Relax in the warmth of our inviting retreat, The Blue Heron, where family memories are made. This fully equipped home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths Accommodating 8 guests comfortably. Some of the features of this coastal sanctuary are:
Bedrooms:
King Bed with attached full bath - this room allows you to unwind and relax in quiet comfort.

Queen Bed - this restful room has ample space and comfort and includes an additional single cot

Full Bed - this cozy room is quiet and tranquil and includes an additional single cot
All beds come with linens

Baby/Toddler - travel crib and booster seat available

Living room: unwind on the Queen Sofa, offering additional sleeping space and a smart tv with Wi-Fi or family game night.

The Dining Room allows you to gather up to 8 guests comfortably at the family size table. The well equipped kitchen allows guests to cook their favorite dishes or grill outside on the large grill.

The outside covered deck is perfect for dining or soaking up the coastal breeze with a cocktail. The large yard allows you to sit by the fire pit in the evening or play a game of corn hole.

The home is close by to several activities and many are within walking distance to the home. Dining is plentiful and close by. Big Fish, Cedar Land and See, Bethany Diner, Ropewalk and Bethany Beach Brewing to name a few. Downtown Bethany Beach is a 5 minute drive away. This quiet town has a family friendly Boardwalk with lots of activities, shops and dining for everyone. Swim at the town's beach access or nearby at the Indian River Inlet. There are two Coastal Golf courses less than a 5 minute drive where you can tee off for a full 18 rounds or just practice your drive. Fishing and Crabbing is available in the Indian River bay with it's access around the corner. If you are nature buff, you can practice your skills at James Farm Ecological reserve. This reserve has nature trails, kayaking and swimming in the Indian River Bay.

Property was perfect for our stay! Very clean and great location to lots of good restaurants. Highly recommend the Salty Rim about 10 minutes away from property.

Very clean and perfect location

My family and I stayed for a long weekend and were very pleased with how clean the house was. I was very impressed with the nice sized closets in each room and dressers so we could hang up/store our clothing to get it out of the suitcases. The beds were all cozy as well! The location is quiet and just a short drive to the beaches and boardwalks Thank you for hosting us!

Great beach home!

Great location
super location to groceries, beer, ice cream, restaurants and the beach! The home is well maintained and has everything you need for your stay! The hostess is very accommodating. We had a family of 5 and didn’t feel crowded at all. The back porch was our main hang out

We had a wonderful time. House is very clean in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the ocean. Maureen is a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Perfect stay

My family and I enjoyed an extended weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed the property. It’s in a convenient location but still far enough away to enjoy the quiet. The property had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back.
