Beautiful property and surroundings. Conveniently located to get to Petoskey and surrounding area also drivable to Mackinac Island for the day. One of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Loved it. Wonderful place to sit on the deck over the water and watch the sunset.

We fell in love with this wonderful condo the minute we walked inside! This is our fourth year to travel here in the fall and Lakeside was our favorite place of all!It was clean, modern and beautifully equipped. Our host made us feel so welcome as well.You simply can’t beat sitting in a hot tub at the side of a lake on a cool October evening! We hope to be back!!!

Carlos is a fantastic host. His communication, from the time of making the reservation, check-in, all the way through check-out is top notch. He provided great details about the rental and what we should expect during our stay. The place was just as described in the listing. It had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Having use of the hot tub was the perfect way to relax the muscles after a full day of exploring up north. Would definitely look to stay here again when we visit the area again.

This condo was all about it's location! If you want to wake up to the lake every morning with your cup of coffee, this is the place. STUNNING VIEWS! And you're close to everything. The kitchen was fine but only had service for 3 or 4 so we purchased paper plates and utensils. Just wanted to give a heads up. No reflection on the property but there was a problem with the water heater and we had no hot water for 1.5 days. Out doggie loved it! Mu husband said the hot tub was great. Overall, we would not hesitate to return.

Excellent location for unobstructed views of the water. The end unit provided extra privacy and a hot tub overlooking the water. Carlos the owner was responsive to questions/concerns and also allowed for an earlier check in. Don’t forget to pack bug spray and bring clothing for coverage, as the bugs were unbearable at night at the location.

An amazing place to stay, right on the lake! The hot tub is amazing with a great view. Wake up with swans, mergansers, beavers, and ducks right outside the window. Everything you need is here for a great weekend up north. Easy access to skiing, Petoskey and Harbor springs.

This property looked great in the pictures and in the ratings, but when we checked in, there were several problems. The beds were so hard and the pillows were very thin. The worst I have ever had in a Vrbo. The smoke detector/carbon mioxide was off the wall and sitting on the coffee table. We reinstalled it only to realize that the batteries were dead when it went off at 2 am!. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom was unusable because the batteries in the remote were dead and we couldn't turn the light off with the fan running. The blinds in the master bedroom were broken and missing several slats. The blind on the shower window was covered in black mold. The window sills had dead bugs and spider poop on them. The windows on the lakeside looked like had never been cleaned. So much for a beautiful view of the lake, when the windows are flithy. Cobwebs were all over this Vrbo. Also, the master bedroom closet consisted of a large cave with a mound of damp towels and bedding just thrown into it. We contacted the host and he offered to have a crew come in to repair what was needed, however, we refused. We didn't want a crew of workers in there with our belongings and disrupting our vacation. All of these issues should have been remedied before anyone checked into this place. Needless to say, we asked for a discount and that didn't happen. The location and setting was great, but I would never recommened this Vrbo to anyone. WARNING, pictures are very deceiving!

We pride ourselves in providing for a wonderful experience at our lakeside condo and we acted quickly to respond to the concerns raised by the guest. As Angela stated, the vast majority of our ratings and reviews are evidence of our level of hospitality we offer our guests. Though we strive to be perfect, we act quickly when notified of a concern or issue as things may come up unexpectedly. The guest notified us after the 1st night of a 3 night stay, we responded immediately, and had our team on their way within the hour. However, even though they raised concerns as critical to their enjoyment of our place, the guest preferred to not have us remediate and leave things as they were for the next 2 days. It was odd, but we left our offer open to remediate anything they'd like during the rest of their stay and honored their wishes to be left alone. We did not hear from them further and they utilized our place for the remainder of their stay. We want all our guests to enjoy the beautiful lakeside condo as much as we do and we go the extra mile every time a guest asks a question, needs assistance, or has a concern. All matters noted by Angela have been evaluated an remediated where needed. There was no mold and we even replaced the fan entirely, not just the batteries. Our experience with this guest is unfortunate, but we hope they work with future hosts differently to allow for a better experience all around. We wish them all the best in future travels.

The property is very clean and up-to-date. Bathrooms were especially nice with walk in showers and big towels. Having a w/d made drying beach towels easy. We enjoyed the hot tub. The dock is right in front and my son had no trouble pulling in his pontoon to pick us up. We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful getaway - amazing area - beautiful views

The property has amazing views, is up to date, and wonderfully cared for! If you like coffee by the lake, then this is for you! Easy access to both Harbor Springs and Petosky made for a great getaway for us! The only concern was the road noise. However, the views of the lake and the easy access to the towns more than make up for it. We would stay here again!

We had a lovely time at this modern lakefront property. The place was very clean and the internet worked great which is not always the case in Northern, MI. The Owner/Manager Carlos was great and was very communicative if we needed help.

Beautiful property right on the water

We stayed here for a long weekend over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing time. The property is beautifully decorated and the view is spectacular. It was exactly what we were looking for being right on the water and close to both Petosky and Harbor Springs. The perfect place for a weekend away with your significant other. We would absolutely book with Carlos again

Carlos was great, got right back to us with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It’s like brand new inside and out, Jack with Windjammer Marina at the end of the building was super great too, rented a pontoon boat from him and he picks up and delivers to the unit free of charge. Amazing Property and Amazing Service

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property on Crooked Lake! From the moment we booked, Carlos was an exceptional host—his communication was prompt, clear, and incredibly thoughtful. He made the entire experience, from check-in to check-out, completely seamless and stress-free.The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable—exactly as pictured, if not better. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and we truly felt at home. The location couldn’t have been more ideal. It was the perfect base for our adventures throughout Northern Michigan. We spent time in Petoskey, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, and several state parks, and it was so nice to come “home” to this peaceful lakeside retreat each evening.Carlos went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and we so appreciated his hospitality. Highly, highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-located place to stay. We’re already talking about coming back!

Home Away from Home

This truly felt like a home away from home for us! Me and my girls were in between moving in and out of different homes and spent 10 nights here - It was perfect and what we needed during the transition! Being right on the water was a dream come true - especially the views waking up first thing in the morning and then around sunset. The owner, Carlos was very quick to answer any questions we had and quick to help with anything we needed. My girls LOVED the hot tub, it was very clean and always the perfect temperature. I loved the modern decor vibes inside the rental, and all the new appliances made for a stress-free time! We also did some "throw-back" fishing right off the dock at night! I also loved how close the rental was to downtown Alanson, Petoskey or Harbor Springs - it was right in the middle of it all! Oh, and how could I forget the nightly swan visits. It was so sweet. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home! We had a blast!
