Denna rymliga stuga ligger inbäddat mellan Lake Placid och Mirror Lake i den önskvärda Signal Hill delen av Lake Placid Village. Även om fastigheten är avskilt och privat, är det bara en kort 5 minuters promenad till Mirror Lake, Lake Placid, och alla Lake Placid butiker och restauranger. Det ligger också en kort bit från Whiteface Mountain Shuttle och en snabb bilresa till hundratals miles av vildmark spår perfekt för vandring, snöskor, etc.

Huset är smakfullt inredda och har en stor, välutrustat kök och matplats, en utomhus däck med picknick bord och grill, 3 eldstäder, en gigantisk bild fönster, flera TV-apparater, kung och drottning storlek sängar, en våningssäng rum för barnen, tvättstuga, och gratis Wi-Fi. Huset 10 sovplatser. Vi välkomnar barn och även erbjuda en bärbar spjälsäng för våra littlest gäster samt barnstolar / bältesstolar.

Den Retreat mellan sjöarna är perfekt för hösten, vintern och sommarsemester. Under hösten kan du förundras över skönheten i lövverket samtidigt på en härlig promenad runt närliggande Mirror Lake, under en av många närliggande vildmark vandringar, eller bara genom att stirra ut jätten bilden fönstret medan cozying upp i det stora rummet med något varmt att dricka. På vintern kan gästerna åka skidor Whiteface Mountain, skjuta ner rodelbana på frysta Mirror Lake, ta en hundspann rida, åka skridskor på Olympic Oval, eller utforska en rad vinter olympiska arenorna känd till staden. På sommaren kan gästerna stanna nära hemmet och njuta av den svala vindar på den stora utomhus däck och privata skäl eller ta en kort promenad och njuta av sommaren kul som erbjuds av antingen Mirror Lake eller Lake Placid Lake.

Fantastic Getaway

This property met all of our expectations!!! The photos were accurate as well as the deception of the property. The house was clean and roomy. We would definitely go back!!!!!

Great stay

Our group was two families with children ranging from ages 8-16 years old. The home was beautifully decorated with many Adirondack accents and plenty of seating and areas to relax. Having two family rooms and lots of dining space was a plus for our group. Although the decor was beautiful it didn’t feel like you might break something at every turn - some houses seem kind of fragile in that regard, which can be anxiety- producing when you have younger kids running around. The house was well-appointed with anything you might need in the kitchen and extra linens. Lots of puzzles, games, dvds, and books. The location was super - 20 minute drive to Whiteface and less than a 10-minute walk to town, although coming back is uphill! No complaints at all about our stay and the property. The only reason I gave four stars on the communication is because they don’t provide a phone number, only messaging through VRBO, which is ok, but a number is easier when something is time-sensitive. Thanks for an awesome stay!!!

Beautiful place

Beautiful and Perfect for our Daughter's Wedding

We stayed for my daughter's wedding. The house was perfect. The Great Room allowed us to have our hair and make-up people over with plenty of light and room for us all. We had everything we could possibly imagine. Lisa and Ted were great hosts. We couldn't have asked for a nicer stay.

Best location and has something for everyone.

This was our second time staying at this house and we have already booked the next time. It is perfect for our families’ ski weekend. It is very clean and organized. Everything you need is provided. It also has entertainment and space for all ages of our family. You also can’t beat the location. We love walking into town and such a quick drive to Whiteface. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location!

The location of this property was ideal for our group of 10 people. It's on a quiet dead-end street with a convenient turnaround driveway, walking distance to Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are. The house itself offers plenty of space and the game room was a great hangout area. The pictures of this property do not do it justice. It was more spacious than expected.

Great house!

The house location cannot be beat as well as how stocked the house is with games, kitchen supplies, towels, etc. The game room and hot tub were a hit with our kiddos. Communication with the host was amazing. Overall wonderful house. Two things that we noticed (one of which we admittedly didn’t notify the owner so that’s on us, was that the hot water ran out after a few back-to-back showers. It didn’t bother us too much as we experience this at home but if you have a large party who expect to all shower after a day of skiing for instance, you may experience a lack of hot water after 3 showers as we did). The other is the layout with the bedrooms and bathrooms, which is just an FYI for anybody who has preferences like we did (which we realize is a bit picky of us - ha!). There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on the first floor and two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second floor. However, there is no en suite and one of the bathrooms is far from the two upstairs bedrooms. We had three families and hoped to each have our own bathroom but the layout made it tricky with one bathroom far away from all bedrooms. Again, that’s our problem, not the owners or house but wanted to detail the layout since we weren’t clear on it from the description.

Rented for Xmas and New Year

We first rented this house about 10 years ago when we were a party of only 6 adults, this time we also had 4 grandchildren making a total party of 10 people. The house was absolutely perfect for the needs of the whole party plus we had a deer in the backyard one morning. We had one minor problem whilst there and emailed the owner to advise of the problem, we had a response less than a minute later and the workman arrived early the next morning, everything was sorted promptly and politely as the owner had promised it would be. Perfect house for a relaxing vacation.

Great property

The property is amazing. It's very cozy and clean and the extras of the game room and hot tub are excellent. For those who like to cook, the kitchen has just about everything you'll need, including two ovens. Just one note for those with larger parties coming to stay: the water heater is relatively small and can only handle two showers at a time before needing to recharge. Considering the property has three showers and can hold 10+ people, this could be an issue for some.

Fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful in every way! Thank you for a wonderful stay in a gorgeous house in a perfect location! Fantastic quick walk into town. The house had everything we could ask for! More than enough space for our 3 kids and 7 adults. Yard was fantastic for the kids to play with their balls and do chalk, very nice to be at the end of the street with no cars really coming down at all. Hot tub was awesome to relax in under the stars. Beds were super comfortable. It did get a little hot without AC but there were fans provided in every room so that was great and it cooled right down at night. We would definitely love to go back to this fantastic house. Owners were super responsive and helpful. Thank you!!!!

Beautiful home in great location

Beautiful home and walkable to everything in town. We had 3 couples staying to celebrate a 50th birthday and the setup was ideal. Everyone enjoyed the ping pong table and pool table and there’s plenty of room for board games and such. We had hoped to enjoy the hot tub more but it wasn’t working the first night and we were only staying for 2 nights. Communication with host was excellent and the property management company came out the next day to get it going, but still unfortunate that it wasn’t operable for half our stay. 90% of the kitchen outlets are also not functioning. Property management said they were aware and there should have been a note advising us to use the outlets inside a cabinet. Because there was no note, we ended up needing to bring the coffee maker and toaster into the living area to make breakfast. Not the end of the world but also not what you would expect for a rental in this price range. Otherwise, the home was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Overall a great experience.

HIGHLY recommend.

This house is the true home away from home. Everything you need at your fingertips. Decorated well. Super clean. Wonderful common areas with fireplaces or a wood stove. Plenty of beds. This is the perfect house for families or friends or multiple couples. Very convenient and walking distance to the village. We hope to be able to get back again soon.

Three generations in Lake Placid, NY

We just spent an enjoyable week in a very well situated home in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from restaurants and shops and a short drive to the grocery store. The size accommodated 6 adults and 2 teenagers with a very well appointed kitchen and comfortable great room. Games, books and videos filled bookcases and multiple TV’s were available. We all enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and dinners were served on the picnic table near it as well as in the spacious dining area. If I had a wish list it would be for a small breakfast table on the deck just off the kitchen. Would make a great spot to enjoy morning coffee. The laundry room was a convenient place to wash clothes after returning from swimming and hiking. No place is perfect but all in all we were well satisfied with our time spent here.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay, we came up to spectate IMLP and the location was perfect. The house was cool despite the weather being super hot outside. Fans in all rooms. Parking was great and the decor of the house was lovely. Hosts were responsive and we plan to return! thank you!
