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Loving Life at Placidity

Everything about the experience of staying at Placidity was amazing... From the first contact from our Host, Moses to leaving the property at the end of our stay, everything was flawless. Moses couldn't have been anymore gracious and welcoming. He met our party at the house on our first day, showed us around, and even had eggs, snacks and OJ waiting for us in the fridge. The house itself is amazing as well. With plenty of living space, bathrooms and other great amenities. We used the grill outside both nights and were offered the kayak (however we did not use it). Most of our time was spent outside on the spacious patio overlooking the incredible view of the lake. We would definitely book again in the future and will look forward to working with Moses again.

I am from St Croix in the Virgin Islands. Love hosting as my family grew up having fantastic events together. I enjoy boating, scuba diving, hiking,, traveling, house remodeling, and music.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This area on Lake placid is particularly peaceful. There is a huge area of woods behind the house and the wild life loves to congregate on our property. Its amazing.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Set back off the road, on a very spacious double plot of land. Every room has a beautiful view outside the house, and the inside is well cared for and will certainly make you want to stay longer! I wish I could stay there all the time!
