This was a great rental for a large group. There was plenty of seating, spaces to eat, and beds to sleep in. The amenities were exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. Holly was great at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed.

This house is absolutely perfect. Dream mountain house to stay in! Had everything we needed and more. Decorated beautifully and right next to the slopes. Tons of space for our two families and Holly was a great host. We will absolutely be back!

Our family had a wonderful stay in Blowing Rock, and this home was the perfect place to make lasting memories. The location was ideal, with so many family-friendly activities just a short drive away, making it easy to keep our young grandchildren entertained.The house was spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and enjoy their own space. The "buck bedroom" was a huge hit with the grandchildren and quickly became their favorite room!Traveling in June was the perfect escape from the Florida heat, and we loved spending time in the cool mountain air. Holly was an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and quick to help with any questions we had during our stay.We highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Blowing Rock area, especially families. It was a five-star experience from start to finish, and we would gladly stay here again. Thank you, Holly, for helping make our family vacation so memorable!

Great house with all the options/features you can stand!!It gets cold up there and the snow can be thick off the ski-slope. I’d recommend bringing an extra personal blanket, but everything else is there already!

Lots of beds. Comfy. Bathroom had ants when we moved in but the owner sent traps and it was quickly rectified. The amount of spiders and cobwebs in the game room was a little much for us and they weren’t new since our arrival. The hot tub was nice. The sauna was also cool. The coffee bar was great. Hot quick coffee was so nice in the mornings. The fire pit was also super!The upstairs washing machine was out of service which was very inconvenient because it rained 11 of the 13 days we were here and the only washer and dryer was inside a bedroom. The kicker was that when I let the owner know the drain in the shower was clogged she told me the drain came out easily and I could clean out the hair. Mind you I’m fairly certain it wasn’t my hair. That’s gross. Like so gross. Never offered to have someone else come so of the 3 bathrooms for 7 beds that was inconvenient as then we were down to 2 showers. If it wasn’t a cool place with a good view I’d give it 2* but I’m not rude like that.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the comfortable beds, hot tub, sauna, coffee bar, fire pit, and beautiful views. For future guests, we want to clarify a few points. Our home is professionally cleaned before every guest’s arrival, and we encourage guests to contact us immediately if anything is not to their standards. Had we known there were concerns with the game room, we would have been happy to send our cleaning team back to address them. The home is also professionally treated for pests on a quarterly basis. While we work diligently to prevent insects and spiders, a home in a natural setting can occasionally have some unwanted visitors. Regarding the shower drain, this guest stayed for 13 days. With a nearly two-week stay, hair accumulating in a drain is unfortunately a common maintenance issue and does not necessarily indicate a problem that existed before arrival. Our intention in explaining that the drain cover was easily removable was to offer a quick solution but the guest was unwilling to remove her hair from the drain. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the upstairs washer being out of service during such a rainy stay. A new unit has been ordered. We appreciate the positive comments about the many amenities and hope future guests will feel comfortable reaching out to us during their stay.
