A peaceful getaway!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! Brian was so friendly and an incredible host! Made us cookies for our anniversary! Such a sweet gesture!The views are incredible. We loved spending time in the hot tub taking in the beautiful surroundings. The home is cozy and was so relaxing for just the 2 of us. Truly a perfect trip. Couldn't have asked for a better location and host!

Wonderful weekend escape

A beautiful place for a weekend getaway. Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, friendly hosts, amazing views from deck and hot tub. Close to Pagosa but also far enough away to feel like an escape from the world. We were already talking about coming back.

Amazing Stay

Host couldn’t have been any better or friendlier. View was excellent and the cabin was in great shape. Location is not very far from town, but far enough out of the city to be quiet, not crowded, and lots of wildlife to watch.

Mountain paradise!

We had a fantastic time visiting Pagosa Springs for the first time and felt just at home staying at this beautiful mountain retreat! Everything we needed was there along with gorgeous mountain views and extreme comfort.

Adorable cabin apartment

Our stay here was great. The apartment is adorable and very cozy. The view of the mountains is fantastic for a sunrise or sunset. Brian was a great host easily accessible. Highly recommend this gem.

Lovely Place

The place was perfect for a little getaway to Pagosa. The only issue was that the bunk beds were not very comfortable, especially the mattress on the bottom bunk. Other that we enjoyed everything about the place. The views were beautiful!

Cozy & Clean

We had a wonderful stay! Brian and Robin (homeowners on site) were super accommodating. The home is very clean and well stocked with all the basics. Even though the cabin is near the owners home, it is private and you don’t even notice they are home. The hot tub was very clean although we didn’t have time to use it. The only downside was the bed was a bit squeaky so you just get used to the sound when you roll over! Great stay and we will be back!

So Pretty

Absolutely Perfect

So stinking cute!

Brian was easy to commit with. We were looking for a mountain getaway, and that’s what we got! The place was clean, great views, had coffee and tea! The bed could use a mattress pad on top, but otherwise very happy with the place!

This house has EVERYTHING one needs to enjoy breath-taking solitude in the lovely San Juans.

Brian was extraordinarily responsive in arranging our booking. The house was cozy and clean. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of firewood, and views that stretched for miles. There were no disturbances, which only added to our wonderful experience. We'd love to stay here again!!!

4th of July

The Cliff house was a pleasant surprise for my family of four. We have stayed at other vrbo properties before, but none as clean and thoughtfully furnished as this one. We enjoyed the deck and hot tub daily. Brian was a good host with great communication before, during, and after our stay. Access into Pagosa was easy and the cabin was a welcome retreat to come home to after the day's activities. We would recommend this property to our family and friends. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great stay!

We had a great mini weekend get away. The house was cozy and warm. There is ample bedding, towels, dishes, pots, etc., excellent gas stove and huge refrigerator. I booked this home specifically for the hot tub and it will not disappoint. Brian, the onsight owner, was friendly and helpful. It’s important to note that this home is semi-private. The home sits about 80-100 ft behind the owners residence. It was very quiet and we had a good time but it really wasn’t enough privacy for us. Thanks Brian for your hospitality 😊

Pagosa Springs Cabin with Awesome Views!!

We loved Brain and Robin's knoll top ranch for the views and quiet. The sunrise and sunset's were awesome. Very cool watching the rain and lightning play on the mountains. We attended the Parelli Summit at the Parelli Institute and ranch that is located just over the ridge to the east and only a 8-minute drive. It was perfect location as we were able to come home for lunch. We enjoyed cooking in (kosher salt and sugar brined grilled chicken, wilted kale and carrot salad, grilled beef ternderloin flambeed in the cast iron pan w Balvenie 15-yo, kosher salt encrusted baked potato, steamed broccoli, salad, fresh baked cookies...mmmm :). We highly recommend this cabin and will stay again if the Lord's brings us to area again!!

Amazing Space in an Amazing Town!

I don't have the words to express how amazing The Cliff House was. The place was immaculate when we came, with snacks out on the table, a pitcher of sweet tea in the fridge, a pot of coffee ready to brew and a fully stocked pantry to minimize what we had to buy at the store. The floor plan is spacious, the house is beautiful and the hosts were some of the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure of staying with in any vacation rental. Although the property is just a stone's throw from the main house, it truly felt like a secluded sanctuary in the mountains with all the amenities of a luxury hotel. If you are looking for a tranquil escape where deer roam the property and you can wake to a gorgeous sunrise and relax in the hot tub while watching an amazing sunset - look no further, The Cliff House is your dream space!

Pagosa Springs Gem

First off, the view from this property is amazing. Property owners on site made us feel welcome and would help us out with anything we needed. The home has really nice country style furnishings and the beds were comfortable. Heated by a nice wood stove style gas fireplace. The hot tub was great after a full day of snowboarding. Just a heads up, their driveway is a challenge in the winter months. We had an all-wheel drive and made it up most times. Aggressive tires or snow tires will do it with ease. Nonetheless, we parked off to the side at the bottom the few times it would not make it. Given the opportunity, I would definitely stay at The Cliff House again.

Great retreat cabin

Had a combined 60th birthday weekend with my best girlfriend. We see each other annually and we both agreed this was the best accommodations we have found to date. great rustic cabin feel with all the modern amenities. The hot tub and stars at night were spectacular and the sunrises on the deck were breathtaking. We were there for the fall colors and the weather was great. Hiked the Rainbow Trail with the dog, and had an afternoon peaking around Pagosa Springs' great shops and restaurants. Good beer and food at the Riff Raff brewery. Would stay here again. Sleeps up to 4 adults comfortably or a family with kids/teens, a "cozy" space for more than that. The beds were comfortable,quiet inside, a great kitchen for cooking, Incredible view from the house and deck. Plenty of wood stoves! A gas wood stove that heated the whole house well in October, and two wood burning stoves if you like the trouble! Plenty of room for kids and animals outside. Down side is that you can hear the highway from the deck, and quite a few dogs barking in the "neighborhood". Didn't notice either when inside, but better than being in town!!

All that we hoped and much, much more!

This is an amazing cabin. We visited with our kids and dogs the week before Christmas and it was perfect. The mountain views are picturesque and we couldn’t have hoped for better. We arrived at night and had no idea we were going to wake up to such a wonderful view. The pictures do not give this property justice, it is beautiful. The cabin is situated very close to town, and there are no close neighbors. Pagosa Springs is about 10 minutes away, and Durango is about an hour away. Pagosa is surrounded by national forests with seemingly limitless trails and other outdoor activities to be had. Wolf Creek ski resort is a 30 minute drive away, and there were tons of other activities in Pagosa Springs like hot springs, dining, parks, hiking, sledding and shopping. All of the people in town were so friendly and that helped make the stay even more enjoyable. This house makes you want to relax and enjoy being away from everything. Inside the house, you are surrounded by windows which create an enviable panoramic view. There is also the hot tub, grill and fire pit if you want to spend some time outside relaxing – we enjoyed them all. It was frigid cold outside, but the house was somehow always cozy and warm. The kitchen was excellent, but if you are particular about pots and pans like us, you may want to bring a few extras. The bedding was very comfortable, and there were plenty of additional linens if we ever needed them. The small shed outside is stocked with plenty of firewood. We also had a great time outside the house in the snow. We built snow men and used the sleds that were provided to sled down a small hill. It was really great that we could bring our dogs on our vacation too. There is a corral outside with chicken wire around the perimeter which is a good place for the dogs to frolic. Brian, the owner, was the most helpful, prompt and considerate renter that I have ever dealt with. He quickly responded to any questions we had during our stay and went out of his way to help us with anything that we needed. As a side note, the stars at night are amazing and endless when the sky is clear. There is nothing like finding the perfect vacation house, and this was it.

Amazing stay!

The view was simply breath taking! The house was warm and cozy! Hot tub was amazing! The owner is awesome! On our final day we were leaving and ended up getting stuck, he didn’t have to help us but he came down and helped pull us out with the assistance of one of his neighbors! We will be back to stay!
