Nära till Athens Ohio. Du kommer att älska min plats på grund av åsikter, fred, fiske, avkoppling. Min plats är bra för par, solo äventyrare, affärsresenärer och familjer (med barn). Min plats är också en del av Windy 9 för motorcykelentusiasterna eller de som bara vill njuta av några natursköna turer genom landet.

Den nedre sovrummet har en dubbelsäng och det finns ytterligare tre bäddar i loft på övervåningen. Detta är en mysig liten plats att koppla av och njuta av lugn och avkoppling.

Lake Dow är en kort 15 minuters bilresa. Lake har kajaker, paddleboat, båtar ponton, en strand, picknickområde, fiske och mer att njuta av.

Beautiful, quiet area

The cabin was very clean. Property and cabin description was accurate . Beautiful area . WiFi worked well. I contacted the owner with a quick question and he was very nice and helpful. We had a nice, relaxing weekend. I would recommend this cabin.

Cabin Life!

This property has a country cabin feel for sure! Elk, Bear, and Mallards are all impressive wall mounted. The hot tub under the stars made the evenings relaxing. We stayed in the winter and unfortunately the pond was frozen over, but fishing from the pond is a perk if weather permits! A bit of a windy, hilly drive in, but If you’re looking for a cabin stay this is a great option. We had a great visit and would consider the cabin again!

It was good

It was enjoyable and fun. The hot tube was nice, the pond was beautiful, we caught a few fish. The upstairs was bit messy with other peoples clothes under the bed, lady bugs every where they haven't been cleaned for a while. But it was good other wise

Weekend Stay

We had a really nice time staying over the weekend. The house/property was exactly as described in the listing. It’s definitely a little bit off the beaten path, but less than 20 minutes into town. There were 4 of us, and we had plenty of room. I’d absolutely recommend this property to others and we would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving

This was our 3rd stay at the cabin and it was wonderful. So beautiful and peaceful. We grilled steaks for thanksgiving day and watched football. The hot tub was so wonderful to enjoy. Always thank Mark and Carol for a beautiful cabin.

Cabin potential

This was a cute cabin for a getaway weekend. Loved having the hot tub and pretty views/access to the nearby pond. The bugs were a bit much and unsure of what measures were taken to spray the cabin and clean up bugs that were in the cabin . The upstairs was a good space, but due to bugs, we did not use that bonus space during our stay.

This was a wonderful spot for a week of quiet relaxation. If you're looking to get away from it all, relax, and just be, this is the place. The pond is full of bluegill and bass, so the kids would love the fishing. FYI, it's about 20 minutes away from any modern conveniences (gas, groceries, restaurants).

Quiet Cabin

This is a quaint cabin on a quiet road surrounded by woods, which kept it very private. The cabin is rustic and accurately explained in the details. It has a fully equipped kitchen and had everything we needed, and then some. A squirrel greeted us on the deck each morning and we saw lots of deer, wild turkey, and rabbits. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and watching the turtles sun themselves on a log. It was a nice getaway.

Great place for a getaway

Quiet relaxing getaway

We were so grateful to find such a cute little cabin to stay in for our anniversary and we will say it was everything we wanted. The area was remote enough that we did not feel disturbed at all and the cabin was very cozy. Thank you again for letting us stay!

Beautiful Relaxing Place

This was a very beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed being able to have our dogs with us and that they could run off leash. My only complaint would be someone showed up on a 4 wheeler and drove around the pond area. That alone is not the problem but not being told about it could be a problem if someone doesn't have dogs that do well with strangers or someone passing by on a 4 wheeler. Luckily our dogs weren't out at the time. And there's a big hornets nest by the pound. They didn't bother us but someone could be allergic or the dogs could be so just a heads up. We loved being able to fish whenever we wanted too and there's multiple fishing spots near by where we caught a ton of fish to keep. We also went hiking at turtle head cave which was beautiful and enjoyed the hot tub every night. It seems like you're deep in the woods but you're actually close to town. Perfect spot if you ask me. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay with your dogs I highly recommend this rental. about it told about it

Perfect Break

The pictures don't do the cabin justice. The pond/lake seemed much bigger than in the pictures. It had a great back deck looking over the pond so I could easily keep an eye on the kids and relax myself. The host was awesome and very responsive.
