Historic Ocean Express bondgård ligger på 7 lugna trädbevuxna tunnland intill Camden Hills State Park. spår kan nås från tvärs över gatan och trailhead är i slutet av vägen förbi vingården. Byggt år 1911 renoverades huset 2003, men behåller sin historiska charm. Huset är ljust och luftigt i hela. Det finns 3 sovrum på övervåningen med vardera en dubbelsäng. En bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet rymmer ytterligare 2 personer. En dubbelsäng i två storlekar sover ytterligare en person i lekrummet. Ett badrum på varje våning och fullt utrustat kök med 5 brännare och tallrik krukor och köksredskap för att göra matlagningen roligare. . Litet skafferi med 2: a handfat och litet kylskåp. Kok middag på 5-brännare gas spis eller grilla ute på bakdäck medan du tittar på solnedgången över åkrarna. Läs på morgonsolen medan du svänger på verandegången. Gå till toppen av Mount Batty, njut av en spektakulär utsikt över bukten. Fallen lövverk är vacker. Det finns miles av snöskoter och längdskidspår över gatan i Camden Hills State Park, en kort halv mil promenad upp Youngtown Road är Cellar Door Winery. Denna vackra vingård är öppen för provsmakningar och promenader runt marken. Inom 30 minuter i båda riktningarna är städerna Belfast och Rockland. Besök deras hamnar och butiker, restauranger, kaféer, gå 1 mil till den historiska Rockalnd Breakwater Lighthouse, eller besök Farnsworth Museum. Antikaffärer finns i överflöd längs vägen. Great stay in Lincolnville

We had a wonderful visit To your home. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and really enjoyed the game room with ping-pong, darts, and Fuzball.

2024 Lincolnville stay

Extremely hot week but the house was very well equipped with fans. Nice front and back porches for sitting and having morning coffee and planning our day. An overall good experience.

Quiet farmhouse true vibe

Our stay was nice. The one drawback was Maine ( as was the rest of the coast ) was experiencing a brutal heatwave. The house does not have A/C and even with fans it was insufferable. Had the weather been normal Maine weather it would have been perfect. I had my dog with me and ticks were very present. Make sure your dog is treated before arrival. Camden is just a short drive away as well as some small beaches and refreshing water play. The house has a large ample parking area for at least three vehicles.

Lovely location

The house was spacious but not luxurious by any stretch. The bed linens were sub par and offering 1 towel per adult for a 3 night stay was bad. Yes, there was a washer dryer but we didn’t go on vacation to do laundry. The location was quiet.

Much needed Family time and we could bring our dogs

This beautiful old farmhouse is just amazing so much space welcoming a really beautiful piece of property we truly enjoyed sitting on the front porch for coffee and on the back porch later in the day to watch the sunset. The bonus room was and awesome space for the two dogs to frolic together and we would not have to worry about them being in the main house it reminded all of us of what it must have been like to live in that era a really great place to spend time

Authentic rural farmhouse exceeded our expectations and made everyone happy in our large group.

The farmhouse was absolutely perfect for us: spacious private bedrooms with lovely rural views accommodated three couples; plus separate sleeping quarters for two families' kids in two rooms downstairs in a pull-out sofa and a day bed. The wonderful huge dining table accommodated 12 people easily, and on occasion 15 when we had visitors join us for meals. The kitchen was exceptionally well provided with cooking and serving ware for a crowd. (We didn't realize that the broiler was under the main oven at first :) All the bedrooms had ceiling fans and two window ventilation, so we did not suffer from heat.The game room was just separate enough that we could monitor the happily engaged kids without being intruded upon. There is a great outdoor play area for young kids, and table games perfect for kids and adults. The front porch was a delight: we sat out there rain or shine, singing and playing music. The flower beds were lovely, including an herb garden! It's on a low-traffic country road, with easy access to Megunticook Lake and wonderful lake swimming and kayaking. We picked plentiful wild blueberries up nearby Maiden's Cliff Rd. right off Youngtown Rd, on a ridge with beautiful views. Fantastic! There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, so for the large number of people we had, it took a bit of thoughtful cooperation, but it was fine. The special charm of this house, which felt informal, authentic and at home with the country setting, made us all happy.

Beautiful farm house in a year location

We loved our stay and had a great time. The property has a great well stocked kitchen, nice yard and just overall a lot of room to relax. The location is near several nice towns. Would love to stay again in the future.

Everything needful for a family vacation. The house was roomy, the beds were divinely comfortable, and being so close to beaches, hiked and birth Camden and Belfast was amazing. Owls at night, eagles overhead, a games room and places to curl up and read… this is a marvelous house with caring hosts.

Our New England Trip

This charming and cozy farmhouse was absolutely perfect for our stay. It was just a short drive in any direction for us to visit several different towns and cities. Charming House

The house is spacious and comfortable with many amenities. We enjoyed the green outdoor space which is very nicely maintained. The sunny porch and shaded deck provided opportunities for quiet relaxation. The house’s proximity to trails and short drive to Camden State Park are a definite plus. We visited the towns of Camden, Belfast, Rockland and even a day trip to Bar Harbour. Everyone in our party enjoyed the stay.

Right out of a Stephen King novel….total Maine experience

We loved the house. Just what we were looking for- older, spook factor, traditional Maine. Located centrally close to several coastal towns that we explored. House itself had all the amenities. Winery down the street was nice. Looking forward to coming back to explore Maine again.

Maine Vacation

The back yard is picture perfect and several evenings we were entertained by a deer that was feeding. The house was larger than we needed, but was pleasant place to stay.

Excellent getaway!

The house and property is amazing. It is an older home full of character and in pristin conditions. Very clean! The location is very convenient for going hiking or chilling in the town. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to others!
