A Cozy Master Queen Bedroom with Private Bathroom in a shared house

A very nice peaceful Neighborhood. This private master bedroom is clean, comfortable and offers luxurious queen size bed and full private bathroom.
With a keyless entry enabled via a code or via August mobile application self-check-in is super easy.
The room is a large size and has a fairly large closet with a large shelf inside. It is great for short and long-term stays. The bedroom is perfect for relaxation and a good night's sleep. The bedroom suits one guest or a couple, is private and located on the top floor of the house. Your room has its own 4K/ UHD 43" smart TV (Netflix, Amazon prime, Apple TV and Disney+). There is an iron and ironing board inside the entry way closet for your use, which can be set up inside your room. Your private bathroom is en suite bathroom. Bathroom is stocked with hand soup, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Clean towels are also available in room.
Brookfield is a safe and family friendly neighborhood. There are walking trails. The neighborhood is close to several shopping centers i.e., Fair Oaks Mall, Greenbrier Shopping Plaza that hosts a large variety of eating choices.
We are less one hour from the heart of DC using the metro or by car where you can enjoy all that it has to offer including 17 different Smithsonian Museums all of which are free to access to the public.
As your Host, my aim is to ensure that you have as comfortable a stay as you possibly can. I want you and your guests to create lasting memories during your stay in my humble house in Chantilly, VA.
But to do so, I would really appreciate it if you could follow the below house rules. I know, I know, rules are boring… But these rules ensure we can provide future guests with a great experience.

General:
-Please note that other guests might be living in the house.
-No guests with no reviews.
-No unregistered guests
-No Parties
-No smoking
-No pets
-No outdoor shoes policy inside the house.

Parking:
Free street parking is unrestricted and unlimited spots are available. Please don't park in the driveway or block the sidewalk.

Entrance:
For your convenience, a shoe rack is provided at the entrance to limit use of shoes on the floors in the house. Please use your own slippers around the house. if you don't have any, Non-Slip Disposable Slippers will be provided upon your request.

Security Cameras:
Security cameras are for guests’ safety reasons. Cameras are pointed toward main entrance, backyard entrance and swimming pool area.

Kitchen:
Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. We provide a Keurig instant coffee maker with complimentary condiments, cutlery, plates, and cooking utensils should you wish to cook. There is also a sponge and dishwashing soap for your convenience. Please feel free to scrub/rinse your dishes in the sink and put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Dishwasher detergent pods are located in the closet under the sink.

Heating/ Cooling:
The property has heating and cooling controlled by a Nest thermostat located in the dining area. Feel free to make yourself comfortable during your stay. Let me know if you have any questions.

Noise:
Due to local city regulations and as neighbors surround our property, we would appreciate it if you could keep the noise down after 10pm if possible. Please note that house owner lives downstairs. Please notify host if it is disruptive in any way. Not a problem and host appreciates your communication on this.

Laundry:
There is a washer and dryer available for you to use, with washing detergent located on the shelf above the laundry sink.

TV Entertainment:
Your room has its own 4K/ UHD 43" smart TV and the living room has 4K/ UHD 55” smart TV. Both TVs are powered by multiple streaming services (Netflix, Amazon prime, YouTube, Disney+ and Apple TV) for available music, shows, News, movies, and entertainment channels.

Smart devices:
You can use the g.o.o.g.l.e mini device” voice activated” to control the lights in the living room by saying: “Hey G.o.o.g.l.e switch on/off the lights”. Alexa device is also in the kitchen. Feel free to play some music or listen to news while cooking by saying:” Alexa, play some music” …etc.

No Smoking/No Pets policy
The health and safety of our guests and future guest are a top priority for us. Thereby, our VRBO has a No smoking/No Pets policy. Since no smoking is allowed on premises; if any evidence/alert/smell is detectable (even smoking in a doorway and it blowing back in), an additional cleaning fee of $250 will be assessed. If any smoke/odor of any kind can be detected such as Cigar, Cigarette, incense, legal matters in other states, etc. the fee will be applied. This will be pursued and reconciled through the VRBO Resolution Center upon check-out. We immensely thank you in advance for caring for our home as well as considering the health and well-being of our current and future guests.

10 STEP CHECKOUT CHECKLIST:

Please bear in mind you are still on vacation. Don’t stress it as we will happily get to anything you couldn’t get to, no problem!

Checkout Time is 11am. The cleaners are scheduled to come in promptly and start cleaning. We also ask if possible, to notify us in case you leave earlier than 11am.

Towels and Linens: unless you are checking out, please feel free to do your own laundry during your stay. When you decide to check out; Pls gather all used towels on the floor. Cleaners will strip beds off linens and take to our bigger laundry unit after checkout. No need to do laundry or put in the laundry machine.

Trash: Please consolidate all trash by emptying the two trash cans into the main trash bin in the kitchen or dump it into the outdoor trash dumpster bins (black color for trash, green color for recycling) right outside the garage door if you can; otherwise, we can do that upon checkout, no problem. Trash and recycling pickup day is Monday.

Please empty the Fridge of your own items like used or opened food stuff. Please leave all other items or other guests’ items untouched.

Dishes: please wash your dishes and cups if you can or just leave it in the dish washer.

Check If Anything Is Left Behind Before Leaving.

Please make sure the front door, backyard glass door and kitchen door are all locked all times during your stay and before leaving.

Please turn off all lights if you can and when not used.
