The house was great!! Everything we needed was available at the house. An extra touch that impressed me was the dog toys. We took our dog with us and he enjoyed the fenced in area and basket of toys!

We enjoyed the property. The house was a bit too big for just me and my wife but it is a large dog-friendly, lakehouse rental, which was the most important aspect. The house was clean though I think they should consider tossing the dining room carpet since it had clearly been urinated on by a past guest or their dog. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook a good meal and all the appliances worked fine. The shower in the master bathroom is wonderful. The pool table and shuffleboard tables were enjoyable though I'd suggest renters bring their own bridge since the table didn't come with one. The pool and hot tub were both clean and easy to access and gated. We really liked that the yard has an enclosed area for dogs, which our dogs loved because the grass was so soft. The back decks all provided such a nice view. We enjoyed our meals out there because the weather was perfect. The backyard is massive and very sloped, which is normal for this Lake. The fishing dock was good. There was a boat docked at the dock which was a little irritating and management couldn't resolve this. The downstairs living area can be accessed privately which was fine for us since we didn't need it. Check-in/Check-out was very smooth. Because this is a dog-friendly rental we probably will rent it again next year. Thanks Vrbo and Jackson Mountain Rentals.

Not Quite There

This is an older home with some updates. When we first walked in there was a musty smell and gnats. We found dried fruit in the sink and tried several things to get rid of the gnats. Only one burner on the cook top worked correctly. The spa and pool were dirty and the grass around the fire pit was knee high. We had to contact the property management a couple times about issues. There is no water pressure if one faucet is being used. We had to take one shower at a time. There are two bedrooms and two full baths upstairs and the remaining rooms are in a separate area under the house with an exterior access only. This house currently has bats in the chimney which we reported. The pool ONLY has one ladder in and out of the pool which a concern for small children. The temperature of the pool and spa were very warm and we were unable to get either to cool down. The grill was dirty when we arrived and we ran out of propane mid week. This is a beautiful property but it’s not quite ready for large family gatherings.

Great stay. Pool was warm and clean so was the hot tub. My family used every inch of the home and yard. The Lake area was great to, loved the slide off of the deck! Great Sun porch we all met there morning and evenings. I only have one complaint. It needed vacuumed bad. I don't think the cleaning people did a good job at all, My daughter and husbands bed the sheets had crumbs in them. They washed everything. Fruit loops all through the couchs and on the living room floor. BUT we cleaned and had a great stay. I was able to contact the host my whole stay by texting we had to contact them because all the garbage from the previous renters was in the car port cleaners forgot to take it. All in all It was located 35-40 minutes from all the great places. It even had a fenced in yard for my 2 pups to play. I would highly recommend if you have a large busy family.Great to for toddlers and pets.
