Layla Palmer av The Lettered Cottage berömmelse har helt inredda detta fantastiska hem och är en mottagare av Tybee Island Historic Society Preservation Award !!! Ursprungligen byggt som en av tre Mess Halls för fortet, har detta hem haft en lång och färgstark historia inklusive tid som ett pensionat. Denna duplex med Screened Inn på andra sidan med egen egen ingång, Enlisted Men's Mess Hall har högt i tak med takfläktar, extra stora fönster i alla rum, trägolv och vikla runt veranda.
Inhägnad gård med stora palmer och levande ekar. Två kvarter från North Beach, 5 minuter från Tybee Light House Station och restaurang North Beach Grill. Den Jaycee Park (bollplaner, vandringsleder, lekplats) ligger direkt bakom hemmet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Enlisted Men's Mess Hall was a cozy space - perfect for the three of us and our dogs. The fenced yard is a wonderful addition. Located near the lighthouse, the beach, the Legion and the Jaycee park it is a wonderful area to walk and bike.The house was clean and beds were comfortable. But the highlight was the incredible service from the Mermaid Cottages staff. They were incredibly helpful and responsive. I would rent through them again for an unforgettable experience in Tybee Island!

Tybee Perfection

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and full of old Tybee charm. Quiet location near the lighthouse and easy stroll to the beach. Loved this well-appointed and homey spot!

Always wonderful

We have stayed at Screened Inn numerous times, and we can't imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Tybee. We also feel that the mermaids are hands down the best property management group that we've ever encountered. We'll be back as soon as possible!

Perfect Spot for a Tybee Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Enlisted Men's Mess Hall! The location was very convenient to the beach and to other things on Tybee Island as well. The cottage was cute and well appointed and the property owners were available as needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mess Hall Cottage. The kitchen was well equipped, the porch was a lovely place to spend our non-beach time and the beach was just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

Tybee Island vacation

Stayed here for a few days with my husband, our friends and their dog. The place was perfect for two couples or a couple with a few kids. The fenced in yard was excellent for the dog too! We spent most of our time on the delightful screened in porch watching life go by on the Island. Clean, cute and cleverly decorated. Easy walk to the beach through the secret gate. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Vitamin Sea is awesome!

My family was in town for a wedding and stayed at Vitamin Sea. This house is awesome with great space for a large family. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house and working with Mermaid Cottages!

The management staff couldn't have been better. Friendly, helpful and generally added a great element to our trip. We were there a week before Helene came in. Our weather was very nice but we're sorry that the island had to go through a hurricane. We hope that there was not much damage. We're looking forward to another trip to Tybee and Mermaid Cottages.

Our family of four fit perfectly in this cottage, and the walk to the beach was super easy and a fun adventure for our kids. The quiet neighborhood was lovely, and the house was adorable. It wasn't *perfectly* clean, but it was just fine and Mermaid Cottages couldn't have been more friendly, helpful, or professional. We would love to stay here again but will ALWAYS rent with Mermaid Cottages due to their above and beyond customer service. We LOVED this little property!

Fabulous! Location!! Location!!! Love Tybee!!!

It was such wonderful stress free stay. This cottage was like a slice of heaven. You could easily walk to a few beaches and we rented a golf cart for true island wheels. We will be back. Thank you Mermaids!!!!
