A beautiful home lots of light wonderful etchings and the dinning room has windows all around with a lovely yard.we wished outside furniture and table were ready fir use as yard is wonderful. for us the long skinny driveway was challenging.A GREAT LOCATION AND A LOVELY HOME

Ferndale Retreat

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our trip to the Redwoods and everything in town was within walking distance. We're already planning our trip back!

Carlos is very welcoming and accommodating. The house fit the 3 of us perfectly. It included all the kitchen utensils needed to make our Thanksgiving holiday a warm event. We would rent again and hope to return!

Great place!

House is clean, quiet, with a big yard and a creek. Marilyn and Carlos were friendly hosts, and I loved their dog. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Quiet and comfortable

Very nice home away from home! Great place to have grandkids come visit, the loved the swing and slide. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.

Really enjoyed the location to walk into town. The home was very comfortable and quiet with a nice yard. It was also a great base to see a lot of the redwood parks and drive the scenic beach routes. The host was lovely. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Great for families with kids

We loved it there! Well designed house, amazing large backyard, very nice hosts. Carlos and Marylin were very welcoming and answered all our questions!

The house is great for all ages - convenient, comfortable, secluded yet close to town. But it is special for small children, lots of room to romp around outside, a playset, a little natural history experience too, and it has easy access to the redwoods, ocean and rivers. I am very glad these guests found us.

Great Location!

The property was beautiful with nature right in your backyard. Super quiet and a short walk to downtown. Plenty of space for family to stay and a quick jump off point for local sights to see. My stayed in Ferndale was to visit with my sister who lives locally.

Had a great time at the Francis St Home. Carlos and Chica made us feel right at home. Walking distance to downtown Ferndale. Would stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful.

What a peaceful and beautiful stay. Carlos was an amazing host and we enjoyed sitting one evening with him and his sweet dog, Chica. You can't go wrong choosing this place.

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely setting. House was perfect for us and our small cocker spaniel Loved the photos and art on the walls. Carlos was extremely helpful. We hope to stay again!

Always enjoy our stay in Ferndale

We have stayed at Carlos’s many times over the years. We enjoy kibitzing with Carlos, the cool weather, walking to the store, Centerville Beach, the VI, and the North Coast in general. Great Vaca.
