Perfect Stay at Sandcastles

I stay at Sandcastles every summer. This unit is clean, spacious and updated. The ground level unit is perfectly located near the parking lot, pool and easy walk to the beach. The condo has everything you need for an amazing stay!

Great location

This property is right on the ocean in the middle of everything there is to do in Cocoa Beach. It is clean and properly maintained. The grounds are beautiful with an awesome pool and steps to beach access. The owner is great and very helpful.

Hurricane Milton

Unable to go because airport MCO was closed day of arrival. Also, area was devastated from hurricane Milton. There were power outages, at condo and many other places in Cocoa Beach. Owner said power was expected to be restored shortly, but I had read some places were out of power for days. Saw local tv videos of downed trees and roads that were blocked off because of damage. Wonderful stay at a beautiful condo!

This condo is conveniently located on the ground floor, right beside the pool. It has been tastefully updated with all the amenities you would ever need! As an added bonus, our security deposit was returned within a week of our departure. We would certainly reserve this spacious condo again.

Immaculate and spacious

Condo was immaculate and had everything we needed. Grounds were well cared for with nice pool and beach access. Super comfortable bed in master, nice updated baths, and large rooms. We were in town to visit the Space Center and this was a great location. The Owner is very prompt in responding. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Great condo

The condo was great. It’s right across from the pool which is really convenient and just a short walk to the private beach access. The condo was roomy and we had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The condo property felt very safe and clean. Everyone we met at the pool and beach were very friendly. Steven is a great property manager and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely book this condo if we visit Cocoa Beach in the future.

Accessible and Close to the Beach

My wife and I stayed here with my wife's parents. My father-in-law uses a walker/wheel chair, so it was great to have an accessible place for him. It was very convenient to be able to drive up right to the door on the bottom floor, and my father-in-law was able to move around the space easily. There is beach access right from the complex and they had boogie boards, skim boards, beach chairs, and an umbrella to use. The pool/hot tub is also right out the front door. The host was very kind and responsive. We had a great stay!

Very clean, modern, and perfect location

We had an awesome time. This condo was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed plus some. CLEAN!! EVERYTHING was CLEAN. The pool was great (hate it closed at 10). Very short walk to the beach. I highly recommend this condo!!Owner was very easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions I had. I also felt very safe at this location and did not see any crazy stuff going on here. There is a security guard that is on duty and is all over the property. Excellent stay!!

Stay was fine, but check-out process was messy

The condo was fine, but the landlord got really upset at check-out and threatened to charge us $200 as an excess cleaning fee. We followed every detail in the check-out procedures and left the place in great shape. Fortunately, VRBO investigated the claim and agreed with our assessment. It is a shame there was so much unnecessary drama. It ruined what was otherwise a pleasant vacation.

Nice condo, but be cautious as owner takes % of deposit

My wife, son and I enjoyed our stay at this condo. The facilities and condo are in good shape with everything in working order. Parking is adequate. The condo is very roomy and well cared for. Electronics work well and wi-fi speeds are up to par. With the exception of lacking a beach view, this condo is well positioned and is a short walk to the beach and pool. Only complaint is even though we paid an $80 cleaning fee, we were surprised to find out that the owner took an additional $160 of our deposit for "excessive trash" (there were two bags), "deep cleaning the oven" (we only used it once to cook biscuits?), "excess sand" (we washed our feet before we walked in) and "dishwasher not started". The owner refused to budge when we requested for him to reconsider and would only email me but would not return my call. We felt that the $80 cleaning fee we paid covered taking out the trash and turning on the dishwasher. He emailed that it took two additional hours to clean the condo and he did the cleaning himself. We've staying in hundreds of hotels & rented plenty of properties, but this is the first time we've not received 100% our deposit back. When I let him know I was going to write a review detailing his tactics, he stated that he would be providing a "detailed reply". I'm sure his reply will be lengthy and detailed, but the fact is you should be prepared to lose a % of your deposit if you rent this condo. We left the condo in the condition one would expect after being there for four days, but he still took $160.

Cocoa Beach stay

The unit was clean and updated and fully furnished kitchen and steps to pool and beach. They had construction going on during stay and outside and adjacent properties somewhat dated but Steven was very responsive and the inside of unit very nice.
