Vackert hem med 2 sovrum, sovrum har man en king size-säng och en uppsättning våningssängar (skjutdörr dörren separera våningssängar från king size-säng) och sovrum 2 har en queen size-säng. Vardagsrummet har också en sovsofa med dubbelsäng, om det behövs. Det finns bordsinställningar för 14 i kök / matplats. Hemmet har en bifogad 2 bil uppvärmd garage samt en trevlig däck på baksidan med en uppvärmd över pool (öppen från Memorial Day till Labor Day). På kvällarna kan du koppla av vid eldstaden med ljudet av en babblingbäck från vattenfontänet intill det. Trots att hemmet ligger nära många attraktioner, är det också privat och avskilt. Vår 7-dagars hyresvecka på sommaren är från lördag till lördag med incheckning efter 17:00 och utcheckning kl. 11:00 a. m.

Great home, with lots of privacy

We enjoyed pur stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone, year round.They go the extra mile, whether it's making sure we had everything we needed. They even had heat in the garage!

GREAT place!

Our family really enjoyed staying at Furnace Lake Overlook. We particularly enjoyed the outdoors, as there was plenty of property for the kids to enjoy, a beautiful view of Furnace Lake and cozy spaces where to sit outside. The host was superb and proactive, and provided us with the baby items we needed. The location is excellent!

Great place to stay in the UP

This is a fantastic vacation house in the UP. Close to trails, Lake Superior and all the UP has to offer. The house is so comfortable for families and has everything you need. The pool is a huge plus ! We can’t wait to book again! Thank you Danielle for being a great host!

Very Comfy

Great communication with owner. Pool crystal clear & heated. Loved the kitchen and all the spices, etc, that was available to us. Central A/C kept us comfy on the hot days. The garage is huge! We highly recommend.

Perfect Vacation

This property is fantastic! If you choose this gem you will not be disappointed. Close to many fun things to do and beautiful sites. Back at the home there is a gorgeous over look out onto lake that can be viewed when swimming in the pool, out on the deck, and yes, even from in the house! I loved looking up at the stars while unwinding at the fire pit and pond at night. Thank you so much so sharing your home! We will be back for sure!

Great house, great location, great people

Our stay was fantastic! Such a great house! Our 3 boys had an absolute blast in the pool. Danielle and Kevin were so accommodating... Kevin came over right away to show us how to use the pool, we had everything we needed. Would love to stay there again, we were sad to leave! Great location close to munising, waterfalls, kayaking, beaches.

Fabulous location and great hosts

My family of four had a great time hiking every day and swimming for hours when we got back to the house. The pool was very clean and warm even on cooler days. The house was perfectly set up for us and the hosts very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay again.

Furnace Lake Overlook

We wanted a place near Pictured Rocks National Seaside to stay so we could explore Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Our VRBO hostess helped us for many months before our arrival and made excellent recommendations. We booked kayaking, hiked all over and had an exciting Riptide boat excursion! After each adventure, we went back to the house and enjoyed the beautiful property and the swimming pool with all the floatations and comfy lounge chairs. One night we grilled and had a lovely patio dinner. This whole visit was just what you’d want in a great vacation from before we even arrived to the time we checked out! And the house interior was so nicely designed , furniture comfy and nice big kitchen and great bedrooms and bathrooms. Just exceptional!

The owner was amazing! Very detailed with the check in instructions. We loved that she came over to show us how to use the pool! The house was VERY CLEAN and adorable. Perfect location to explore all the UP has to offer!

Great location to explore UP

The house was located on M-28 close to restaurant, gas station and convenience store. 10 mins from Munising, 30 from Marquette. It was set back from the road though so it still feels quiet and peaceful. Great view of the lake. Pool was heated and kids enjoyed it swimming even past 9pm. Amenities were provided for and the cupboard was full. Will stay again if I’m the area.

Great stay

I will start by saying communication with the property manager was excellent. Super communicative and very pleasant to work with. The property was exactly as described and more. A couple things that we found to be excellent that are not called out on the description 1) parking is expansive for snowmobile rigs-huge!!! 3 rigs and room for more. 2) the picture window in the heated garage was awesome. We spent most of our evenings in the garage looking out the window with a great view of the lake (frozen of course!!). 3) the open floor layout and bar area was amazing to sit around and talk about the awesome sledding for the day. As far as concerns or issues, we didn’t have any. Overall great experience and very appreciative of the 4 days of great accommodations and sledding. Easy access to trails and we put in about 700 miles in 4 days. Good times ! Thank you Danielle!!

Quiet and convenient to Pictured Rocks Lake Share

It is very nice and quiet location, we only stayed from Friday evening to Monday morning. The location is quite during the weekend since no other residents near by and it hide away from the road providing extra peaceful surrendering. We enjoyed the staying and house comes with lots of amenities including Stream TV and lots of cooking supplies. It is a good place to do home away during the weekend or holidays!

Warm welcome to a great place

Beautiful house equipped with all you could need, and more. Great host making sure to warmly welcome you and answer any questions. The photos don't do it enough credit. Confortable with plently of space. Easily accessible (even in winter I'd guess) as just off the main road not "out in woods" as some places are in the UP. Very handy for visiting.

Excellent

Furnace Lake Overlook was cozy and clean. Everyone was very comfortable, so comfortable the kids hardly wanted to leave the house to go exploring. This location is perfect for day trips to see pictured rocks area, Marquette, Manistique, and more. The heated pool was perfect for the kids to have fun and the adults to relax after a day of sight seeing. The owners were very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay there again. I met my husband Kevin on a "girls" snowmobile trip in February of 2011. I was visiting from Byron in the lower peninsula and he has lived in the Munising area for most of his life. We got to know each other and fell in love via technology (Facebook and phone calls/texting). We were married on Grand Island in July 2012. After living after apart for the first 11 years of our relationship, I was finally able to move up here in March 2022. We love living near all of our properties and being able to work together to give our guests the personal attention and service they deserve. We love sharing this beautiful area with all who come to visit!

Varför värden valde detta boende

My husband Kevin and I bought this property under unusual circumstances. The previous homeowners had some damage done to home, and decided to sell instead of rebuild. Due to the fact that their driveway goes right through our business parking lot, we felt compelled to purchase. So the home was renovated and we opened as a vacation rental in July 2016 after purchasing in September 2015. As much as we would like to take credit for the master bath, that was all done by the previous owners and helped to make us fall in love with home and convince us to rebuild instead of demolish. We also loved the beautiful, peaceful view overlooking the lake. The firepit and waterfall area were also nicely done and we thought others may enjoy using them as well.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Some of the unique benefits to our vacation rental are that you have so much privacy (can hardly see a neighbor from the property) yet we are conveniently located being right on M-28 and so close to everything! Another wonderful benefit in the summer is that we are one of the only vacation rentals in the area where you have your own private, heated pool to use during your stay. Many guests think Lake Superior is a little chilly to swim in (we call it refreshing, lol!) so it is nice to be able to come home after a day of exploring to a nice, warm, heated pool :) For our winter time guests, our heated garage is a great convenience for working on snowmobiles (if needed) or to even just have them thaw out after a long day of riding so they are ready to go the next morning!
