Kunea Place är en tre minuters promenad till Baby Beach och några minuter från vackra och lättillgängliga stränder för surfing och vindsurfing. En fyra minuters bilresa (eller en 20 minuters promenad längs stranden) tar dig in Paia, vilket som ni kanske vet är en fantastisk ursprungliga plantage byn. Idag är det en väldigt cool surfare stad fylld med restauranger, butiker, yoga studios, och det bästa hälsokostaffär på Maui. När du väljer att äta ute kan du njuta av något av de läckra närliggande restauranger.

Om du föredrar att göra dina måltider hemma, är Kunea Place en perfekt plats att umgås. Med Safeway och Costco bara tio minuter bort, och med ett stort renoverat och fullt utrustat kök, är det enkelt att göra vackra måltider hemma.

Great stay

The stay was great and worked perfectly where everyone had a seperate room or could gather if needed. The only annoyance but not an issue was the landscaping crews and navigating through them in the driveway.

Great Stay

This property was amazing and was such a nice getaway from city life. The airport is very close so it makes it nice to be able to come in and leave the trip. Landscaped beautifully and the pool is deep. The views are breathtaking and the little things done to make you enjoy your time while at the rental were much appreciated. Laundry and wrap-around-lawn were nice and it is right near a golf course. You can walk through the grounds of the place a number of ways that make it to where dogs or neighbors can just walk into your area, but the neighbors are respectful as long as you're not being loud. Overall great place to stay and the updated bathrooms were such a nice treat to have. Would stay here again if I travel with a small group of friends again.

Stunning property and exceptional location; opt for comms & property info

This is probably our favorite neighborhood on the island. It’s incredibly convenient to Kahului and the airport, and Baby Beach (just a short walk away) is a gem, perfect for families with its calm, shallow waters.The real standout here is the property itself. The expansive lawns, beautiful lanai, and stunning view made it easy to spend 99% of our time outside, which was exactly what we were looking for in a Maui vacation.We had a great time using this home as our base. While some areas of the property are a bit worn (some older bathrooms and outdoor furniture), Dennis was quick to respond when one of the chairs broke, which we appreciated. One thing to note: the pool is absolutely gorgeous, but deep throughout (no shallow end) so it's not ideal for young children or shorter folks. That said, we’re avid swimmers and loved it.The only real stressor was the lack of detailed instructions around check-in, check-out, and home logistics (e.g., trash, lawn and pool care schedule). We had to reach out for a few details that would have been helpful to have in advance or in a home guide.

Perfect for our family

We were visiting family on Maui and this home was perfect for our mutli generational household. The homes large yard and pool was great for our kids who had fun sharing one of the Ohana connected to the main home. We prefer staying on the North side of the island and near Paia, so the location fit that as well. We actually extended our stay because we weren’t ready to leave and Dennis was very prompt accommodating our request. We look forward to staying at this home again when we return to Maui for another family visit.

A great family trip!

The property was equipped with all the amenities we needed to make our first visit to Maui amazing. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and was responsive. The pool was a hit and we spent lots of time in the backyard.

Perfect!

The location was perfect for us. We loved the view of the mountains. Pool was just what 4 teenagers needed to unwind. If we ever come back this way we would stay here again.

Would stay again!

What a beautiful, clean, safe and welcoming property with all rooms overlooking the pool and so much space to spread around. A ten minute walk to a special beach and a quick drive into Paia with great restaurants made the location prime for us. We needed to contact the host a few times with questions and he responded immediately and even ran us out a new propane tank for the grill one evening.

Fantastic Stay!

This was one of the best rental experiences we’ve had so far! The house was on the most amazing, private and peaceful properties. The outdoor space was perfect for our family of 6 to lounge comfortably when not at the beach. We made good use of the fabulous pool! Dennis was very responsive and pleasant to speak with. If we visit Maui again, this is the first rental we’ll check out! We would for sure stay here again!

Great house

My family of four with a 2 yr old loved staying at this home. It was very close to baby beach - perhaps one of our favorite beaches in Maui. The proximity to Paia - a very cute town - was perfect. It was so central and easy to get to every spot on the island. We spent a lot of time in the pool and loved having our dinners outside. Would definitely stay here again. The only negative was the plane noise but honestly we got pretty used to it by night 3 and our boy loved watching the planes land so maybe not even a negative 😁

Family Trip to Maui

Excellent rental!! We took our adult / married children to Maui and this rental was perfect for our needs! Everyone had their own place to retreat to after a long day experiencing Maui. The pool was a perfect place to gather and play and the tennis / pickleball court was just right! The beach was a 5 minute walk away

Big Beautiful Pool and Lots of Nature

We had a great time staying in this home! It is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We loved sitting out on the lanai with the view of the pool, palm trees and distant mountains. This house is a paradise for nature lovers, lots of birds and little lizards in the garden. We found the host, Dennis, to be very helpful, available and friendly.

Beautiful home, great location

Beautiful home, many amenities. Well stocked and immaculate with comfortable beds and private baths, large kitchen had everything we needed for family meals. Pristine pool and lots of pool toys. Lovely yard with privacy, flowers everywhere. 5 minute walk to white sand beach, 2 mile drive to Paia, resort village with shops and restaurants. 10 minutes to airport. Good host. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful!

This house was ideal for our family of 7 adults and 1 toddler. Great separation of space, a well equipped kitchen, outdoor dining, beautiful lawns (which were great for bocce) and a sparkling pool which we enjoyed more than anticipated. A nice neighborhood and short walk to 3 lovely beaches with Paia close by. We had so much fun here. Dennis was great to work with….Mahalo!

This house was the perfect getaway for our family! It is in a very private neighborhood away from the resorts, but still a short drive away from Kahului. Between the 5 minute walk to the beach, tennis court, and pool, we could have just stayed at the house our entire vacation. Everything we could have needed and more was stocked/provided in the house, could not have chosen a better place to stay.

A perfect home away from home!

Everything was perfect! It fit our two families perfectly. Loved the private rooms and all the bathrooms. The property was STUNNING and LOVE the 5 min walk to baby beach. We enjoyed the pool so much.
