Det har 4 separata gäst sviter som sov 20 totalt med egen ingång. Grunderna består av ett stort utekök och grillplats, ett stort däck skuggat med stora gamla ekträd och en privat pool. Längs flodfronten finns en floddocka med tillgång för tobing, kajakpaddling eller fiske och en vacker Gazebo perfekt för en romantisk flodbröllop vid forsarna. The Farm House: Den ursprungliga hemsidan byggdes 1948. Den har ett stort öppet vardagsrum / matsal / fullt utrustat kök med 2 sovrum med queen size-sängar och 2 badrum. 4 sovplatser.

Texas Room: En Texas-tema gästsvit med en queen size-säng, eget badrum och ett pentry. 2 sovplatser.

The Garden Room: En ljus och luftig gästsvit med 2 queen size-sängar, eget badrum och pentry. 4 sovplatser.

The Paris Room: En stor våningssäng hus typ svit med 4 queen size-sängar och en bäddsoffa, privat badrum, matplats och pentry. 10 sovplatser.

Family Time

Our stay was very enjoyable, Jeff showed us around upon arrival and didn't miss a thing. Outdoor kitchen was fantastic. The entire stay whether raining or sunshine was great.

Lovely home, beautiful outside area! Loved the outdoor kitchen and pool area!Golf cart was great to get down to the river… Because the weather was not perfect at all times, it was difficult getting from one room to the main room/kitchen since not all of the rooms connect through the house. we had a great time in Gruene! Thanks for a lovey stay!

Incredible!

Gruene River Guest House was incredible! The fire pit and umbrella tables by the pool were our favorite. The complete outdoor kitchen was a close second. And the interior was perfect. We actually walked down to the river the second day. We could not have expected or hoped for anything more.

Amazing property!

I stayed here one night to celebrate my birthday and wish I had stayed the whole weekend! This is an amazing property, the pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even more beautiful in person. The hosts were so nice and responsive, we will definitely be back!

Fun but short

Great property on the river! The only hang up I have is that for the cleaning fee that was charged through VRBO. There was a lot of cleaning that requested to be done from the people that rented it. If you're going to pay such an exuberant cleaning fee there should be nothing that you do as a guest. Just for future reference.

Family Time

Beautiful property. A very relaxing atmosphere. Amazing outdoor area, with grills, refrigerators, ice maker and a big screen TV. Had a great time watching the Texas Longhorns win their home opener. We will definitely be back!

One Cloudy Day

Loved our stay. The only problem we had was that the hot tub did not reach the set temperature. We planned the trip with friends to watch the solar eclipse. Even though we only saw clouds, we had a fun time at the rental where everything was provided and in the best condition.

Lynnae & Jeff Paules är värd

Transplanted Texans with deep roots. Jeff moved to Beaumont as a child and graduated in 1980 from Lamar University with a Chemical Engineering degree. Eventually working, living and moving between Houston and Dallas several times as well as Atlanta, Georgia. Jeff has 2 children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Lynnae moved to Beaumont in 1981 to start a family and has 4 children and 1 grandchild. Lynnae went on to graduate from Lamar University in 1992 with a degree in nursing. Jeff and Lynnae met in 2001 and started their journey together which has taken them to the far reaches of the globe. They enjoy traveling, skiing , rafting, and hiking. In 2018 they retired to New Braunfels and work full time making their guest's experiences enjoyable.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Whenever we traveled we have always preferred to stay at the "mom & pop" places vs the resorts and chain hotels. Each place had its own unique quality and we would enjoy meeting the owners and hearing their stories. Whether it was just the two of us or finding a place large enough to accommodate our large blended family we always enjoyed these places the most. When we would find something we really liked we would begin to dream about one day finding something similar and starting our own "mom & pop" place. Our dream came true when we came across The Gruene River Guest House in an internet search for an "inn for sale" in Texas. The Gruene River Guest House had what we were looking for, a beautiful property, close to family, large enough for family get togethers of our own, and near outdoor activities that could be enjoyed by all. All this right in the middle of a vibrant community that is 100% pure TEXAS!
