Located in Black Mountain's Village of Cheshire, this exquisite new home and the community of Cheshire are a dream. With 3 bedrooms with ensuite baths including 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and a loft with 2 fold-out twin sleeper chairs, this stylish property offers a comfortable respite for up to 6 guests. The kitchen is equipped with the latest in modern appliances and is well stocked with cooking supplies and serving utensils. Kickback, relax, and enjoy the mountain views as well as everything Black Mountain, Asheville and our enchanting community of Cheshire has to offer.
Enjoy your visit to Black Mountain in our 2-story, newly constructed home. There are three bedrooms with ensuite full bathrooms and an open floor plan that allows for groups to gather in comfort and style.
BEDROOMS
Groups of up to 6 adults can sleep comfortably in our home. There are 3 full bedrooms, one on the first floor and two on the 2nd floor, each with an ensuite full bathroom and ample storage space in the closets for your clothing. The 1st floor bedroom has a king size bed and the upstairs bedrooms have queen beds. We have a loft area with two chairs that fold out into twin beds for additional sleeping space that is ideal for children. All bed and bathroom linens are provided. We have a portable crib that can be set up if needed.
BATHROOMS & LAUNDRY
There are three full bathrooms - one for each bedroom and an additional half bath on the 1st floor. The first floor ensuite bath has a soaker tub. We've got you covered with towels, soap, hair dryers, makeup mirrors and iron/ironing board. There’s also a washer and dryer on the first floor complete with detergent in case you need it!
RELAX AND CHILL
The living room has comfortable seating and a large 70-inch smart TV that has streaming access for Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. (with your own logins). We have a front porch and a side patio for relaxing and enjoying the views.
DINING IN
The fully-stocked kitchen has all of the essentials to cook and enjoy meals together. There's a refrigerator, gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, cookware, dishes, utensils, drinking glasses, wine glasses, wine opener and more. We’ve also provided a standard 14-cup coffee maker and a Keurig with a starter supply of coffee & sweeteners as we know how important this morning ritual is. The dining table seats 6 and our kitchen island seats 4 making mealtime a breeze. We have a gas grill on the side patio and grilling tools for your use.
WORK
If you're in town for work or just need to stay caught up while you are vacationing, rest assured we've got high-speed WiFi and two laptop friendly workspaces for your use. One space is in the 2nd floor office and the other is a desk is in a 2nd floor bedroom. The office has a 14” computer monitor that you can extend your laptop screen to for ease of work. The monitor has a HDMI to video port cable but, if your computer requires an adapter to accept a video cable, you’ll need to bring an adapter.
FAMILIES WELCOME
Families are always welcome in our home! There's a large bathtub in the 1st floor bathroom to make bath-time easier, and the washer & dryer will certainly come in handy with little ones. We have a portable crib and sheet that can be set up if needed. Our loft area on the 2nd floor has comfortable seating for kids to watch TV or play games. We have two oversize chairs that fold out into twin beds for extra sleeping space. Mattress pads, fitted sheets and blankets are provided for this use. We also have a basket of toys and some board games to add to your family fun!
ACCESS
We have smart locks with keypad entry for easy check-in with a unique access code for your stay. Guests have private access to the entire house. Your host and cohost are just a text or call away and we will respond quickly if you have a question or need anything during your stay.
EV CHARGING
We have a Level 2 Universal Charging Station made by Tesla, with an integrated J1772 adapter to conveniently charge any electric vehicle. The charging unit is wall mounted inside of the garage, is wired for 48-amp output, and has a 24-foot cable length.
PARKING
We strongly encourage parking up to two vehicles in the garage of our home as the driveway is shared among three homes and any vehicles parked there will block access to their garages. There is a small parking lot across the street from our home in the village center that will conveniently accommodate additional vehicles.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Standard check-in time is 4:00 - 9 PM, and check-out is 11:00 AM. In some cases it may be possible to arrange an earlier check-in or later check-out. If this creates hardship for our cleaners there may be an additional charge for early or late checkout.
Our maximum occupancy is firm and we cannot accommodate groups larger than 8.
Our home is on a narrow lot and we must ask you to respect the people living on either side of us. NO LOUD NOISE after 10 PM, NO PARTIES, NO EXCEPTIONS.
We have security cameras on the exterior of the home located above both the front and garage entrances. There are—of course—no cameras or recording devices inside the home.
We have a strict NO PETS policy.
We care about our community and love our neighbors! We are proud to offer a living wage to all service personnel who assist in running our property. We abide by all local and state regulations governing short-term rentals, including the remittance of hotel occupancy and sales & use taxes.
Your hosts, Lisa and Ryan are available through the app or by phone call or text. We prefer to keep all communication through the app for documentation purposes however, in the event of an urgent need, please don’t hesitate to call or text us. Our phone numbers are posted in the house along with local emergency numbers. Please let us know if you need anything during your stay.

I am from Louisville, Ky and we still have our primary residence there. I love to experience new cities and outdoor adventures. Biking, golf, and hiking are some of my favorite outdoor sports that I often enjoy with my husband, Mark. We also enjoy taking in live music, art galleries, museums, local restaurants, sporting events, and local breweries. We love to venture out on hiking trails and were drawn to western North Carolina by their beautiful mountains, great hiking, local artistry, craft breweries, and fabulous food. I love that Vrbo allows people to connect and share their local treasures with one another. We hope you enjoy our treasured home in Black Mountain.

We fell in love with the Village of Cheshire as a niche community within the small town of Black Mountain. This community is laid out with beauty and artistry in every detail. The winding streets, parks, gardens, and large front porches create a neighborly atmosphere as they promote walking and talking with our neighbors. The homes are stunning and very well cared for. It's fun to walk the neighborhood and get ideas from our neighbors' beautiful gardens and porches. The town of Black Mountain has so many quaint shops, a friendly feel, and a slower pace that calms the soul and warms the heart. We are a short 15 minute drive to Asheville if we want to enjoy the attractions of the city. It’s really the total package if you ask me.

Our home is newly constructed in 2024 and built with high standards of material, craftmanship, and furnishings. It is stylish and cozy, complete with every amenity you could want. This is our home away from home where we come to escape the hectic pace of the city to unwind and restore our energy. We hope you will find it as luxurious and soothing to the soul as we do. After one morning on the porch, taking in the surrounding mountains, we think you will understand why we call it our Mountain Haven.
