We love staying here when visiting SD! This is our second time staying and has become our "go to" place to stay when we visit SD!!. The close proximity (walking distance) to numerous restaurants, stores; condo pricing, cleanliness, amenities, king bed, and quiet location; super short drives to Old Town, Balboa Park, downtown SD, beaches, etc ..... and our super nice and responsive Host (Jordan) all make for a wonderful and comfortable stay.As I've stated before,.....we'll be back!

This was a great place to stay. It was comfortable, close to everything, and well equipped. The decor is fun and it ended up being the ideal place for us. Jordan was very communicative and helpful.

Amazing Stay

Spent a week at this beautiful property and the host was wonderful!!!! This is the perfect quaint and quiet spot to stay at. My boyfriend and I cuddled up in the living room for movie nights and the bedroom was so cozy!!!! I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Great place

A cozy home and was perfect for our weekend and close to all the places we needed to be. We did not rent a car for our stay and Uber was readily accessible. We appreciated all the extra bathroom amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

A/C was a portable unit and effective in the living room and kitchen area. No A/C in bedroom, just a fan. Kitchen was well provided. The only thing that was missing was a toaster. The unit was clean and neat. Jordan was very responsive and helpful.

The master bedroom did get really hot compared to the rest of the home. Also unfortunately one of the window latches was broken in the kitchen which led to the back alley. Everything was amazing other than that!

The place was decorated nicely and I appreciated the layout and access to the air bed for my second kiddo. That said, the caulking in the bathroom and kitchen sink needs to be replaced. It’s coming off around where the undermounted sink meets the counter, and there is black mold under both (worse in the kitchen sink).

Great stay in SD.

I was visiting SD for the first time and wanted to get to know the city as much as possible. This location was incredibly convenient -- I was able to walk all over Hillcrest, University Heights, Balboa Park, Banker Hill, etc. Everything else is a very quick rideshare trip away. I felt safe in the neighborhood the entire time. The host was extremely quick to respond to my questions and also very patient with me. The unit gets a lot of natural light, which was really nice. Overall, I had a great stay.I do want to say that the unit is near construction, so if you are extremely sensitive to noise, keep this in mind. It didn't bother me (and the unit has fans which can help cover the noise), but the noise is noticeable. Also, the wifi is not super fast, so if you're working remotely like I did, be aware of this. These were truly my only negative experiences with the unit and neither are make-or-break issues in my opinion, so 5 stars all around.

This property was overall great! The location was fantastic, really close to everything we wanted to do as well as allowing us to find some fun new spots. From the outside you definitely feel like you're in an alley but once you get into the property it's like a cozy hideaway. Felt safe and comfortable. Little hiccup with the check in process as we were told the cleaners were done but then they were still there, but the property owner was responsive and the cleaners were super nice too! The space I think is perfect for a couple, three people at a stretch but might be a little small for anything more than that. The decor is super fun and the kitchen was stocked, I've stayed places before where we practically have to buy salt and pepper but this place had the main essentials you'd need and then some! Bathroom was also stocked with sunscreen, toothbrushes, and other amenities which was a nice touch. Air conditioning is only in the living room, the bedroom has a fan and does get a little warmer but we were there in July and found it never got too hot for us, but just a note for super heat-sensitive folks in the dead of summer that this is not a full-AC igloo. Overall we had a great experience, it was such a nice place to come back and relax after all our adventures, and we are even planning to stay there again if it's available next time we make the trip to San Diego!

We loved this vrbo. My only complaint is with booking through Travelocity. Be warned if you book through Travelocity, you can’t communicate with the host through the VRBO app which makes things difficult. Luckily Jordan was super flexible and worked with us to make sure everything else went smoothly. Will definitely stay here again just won’t book here through Travelocity again.
