Vi har några veckor kvar till sommaren 2020! Observera att våra hus hyrs fre.-Fri.

Detta avskilda hem i Wellfleets Cape Cods National Seashore-område ligger på gångavstånd från Newcomb Hollow Ocean Beach (ingen väntar i kö för parkering på sommaren!) eller en 5 minuters promenad på privata sandvägar till en delad delad landning på Gull Pond (tvärs över dammen från den offentliga landningen).

Bottenvåningen sovrum (dubbelsäng) med skjutbara glasdörrar som öppnar mot ett privat däck. Full badrum nere med dusch och badkar. På övervåningen har en 1/2 bad och ytterligare två sovrum (en drottning, en dubbel). Utomhus hittar du en utomhusdusch, gasgrill och ytterligare två däck från vardagsrummet för ytterligare matalternativ, utsikt över skogen och massor av avskildhet.

Öppen planlösning (kök, matsal, vardagsrum) med dramatiska högt i tak och takfönster. Väggar är oavslutade röd cederträ som ger en varm glöd och atmosfär. Alla moderna apparater, flammande snabbt trådlöst internet, takfläktar i alla 3 sovrum och vardagsrum. Detta hem har varit ägt av vår familj sedan 1969 och har många personliga inslag, konstverk och charm.

Wellfleet centrum ligger cirka 3 km bort.

Loved being steps from the beach!

We had a great time staying at this unique house! The quick walk to Newcomb Hollow is so nice. Such a treat to walk past the long line of cars waiting to park. Easy to pop back to the house so our baby could nap. Our older daughter loved boogie boarding and the walk through the woods to get to the beach. We went to the pond a few times, but the mosquitos on the way were a little too swarmy. We loved learning about the unique history of the house, too. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Home!

We loved our stay, it was a perfect “pandemic getaway”. House was well appointed, very private and quiet retreat in the woods. 10 minute walk to beautiful beach, we even saw two whales playing off shore late one afternoon. Owner was so easy to work with and was extremely responsive to questions and provided helpful info. We definitely hope to return! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Our Favorite Place

We had four adults in the house and we were very comfortable. We shopped locally in Wellfleet and cooked the majority of our meals in the house; occasionally we picked up takeout or ate on the pier. The larger TV was a nice addition this year. We’ve rented here before and look forward to coming back next year!

Beach house in the woods

This is the 2nd year we stayed here. It is a well maintained property that is a short walk to our personal favorite beach Newcomb Hollow Beach. But it is also very secluded in the forest. The first morning I awoke to hearing the waves crashing and birds singing. Steve was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We had no issues in either of our stays and enjoyed our time.

Another Wonderful Week at this House in the Woods

This was our second time staying at the house, and once again we had a wonderful, relaxing time. Our favorite feature of the house is its location, tucked away on a dirt road in the woods. We love the ability to walk to the beach, to walk to the ponds, and to go biking/running/walking on the network of dirt roads. The house itself is very comfortable, with an ample dining room table and plenty of room to lounge. We had one rainy day and everyone was happy just hanging out in the house.

Even Better than Advertised

I was expecting a lovely small house nestled in the woods of the National Seashore. The spaciousness of the open plan kitchen dining & living area was a wonderful surprise. Such a comfortable place for us all to hang out! We had a jigsaw puzzle going on a large side table all week. That still left us full use of the coffee table and the large dining table. The ceiling fans and numerous floor fans combined with all the windows and sliding doors (good cross ventilation in all the rooms) saw us comfortably through an unusually hot week on the Cape. I hope to rent this house again, and have already recommended it to a friend!

Peaceful and relaxing...

We loved this house. Quiet and peaceful in the middle of the National Seashore woods. Quick walk to Newcomb Hollow beach, and a short ride to the center of Wellfleet. Loved all the big sliding glass doors to allow the breeze in and the many decks while listening to sounds of the ocean waves. We have rented on the Cape for many years and this is my favorite house of all.

Very Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. The walk to the beach is under 10 minutes. The area surrounding the house is quiet. The size for our family of 5 was perfect. We were a few minutes drive away from Wellfleet Center and other restaurants. I would go back again.

This house is owned by 2 brothers - we inherited this house from our parents. We have been coming here since 1969. We have many repeat renters and occasionally have weeks available on VRBO.

Varför värden valde detta boende

House has been remodeled twice and is very well maintained. It has all modern appliances and conveniences, is well appointed and furnished comfortably. The location is amazing, especially summer weekends when there is a line of cars waiting for a space at the beach parking lot. Our house is about 1/3 mile walk to beach or pond.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We rent by the week in the summer: Friday-to-Friday. Avoid Saturday "change-over day" traffic! It now has air conditioning units with separate controls for each bedroom and main living area. Recent work includes fresh interior paint in most areas, new track lighting in kitchen, new fridge and dryer.
