Bright, clean and cozy second-floor apartment located just steps to restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping in the heart of historic downtown Vergennes.
Newly renovated and neighboring an art gallery, this apartment is decorated to be a comfortable space for guests to relax in. Your private outdoor space includes a front deck/ balcony with chairs and a view of the little city and nearby mountains. The bedroom has a full-size bed that sleeps two. Additional sleeping arrangements consist of a full-size inflatable mattress that can be set up in the living room to sleep two additional guests. The living room has a closet and a door that can be closed for privacy.
The apartment has high-speed Comcast cable internet, and a work space set up so you can work remotely if needed. A kitchen table seats four and is a comfortable place to enjoy meals during your stay. The galley kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to cook (if you can tear yourself away from enjoying the various restaurants in town)!
This convenient location is a 35-minute drive to Burlington and just 20 mins to Middlebury. A 10-minute drive to nearby Button Bay Park and Basin Harbor Resort on the shores of Lake Champlain. 35-minute drive to Mad River Glen Ski Area, 50-minute drive to Sugarbush Resort, and just 35 minutes to the Middlebury Snow Bowl.
There is off-street parking for one car in the driveway. Additional on-street parking is available right in front of the building (please note overnight street parking is not allowed from Dec. 1- April 1). There is EV parking across the street.
Please note that the building is located right in the downtown, and across the street from the fire department. There are the expected sounds that go along with being in a small but busy town, including traffic, trucks, plows, etc. Although the fire sirens go off occasionally, it doesn't seem to happen more than once every few days, and very rarely at night.
