Beach och Seashore Vandring Retreat

Inverness, CA. Fantastisk tillflyktsort för familj och vänner. Två minuters promenad till Chicken Ranch Beach på Tomales Bay - en fantastisk lokal strand för familjer. Spendera timmar på stranden och sedan gå tillbaka till huset för att njuta av panoramautsikt över bukten, Black Mountain och landsbygd, fågelskådning och tyst, stjärnklara nätter.

Bara några minuter från många havet och bukten stränder och vandringar i Point Reyes National Seashore och Tomales Bay State Park. Kajakuthyrning bara 200 yards ner på samma gata.

3 sovrum, 2 + BA (3 duschar, ett badkar); panorama utsikt över bukten från levande områden och sovrum; rymliga däck med fantastisk utsikt, wifi, kabel-tv, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Detta är en perfekt plats för 3 par eller två små familjer.

Huvudbyggnaden har två sovrum, 1BA och kök; bifogade stuga har 1BR, 1BA. Både hus och stugor har braskaminer - ved tillhandahålls. Två garage med pingisbord för pigg tävlingar. Lera rum med dusch för enkel sanering från dagens aktiviteter.

Soligt, stort kök välfylld med köksredskap, kryddor och häftklamrar. (När vi inte hyra huset, vi använder den för släktträffar och fester.) Weber BBQs.

One mile från Inverness lanthandel, bageri och butiker, fem miles från Point Reyes Station livsmedelsbutiker, bageri och restauranger.

Kortaste vistelse: Under högsäsong (MAJ 24-NOVEMBER 30) vi i allmänhet kräver tre nätter om vistas fredag ​​eller lördag natt eller Major Holiday (nyår, MLK, presidenter, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving, jul,). Annars, två-night minimum.

What a great place to stay. Going to Inverness and staying at this house was like going back in the past. So laid back it's a wonderful place. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying Pt Reyes and Inverness.

What a wonderful place to stay. This home makes my family's collective heart sing. Every visit is as great as the last one. And we are always happy to return. Even our dog knows when we're heading out here for a stay!Whether we're lounging on the spacious deck enjoying the view of Tomales Bay, walking on the beach, eating at the great nearby spots, or having hiking adventures, it's always a joy.Locke is a kind and responsive host. The house is always clean and ready as promised. And is such a comfortable, well-appointed spot to "land."We can't recommend it enough!

There is such a lovely view of Tomales Bay, but due to the shrubbery you were unable to see it while seated on the deck or in the house - you had to stand up to enjoy it.

Our family loves staying at this relaxing, beautiful home. It's a great escape in West Marin, with easy access to tasty food and awesome outdoor activities. Locke is a fabulous host, and we highly recommend this property!

Wonderful place to stay

My family and I love staying at this beautiful property. It's our favorite "getaway" spot that never disappoints, regardless of the weather or the time of year. The views from the comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces can't be beat. It has easy access to beaches and walking trails, as well as tasty restaurants and markets. Even our dog gets excited when we pull into the driveway!

Always a joy to visit

My family and I are always happy to stay at this wonderful house - even our dog gets excited as we arrive. The property is comfortable and has everything you need, and is always clean and well cared for. The indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing and spending time together. And the views can't be beat! We love the location and its proximity to beaches and hikes, as well as access to tasty food in the nearby towns. We can't wait to visit again!

Always a lovely place to be

This wonderful home is a true favorite for me and my family (including our dog!) As soon as we approach it, we all get excited. Perfectly situated, with a fabulous view of Tomales Bay, near to beaches and hiking, and close to tasty restaurants and well stocked grocery stores. It can't be beat! Locke is an excellent host, and the home is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well appointed for a rejuvenating getaway. 5 stars every time we visit!

We loved the place and wished we could stay longer. It had a very comfortable at home feeling. The kitchen was well stocked. Only one small complaint, which is a common problem in many rentals, not enough good larger sized frying/sauté pans. But we managed with what was there, and I highly recommend this place for groups of 4 to 6 adults. And Locke, the owner was friendly, available and helpful.

Very comfortable home

This is our second birthday visit to this lovely Inverness property. It worked perfectly for us - spacious and warm, with a wonderful view of Tomales Bay. In particular, I loved having a separate bedroom & bath across the deck. And the view was the best from this bed! Speaking of views, it would be great if the landscaping would be trimmed around the deck so people sitting on the deck (& in the house) could see the view of the bay.

For 40 years our family has spent New Year's Eve on North Beach. When we got the opportunity to buy a vacation home in Inverness we knew it was perfect! We love how close this is to the East Bay and to San Francisco. A complete retreat away from the hustle and bustle, but we can still get back to it if we need to. This house has been a great family retreat, for hiking, going to the beach or just being together for meals, reading books, watching movies and playing games. We're happy to share it with you.

Whether it's raining out or sunny, or cold and foggy, waking up in Inverness you feel relaxed after a quiet night's sleep and enveloped in the natural beauty. The large spacious deck is like an extra enlarged living room. Whether basking in some sun, ducking under the umbrella, or bundled up on a cold foggy day - drinking coffee, eating a meal, reading a book, watching the birds or having a glass of something to drink together or alone - this deck is filled with great moments and a great view!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love walking up to the house, opening the front door and.....walking onto the deck! It always surprises people to open the front door and to be on the deck and seeing the view of beautiful Tomales Bay. You can walk to Chicken Ranch beach in 2 minutes, 10 mins drive to Shell Beach and it's a short drive to any number of ocean beaches or hiking trails. A 10 minute drive to Pt. Reyes station.
