Historic Surfside Stunner - Deck, Pet Friendly

A perfect home for those traveling with pets, or Winter Texans looking for a south Texas home, this stunner comfortably sleeps 8 across four beautifully appointed bedrooms: two with king beds, one with a queen, and one with two twin beds. A queen air mattress is also available upon request. Each bedroom is equipped with its own TV and blackout curtains, ensuring restful nights after sunny days by the Gulf. Gather in the open living area for games or movie nights on the Smart TV, or step outside to the covered deck for grilling, lounging, and laughter under the stars. Since this home provides a queen air mattress upon request, the home can potentially host up to 10 guests.

Whether you're prepping a fresh seafood feast or brewing your morning coffee (with creamer and sweetener thoughtfully provided), the fully stocked kitchen has everything you need — including a dishwasher, microwave, island, griddle stovetop, oven with built-in air fryer, blender, Crockpot, and more.

Additional amenities include free WiFi, central A/C, ceiling fans, a washer and dryer with detergent, complimentary toiletries, and plenty of towels and linens. Beach towels are ready for your seaside adventures, and if you're bringing an RV or trailer, we've got hookups and ample parking on-site — plus space for up to six vehicles. Great house, great location!

The house was great for our group, plenty of room and so comfortable. Easy communication with hosts and a few unmentioned perks like board games for guest use and great written info on the area for easy reference. Well stocked kitchen too!

Sweet southern coastal, cozy home. Spacious enough for 7 adults and 1 4 year old. Enjoyed watching the ships come in and out of port. Close enough to beach to walk and there was a nice little splash pad that was enjoyed, too. Thanks for your hospitality.

Best Christmas vacation.

This is a lovely home. Comfortable and accommodating.We were all able to relax and enjoy our holiday vacation.Surfside is a great location. Close enough to necessary shopping and an easy drive to Galveston. Not to mention the local restaurants for great eating. Do not hesitate to book this home.

Family Weekend

Due to the weather (rain and mosquitoes), we did not get to enjoy the outside as much as we would have liked but the inside was nice and cozy. Plenty of room to visit and relax without feeling confined. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils/cookware including spices..

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived! The host was easy to communicate with from the moment we reached out to book. We found the kitchen to be stocked with everything we vould need and more! There was even coffee, sweetner and creamers provided. Which was so helpful becasue we had forgotten to grab coffee and creamer. We were comfortable in the beds and the living room had plenty of comfy seating for our family to enjoy some time together. There is a beautiful walking trail on the channel to enjoy your coffee overlooking the water. We were a short journey to the beach and Jetty for fishing. It was just what we needed for a wonderful vacation!

WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME HERE AT THIS BEAUTIFUL HOUSE ITS SO SPACIOUS THERE'S A LOT OF STUFF TO DO IN THE AREA THEY ARE PET FRIENDLY DID NOT HAVE A WELCOME BASKET OR ANYTHING SPECIAL FOR US WHEN WE ARRIVED THERE

Easy access, close to the waterfront, plenty of room to relax and visit with family. Needs a little bit of tender loving care i.e. shower head in bathroom between two rooms was loose and needs to be made more secure, water in bathtub was light brown...not sure why. Wifi was great and lots of choices for streaming. The great weather allowed us to access the outside more than when it was raining the last time we came. Loved seeing the large ships go by on the intercoastal water way.

What a great place!

Did a quick weekend trip with the family. Turned out to be a bit cold and rainy weekend but we didn't even notice with the great accommodations. Plenty of room to relax. Boardgames to play. TVs in each room to snuggle up and watch some streaming. Plus a great porch and backyard to just watch channel ship traffic. Fully equipped kitchen. Already trying to figure out when we can work in another trip here.

Great house with lots of amenities in a perfect spot! Would stay again.

The house was perfect for our beach getaway! I chose it for the size, location, and because it only has 2 steps on the porch (easier accessibility). We were surprised at the well stocked kitchen (spices, storage bags, plastic containers for leftovers, etc. - all unexpected extras). The master suite is especially fantastic with a spacious bathroom counter, walk in closet, and bedroom full of windows. There is even a reading chair and lamp! All bedrooms and the living room have their own AC unit, which is great for climate control. The owners reached out shortly after arrival and were available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay again.

Historical Cottage Charm

The beauty of this lovely home was magazine quality! The feeling of stepping back in time plus all of the modern amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. We all agreed that we could easily live there! The hospitality was top notch! There were extra touches that most rentals don't offer such as beautiful fresh flowers, loads of spices, some pantry foods, fun games, a variety of toiletries & the best welcome package ever- a platter of fresh baked cookies, brownies & a lovely hand written card by the owners complete with their contact information. Plus, they had a welcome binder with every possible piece of information one could need about the history of the home, the check in & out instructions, operation guides for electronics in the home, as well as lists of activities, attractions & restaurants! We are looking forward to making this our first choice when vacationing the area from now on. Thank you for the best rental experience one could hope for. We were truly blessed!

Wow! More than expected.

The house was booked for a quick, short, get-a-way with some hopes of doing a little fishing. We selected this location because it seemed too good to be true: the number of bedrooms, the number of bathrooms, the appearance from pictures, for the price. It was everything plus. The owners called the day of arrival and welcomed us and provided contact phone numbers as well as provided a welcome basket of goodies. We have stayed in many rental properties (several in Surfside) all over. and have never had one so well equipped. From the kitchen to the bathrooms, everything was there. Those who wanted to fish walked 1 minute to the park and fished from the shore. Planning ahead, we have already looked at dates for the fall because we are sure this gem gets booked quickly.

Nice quiet beach house. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the front porch. Loved watching the big boats come by and being so close to the historical site. Everything was clean; the kitchen had all of the essentials we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay!
