This property was by far one of the nicest places to stay: clean, good price, large and close to the town of Nauvoo which was our destination. Kathy left fresh eggs, water and homemade banana bread for us which were totally unexpected.

One of the best places I've stayed. Very open and big. Couch was extremely comfortable. Kitchen actually had decent stuff to use if you want to cook! Both bedrooms were very spacious.

We had a great time at Rusty Acres. It is on a beautiful property, was very clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and it was so nice to have a washer and dryer. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. And they even left some food in the fridge for us, including eggs from their chickens. They were so kind to start a fire for us in the fire pit too, which was so fun to use.

Peaceful Surroundings

Comfortable, homey feeling in a perfectly decorated residence. All our needs were taken care of. Quiet surroundings after busy days. We felt well taken care of during a short blackout during a storm (they have a generator). Friendly, available hosts. Loved hearing the birds in the early mornings.

Trip to see grandpa

The place was spacious and comfortable. The best part were the beds. They were extra large and very cozy. I liked the decor with the old radios. Never did figure out the tv but didn't need it anyway. Thank you for providing such wonderful accommodations.

Thoughtful and detailed unique decor

Impressed with the convenience and cleanliness of the apartment. Thoughtful mind with fully equipped baby and toddler gear. Even though we didn’t have baby/toddler during our stay but the place is very kids friendly. Unique room decor with rustic theme to tight up with the apartment name, Rusty Acres. Kitchen is clean and fully equipped as well as fully stocked up. Very mindful and detailed thoughts. Management is friendly and easy to communicate. NO safety issue. Very secure place. Only one very minor suggestion to the management is please put a larger mirror above bathroom vanity. The mirror will have a better function as well as more proportional and aesthetic decor. After all, we had a very pleasant stay and will highly recommend others to stay in Rusty Acres.
