Detta mycket önskvärt egenbyggda hem ligger på Whiteface Club and Resort fastigheter i Lake Placid och är perfekt för en familjesemester. Vår vackra hem har full tillgång till sjön och ligger inom gångavstånd till stranden / vattnet, småbåtshamn och 3 restauranger, inklusive den vackra Lake Placid Lodge. Gå till vår 18-håls golfbana, sex lera domstol tenniscenter eller promenera ner till stranden komplett med kajaker, paddel styrelser, kanoter och segelbåtar, (segling lektioner erbjuds). Under vintern kan du njuta av längdskidåkning eller snöskor faciliteter på nordiskt centrum och direkt tillgång till den historiska jack kanin trail.

Vårt hem har två fullt utrustade kök, en på bottenvåningen och en på bottenvåningen. Tre vackra murverk sten eldstäder, en som ligger i en skärmad-in veranda utanför av huvuddäck av de viktigaste golvet, ger detta hem en mysig och härlig atmosfär under varje säsong. Det är smakfullt inredda med Adirondack möbler, av vilka några är handgjorda av lokala konstnärer och designers.

Vårt hem sitter högt och kommandon fantastisk utsikt över Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain och höga toppar. Byn Lake Placid är en 1 1/2 mil rida bort och ett bra ställe att njuta av antikviteter, butiker, restauranger, kaféer och en teater byggdes på 1800-talet.

Wedding weekend

The location was perfect for our daughter’s wedding which was at Whiteface Club. The view was lovely. Decor inside was beautiful. We would definitely recommend it and would come back again.

Dream Stay in Lake Placid

Our stay at Owl’s Nest was nothing short of exceptional. The home is impeccably maintained, beautifully Adirondack designed, and offers majestic views that make it truly special. The location is unbeatable—close to everything yet perfectly serene.Andrew and his wife went above and beyond to ensure everything was in perfect working order, making our stay completely seamless. Having previously owned a home in Lake Placid, I know the area well, and I was genuinely surprised by how incredible this property is. Amazing winter getaway!

This was the perfect house for our family ski trip. The pictures online just don’t do it justice! Beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and perfectly located. We had the best time and truly cannot wait to go back!

Comfort in the Daks

Very nice home with great Adirondacks vibe. Close to lake and town. Very comfortable and all is as advertised. The owners are pleasant and good communicators. Would book again.

Great Accommodations in ADK

My family of 6 + infant had a perfect mid-summer vacation. Camp Owl's Nest is a unique property that combines a rustic cabin experience with elegant accommodations.The included membership to the Whiteface Club & Resort is a super perk. We worked a lot into 4 days: golf, tennis, fly fishing, hiking, sightseeing and fine dining. Only complaint: interior lighting is too dim.

Super comfy spot in LP

Beautiful cabin type property minutes from town! What I think I loved the most about the property is the upstairs and downstairs can be basically separate, so if you have a younger audience they can do their own thing and come in and out of the home without disturbing who's upstairs. Loved it

Amazing!

We had the most amazing time. The place is huge and beautifully decorated with top of the line amenities. The outdoor screened in room with a large stone fireplace was my favorite. It was raining while we were there so it allowed us to be outside, but stay warm and cozy. I could go on an on about how top notch Owl's Nest is. Andrew, the owner, was so pleasant to speak with. I can't wait to go back again!

ADK luxury!

We had an incredible stay! The house is absolute perfection. We celebrated Christmas with our family here and loved having two kitchens and living spaces so that we had a place to gather when our baby was asleep in the master bedroom. The house is stunning- the pictures don’t do it justice. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. We were happily surprised by the 3 Christmas trees! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the fireplaces are beautiful, and the view of lake placid is awesome. It’s the perfect mountain mansion!

Everything as expected!!

We had a lovely stay at Camp Owl's nest. House was clean and well appointed. It handled our large crowd (10 adults) with no problems. Andrew was super accommodating. Views from the living room were lovely when it wasn't snowing. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to spend some time in Lake Placid with a large group. Thank you Andrew for sharing your lovely home with us!!!!

January family vacation

As an after the holidays get together for our family, every expectation was met. The house was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and very user friendly. All of the amenities were clear for our use. The staples that were provided helped us not use ours that we packed, but we replaced for the next lucky family to have as well. The child gates were greatly appreciated as our inquisitive grandchildren wanted to explore. It gave us an opportunity to keep them safe and on the same level with us when needed. Definitely a top notch home that is clearly loved by all! Absolutely gorgeous covered in snow, but we look forward to renting again in the fall to enjoy even more of what the area has to offer.

Excellent Stay for Family

Camp Owl's Nest worked nicely for our family time in Lake Placid. Having upstairs and downstairs bedrooms was very helpful for keeping a quiet space for young grandchildren. It was a pleasure to be so close to the lake in addition to our hiking outings.

Beautiful spacious Lake Placid retreat

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Camp Owl's Nest. Pros: Spacious, new/remodeled decor, fireplaces and outdoor spaces, quiet, access to beach and lake, great golfing and tennis, easy to get into town and parking lots for shuttle access (we were there for the Ironman.) The view of the lake is peaceful, and proximity to hiking trails was great, too. Cons: Propane tank was out so we replaced it. There is no a/c in the downstairs rooms, only fans. The fifth room with two double beds is actually an open loft space, just something to consider if you need privacy.
