This Cottage is nestled in the beautiful town of Lubec. Two bedrooms, with brand new mattresses! Perfect for two, can fit 4 guests. 1 full bath and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you may need during your visit. It is decorated tastefully with local Maine artist originals. There is a large eat-in kitchen. Enjoy the Sunrises and Sunsets from the front and back porches.
Beach Access is only a mile down the road and the small town of Lubec is 2.5 miles away. There are two direct beach access roads. Great hiking, and the summer-long music festival await you.

West Quoddy Head, in Quoddy Head State Park, Lubec, Maine, is the easternmost point of the United States. In 1808 a lighthouse was constructed at the site to guide ships through the Quoddy Narrows. The current tower, with distinctive red and white stripes, was constructed in 1858 and is an active aid to navigation.

First impression walking in smell musty opened all windows to get air flow. Had to do this every time we went out for the day. The one dresser in bedroom opened drawers smelt terrible did not put clothes in drawers. Had problem with toilet that was taken care of quickly. I would recommend a taller toilet to accommodate people with back and knee issues. Sofa was very difficult to get up from for someone with back and knee issues.Really needed a thorough cleaning not what I would expect from a place I was renting.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I travelled as a single person and the property was perfect for me. check in and out was a breeze and the owner was very responsive and available. I had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay. the property was 5 minutes from town and 5 minutes to Quoddy head. the only issue is that the bedrooms are connected, which is fine for kids, but might be awkward for two couples.

Weekend Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A friend and I spent the weekend exploring our home state. We decided on the Lubec area. Channel View Cottage did not disappoint. The water view and location could not be beat. Quiet home offering all the necessities we needed. I would recommend anyone from near or far to check out this cottage and the surrounding area.

Beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. Very clean and only minutes from downtown. The only feedback I have is the use of the laundry detergent. Tide has a very strong scent that is not pleasing to many people. The use of a scent free detergent would create a neutral but clean appearance on the towels and bedding.

Perfect for us!

Firstly Kelly the property manager was amazing when I had a problem with my credit card. Second, the house was very clean! The house was just right for us. Cozy and has good vibes:) yard for the kids and hammock were lovely and can’t beat the kitchen view. Location is close to Quoddy light and lubec center and groceries. All you need is within 10 min. We would happily stay in this sweet little house again.
