Great location

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Rob's home. It's very close to beach! Rob was very responsive, and he was great to work with. I would certainly stay here again.

Great House, Great Location

The house was as described, spacious, clean and well appointed. It's an easy short walk to the uncrowded Croatan beach, especially with the big wheel beach carts provided by the Host. We would definitively rent again.

Lots of Room for all of us

The property was in great shape and provided lots of room for all of us. The beds and bedrooms were huge and luxurious. It was an easy 2 block walk to the beach and the provided beach chairs, boogey boards and beach buggies were greatly appreciated!

Great summer house for 2 families.

We had a great stay. A well kept house with all the necessary amenities. Great location, just a short walk from the beach, on the better side of VB. The landlord was super nice. The 4 out of 5 stars because the price, rather pricy....

House was immaculate. Great location for beach and activities. We would definitely recommend this to others. Stairs could be hard for those that have issues with climbing or breathing. Great vacation.

Excellent house for beach

Very nice house all around. Short walk to beach, and also close to shops and restaurants. Neighborhood is well-kept and quiet. Rating is actually 4 1/2 stars, only complaint was one tire of the beach cart had to be pumped -up each day.

Fun and very clean home near the beach

We really enjoyed staying at this home. It was very clean, everything you needed for the kitchen, and plenty of towels for everyone. All the bedrooms were very nice and a television in each bedroom. Living room area was spacious and comfortable, House was very tastefully decorated. Robb was available 24/7 if you needed him. We were completely satisfied with our stay.

Location and privacy

Beach is only 100+ yards up the street with easy beach access. Because this is in a residential area, the beach was not crowded at all! It's only a few min drive to the boardwalk. House was awesome! Host provided beach towels, beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and has 2 carts with huge wheels. Rooms are nice and loved having 2 master suites. Definitely would stay there again.

Great Family Vacation House!

This is a beautiful home located just two short blocks from the beach. It was perfect for our extended family of 8. The house was very clean when we arrived. We really appreciated the already made beds and lots of towels! We cooked at home most nights and the kitchen had everything we needed plus a great pantry. Robb was a wonderful host who communicated all the info we needed and was readily avavailable to answer questions.

Beautiful, clean property with easy walk to beach

Nice location for this spacious house. Easy walk to beach. Residential neighborhood, no bar/restaurant noise. Plenty of both in VA Beach, 5 minutes north by car. Beach is quiet and wide. Great waves. House is clean and well kept up, nicely furnished. All the beach stuff you might need is supplied. You really only need to bring food and your clothes with you.

Excellent Place to Stay

My teachers and I enjoyed staying at your house. We arrived to a very clean and beautifully decorated place. We found it to be a very quiet neighborhood which was great for us since we spent the entire day at the convention center participating in a week long dance competition. It was very convenient to the convention center and restaurants. I will definitely keep you in mind again when we return in two years for the dance competition. Perfect Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect house for our family of 6 adults and one child. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and there was plenty of space in the living room, dining area, and kitchen for us to gather and relax together. Robb was incredibly helpful, friendly, and provided excellent communication about the property and the surrounding area. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. It was very well stocked with everything we needed for the beach, which made our planning and packing for spending the day on the beach much easier. The short, easy walk to the beach was a huge plus, and we loved that the beach itself was beautiful and not overcrowded. The neighborhood was lovely - just outside the touristy area but still close enough to enjoy the boardwalk, restaurants, and shops. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental experience. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Outstanding all around!

Beautiful home with very easy beach access even with small children. The beach was never crowded - exactly as advertised. Owner provides coffee, linens, towels, shampoo and other amenities that enhance the stay. Property very clean. We felt Covid safe. Only word of advice for parents with young children — the ocean is a rougher surf than we were used to. Our kids could not get in on their own without an adult present in the water with them. But water temp great and everyone had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay again. Owner extremely helpful and responsive to all questions we asked during stay!

Wonderful, worry-free week

We had a great time during our stay. The house was beautiful, looked just like the photos and was extremely clean and well appointed. The owners take good care of their property and were responsive to any questions or concerns. We did a lot of cooking while we were there and the kitchen was well equipped and all of the appliances were new and modern. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. It is an easy walk to the beach and the house comes with most of the things you might take for a fun day at the beach, so need to bring all of that from home. The beach itself is nice and wasn't at all crowded when we were there. And the home is located very close to several large attractions (aquarium, waterpark) and is an easy drive to the boardwalk and many restaurants. There are a lot of stairs in the house, so anyone with mobility issues might struggle if staying here. My family had a great vacation and would rent this property again.

Fantastic stay (again)!

We have stayed at this house several times now. It is a bit expensive compared to others, but it is worth it for us. It is in a great neghbourhood/close to a great beach. The layout with 2 masters fits our 3-generation family great. It is the only rental house so far where I dont have to give my son daily anti-allergy meds which we always had to do on vacation. It is the cleanest house I have ever rented (I do travel a lot). It is really that clean: this year in the abundance of caution I disinfected everything on arrival as we have high COVID-risk members in the family; I started with a white cloth and finished with a white cloth; honestly, I couldnt believe it! Also this year, everything was updated/renovated and new, including pillows and matress covers, as well as linens (at least it felt that way). The house has everything provided so I dont have to worry I will forget or need to run to the store to get toilet paper, shampoo, washing liquids, or else (even masks and disinfecting wipes were provided this year and came in very handy). This helps a great deal to relax while on vacation. Robb the owner is super responsive and takes great care of the house and of the guests. These are all the reason we keep coming back. Perfect family house and location!

Home and location are just as described in other reviews! ! It fit our family needs perfectly! Three master type bedrooms w private baths and one w twins for the grandkids. Loved the beautiful backyard w gorgeous grass for the kids to play and a outside table for sitting and sipping adult beverages while they play; area is shaded in early evening!! Bonus!! Outside shower w warm water was perfection after the beach. Kitchen was more than well appointed w cookware and utensils and high end appliances. Only comment would be a few extra dishwasher tabs and trash bags would be nice, cut it pretty close. A small spice collection would be a super bonus for foodies like us who cooked up a storm. Not necessary but would be greatly appreciated! House supplies include loads of beach and regular towels. House has it all! Location is amazing! A short walk thru a luxury neighborhood to an almost private beach is a rare find. All the beach gear was beyond helpful! Chairs, toys, boogie boards, umbrellas and wagons to haul it added to the fun and lessened expenses. Robb is super attentive and responsive to all needs. Would book this again in a second!!

More than 5 stars!

We loved the house and the location. It is much closer to the beach than appears on the map (looks like 3 blocks, but it is actually about 1). Short drive to shops etc. It is also about 1 minute drive to the Aquarium, which was excellent for the one rainy day we had. The house was exceptionally clean. Absolutely everything is provided, including toilet paper, shampoo/soap, coffee and filters (I have never seen anything like this)! Bathrooms and kitchen are new, very well appointed (but with the outside shower I never got to use mine, actually). There were two huge beach trolleys, about 12 beach chairs, surf boards, and a load of other stuff we didn't even have time to use. The neighborhood is very nice: small, secluded, very well taken care of; the beach is almost empty; the water and sand were great. If you are travelling with small kids (we had a 1 and 3 year old) stairs are an issue, so you might want to rent out 2 or 3 gates: 2 for the living room floor and one for upstairs. We will do this next time, but we also managed OK with moving around furniture. Robb is a very responsive landlord, it was great to know we are in good hands in case. We will come back again for sure.

Well-tended and comfortable with helpful owner

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, well-tended property. The owner is was conscientious and helpful. He was available by phone throughout our stay to assist with any questions. He even called on the morning of our departure to make sure that we had a good stay. Two families shared the house. One family was two adults and two school-aged children. The other was a family of two adults and three children. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house's layout provides a master bedroom and private bath on the top floor and a large bedroom with private bedroom on the first floor. In between, on the second floor, is a large kitchen and a spacious dining/eating area. This layout allowed for both privacy and communal space. The owner has taken care to attend to lots of details to make the stay comfortable. There's a surround sound system in the living room. The master bedroom has receiver and CD player. Every bedroom has it's own flat-screen television. The beautiful Croatan beach is accessible via a short walk through the neighborhood. The house includes a beach umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, and beach cart for transport. There were four boogie boards, which meant there were plenty to go around. The house is convenient to the boardwalk (a five-minute drive), and even closer to the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, Ocean Spray water park, and Motor World. My 7-year-old daughter wanted me to add that she liked how you could look through the bars in the stairwell and look down at the chandelier! Thanks, again for a great stay. Andrew

Fun in the Sun!

We had a great family vacation and this house and location were perfect for us. Between watching free movie night at the Cavalier, the beach, the water park, the fireworks - it was a fun filled week!

The perfect VRBO

I loved everything about this home. From the beginning Robb very easy to communicate with. The house itself was exactly as pictured, very clean, great appliances and cookware. Main living area was perfect size for our family group. Location can’t be beat!

Awesome, as always!

We have stayed here 4-5 times already and we love it, we keep coing back. This is a really nice house: close to the beach and a great quiet neighborhood, no pets and hypoallergenic everything (we need that!), convenient lay out with 2 master bedrooms, enough bathrooms for everybody, fully stocked kitchen, everything is provided like luxury shampoo (which I always forget). Rob is an amazing landlord: always responsive, whatever the issue, always on top of things. He installed the baby gates just because we asked about them. And we just used them years later, again. Also, all the beach gear is there, which is no small thing that you do not have to bring with you: 2 wheel carts, umbrellas, toys, and chairs. LInens and towels are also provided, in great numbers :) And the house also has an outside shower, which is great. Highy recommend!

Short 800 feet walk to toes in the sand. Semi-private beach next door to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. My favorite thing to do is to get up earlier and watch the sunrise in the morning with harding anybody in site. Seeing the Osprey dive for fist and watch the dolphins hunt for breakfast. I great way to start your day!
