Sea Breezes South - bara några steg till stranden!

Sitter bara 100 yds från stranden, Sea Breezes är inbjudande och bekväm minut du promenerar genom dörren. Varje sida av duplex har 2 sovrum, 1 badrum och ett vardagsrum / matsal / kök. En unik glidväg tillåter uthyrning av båda sidor med en gemensam matplats. Varje kök är fullt utrustat. Det finns kabel-TV, DVD och wifi, en privat däck med grill och himmelska utomhus duschar på varje sida. Town of Southern Shores grundades på volontärism och fortsätter att vara omhändertagen av ett starkt grupp av medlemmar av samhället. Det är en stark gemenskap som har för avsikt att bevara ett säkert, familjevänligt strand- och ljudområde. Strand- och ljudåtkomst är begränsad till fastighetsägare och hyresgäster, så det är inte ett problem att överbelastning sker. Tillgång till stranden från Sea Breezes Cottage är en kort 100 gård promenad. Trots tvärs över gatan från stranden tillgång stigen, är stugan i en strängt verkställd 25 mph zon av Ocean Blvd, vilket gör att korsningen av gatan enkelt och säkert. Södra sidan av stugan är identisk med den nordliga sidanheten utom i sängkläder. På den här sidan finns ett sovrum med en king size-säng. Det andra sovrummet har två enkelsängar. Det finns också en queen size soffa i vardagsrummet.

Observera att vi inte tillhandahåller sängkläder. Du måste ta med egna lakan, handdukar, kökshanddukar och badlakan.

My stay

It was an old duplex and it hasn’t been updated. The beach was just across the street, which was nice. The internet for the tv was not great, it would stop while we were watching a program. We had to provide our own sheets and towels. Pets were allowed.

Cozy Cottage but needs some attention

The place is located very close to the beach and central so one can easily visit other areas of the Outer Banks. It is a duplex and they don’t have to be loud to hear everything that your neighbors are doing. Mine had a small baby that cried every single night after 10:00 pm. So be aware. If the owners took a better care of details I’d give it 5 stars because the noise is manageable and I did sleep well, but the place is a little run down, they don’t provide any type of linens when every other place does. I had to buy paper towel, toilet paper, shampoo, soap. I am in a road trip, I booked over 10 places…every single one provided all these things except for this one. In summary, I did have a good time but it could have been better.

An affordable, funky spot right by the beach

We had a great stay. Check in was seamless and we were thrilled to discover the beach is basically across the street. The property is a bit dated and could use better soundproofing for the adjoining unit, but overall, it more than met our needs. Loved the outdoor shower.

Great place close to the beach

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend with our two dogs. It was a great place to stay. It was clean, had everything you need in the kitchen, and it was a very short walk to the beach! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Great little place for a weekend getaway

Great little place, and close to the beach. My only complaint was the lawn and shrubbery not being maintained. I highly recommend to anyone for a long weekend getaway.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Our cabin was nothing fancy but it was just right for the three of us. It was a two minute walk to a beautiful beach. The beds were comfortable and grocery stores were a short drive away. We will hope to stay here again.

The description was fairly accurate, however, minimal amenities and no evidence to make the stay more personal. Landscape could have been much better. However, it was so accessible to the beach that it made the stay tolerable.

Great stay

You can’t beat the price and location. Beach is an easy walk across the road. Decided to go with this property because of the price and because we planned on enjoying the beach and outside activities as much as possible. With the money we saved we were able to use it to make lasting memories at beach rentals and other outdoor activities.

Loved our stay!

This was a great location and great space for our memorial day weekend getaway! It is 100 yards from the beach and is dog friendly! Great backyard space for grilling and hanging out. The cities Duck Kitty Hawk Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head are all within a 20-30 minute drive! Super convenient. Will definitely be returning.

Southern Shores/Outer Banks beach house

Location, location, location! Never were those words more accurate than in describing this property! Just 225 steps from the front door to the sand (I counted!). Anne was very attentive with some minor issues with the house. House is simple, clean and very close to the beach! We love OBX and would stay here again for sure!

Nice cottage. Not fancy but it is clean and cozy.

My husband along with our dog Bailey spent the week at the cottage. It was convenient to the beach and just up the road from Kitty Hawk beach where dogs can be off leash after Labor Day if they are well behaved. They only drawback from the stay was Hurricane Maria was off the coast kicking up a fuss but we did get on the beach and had a great time. Would definitely go back

Location is everything!

This property is directly across from the beach! In addition to that, Southern Shores is a great town with lots to do. I recommend a drive up to Corolla to see the lighthouse and the wild ponies. The property was clean. The hostess was very responsive. We struggled with the lock to get into the property. But we were doing it wrong, she was very kind and patient with us.

Nice little place, great location.

This is a nice little place. It is not one of the oversized houses which surround it. Everything is as advertised. I would say that the only issue, and it is minor, is that because it is 2 connected units, one can really hear the neighbors. Perhaps some egg crates on both sides of that removable wall would help. But still, it is a great place to stay and a wonderful location.

This cottage was bought by my parents, in partnership with my father's best friend from the Navy, Hal. At times it was hard for each to make the payments, but they managed. With 5 kids there was a ready supply of workers to maintain the cottage. Several families from our church also bought cottages or rented cottages regularly and memories of our time on the Outer Banks grew with bonfires on the beach, trips up Jockey's Ridge, Easter egg hunts, and more. When the mortgage was finally paid in full, my folks bought the other side of the duplex and Hal bought another place down the beach. Over the years, the cottage has been expanded and updated with central heating and air conditioning, dishwasher, TV, and Internet access. My mother, Elly, is the owner and my sisters, brother, and I manage the cottage for her.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Location, location, location.... We are literally across the street from the beach access path, (100 yds to the beach). Shopping, restaurants, entertainment, outdoor activities are within a 10 minute drive. Our beaches are clean and not over-crowded. Sea Breezes cottage has unique charm and comfort for individuals, couples, families, girls weekends, guys getaways, fishing and golf trips. Rent both sides for larger groups and open the unique sliding wall to have a large dining area.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This cottage is one of the original cottages built on the Outer Banks in the 1950's, but don't let that scare you away! The cottage has charm, is comfortable, and has been updated to have central heating and air conditioning as well as the basic amenities you would hope for, (dishwasher, TV, internet). Sea Breezes doesn't compete with the new construction, luxury beach homes in the area... but then they can't really compete with our place either.
