Gorgeous Location

Very nice property in a beautiful location. Easy access to nice beaches and restaurants. Lots of space for family sprawl.

Spectacular villa for large group

We cannot say enough great things about this villa. We were a group of 16 adults staying at the villa, plus another 14 with neighboring accommodations, who could gather easily at Top Cliff. The shared spaces are the true highlight, well furnished indoors and outdoors. We had a get together one evening totally on upstairs patio, another evening totally in the living/dining room area when cooler. Swimming pool is another good gathering place. And then there’s the easy path to cliff walk plus deck overlooking the sea. Having two separate kitchens (as well as two sides of the house) took some time to figure out, but we managed, plus an outdoor frig for drinks. Some bedrooms are of course better than others but all fine. Five of eight bedrooms have patios; in the end we mainly used our shared space anyway. Beds were firm, and bathrooms adequate (three of the eight bathrooms are in adjacent hallways). Our host Jana was delightful. Always helpful when we needed extra supplies or repairs. Yet they respected our privacy. I’m especially grateful to Jana for helping arrange my 70th birthday party with local restaurant. We passed on a couple of tips but nothing major. Another great thing about Top Cliff is location in the Algarve. It is a relatively short walk to the little village of Burgau that is still managing to retain its charm despite the influx, with bars, beach and restaurants, though hardly any fishing boats left.

Spacious, well appointed, and well located.

Party of 8 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at Top Cliff. Jana and Vitek kept us well informed from our check-in, to use of the house facilities, to activities and places to eat in the area. The house itself is a spacious villa, beautifully furnished, with magnificent vistas out to the ocean and to Burgau. The two kitchens were well supplied including a welcoming bottle of Port! The villa is also well located for walks along the cliff top to Luz or the charming town of Burgau.

Beautiful and airy villa with wonderful views! Close to charming Borgau.

Plenty of space for all 16, and very nice outdoor area. We enjoyed long beautiful nights on the terrace with moonlight on the ocean. The kitchen is nice and functional and with a large barbecue area. We also had a chef home one evening. Cheap and very successful! The beach at Burgau is beautiful and not overpopulated, and there are good restautrants.

Top Cliff Villa is close to a quiet, relaxed village for most of the year with a selection of restaurants and bars to while away the evenings. Praia de Burgau, located in the town of Burgau, is protected from the frequent north wind in this area of Algarve making it very pleasant for most of the people.
