Perfect family vacation

Little Bear Lodge was cozy and convenient. Appreciated the suite downstairs and proximity to many activities in the area for multiple ages. The kitchen was equipped with new appliances for food prep; island on the main floor conducive to group dinners. Lovely space!

Greatlocation

Wonderful property. It suited three couples perfectly as we all had our own floor/suite. Very well appointed with Adirondack decor. We would definitely rent it again. We hiked,biked and paddled and all were very accessible.

Perfect Getaway

This is our family’s second time staying in the beautiful “Bear House”. Beautifully detailed new home with great living space and very clean, all in a perfect location to Main Street. Owner / Manager is very responsive and wonderful to deal with. We love our stays in this house and would definitely book again.

Beautiful Home!

Couldn’t ask for anything better, house is clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, all the amenities imaginable, short walk to town, even though you’re on Main Street, you can’t hear any traffic noise inside the house, no complaints whatsoever, would definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

Weekend trip

We just got back from 4 days in Lake Placid for a wedding. Three couples shared this rental. Plenty of room for everyone and the location location location! Walked to coffee shop, restaurants and tons of shops. Walk around Mirror Lake 2.7 miles. Check in process and communication was a breeze.

Perfection

This home is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Beds were very comfortable and those incredibly large windows allowed for optimal views of the snow that fell every day. It was like living in a snow globe for 3 days! The owner was very responsive and very kind with answering questions and helping during the reservation process. Will definitely reserve this property again!!!

A new years family trip

My husband and I come to Lake Placid every year for New Years. We wanted to include my parents, siblings, and their kids so we booked little bear lodge. The house was spacious, clean, and conveniently located. We had a blast! The house’s rustic decor was charming and welcoming. Ray and Claire responded quickly to all inquiries and made the process easy for us. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Great for families !!

We were in Lake Placid for our daughter’s wedding. Our stay at Little Bear Lodge was exceptional! There were so many little amenities that made our stay so pleasant; extra towels in each of the 2 linen closets, extra blankets, sheets, pillows, everything we needed in the kitchen, TVs in almost every bedroom and lots of space to sit and relax. The location was within walking distance to every place that we needed to be! Many thanks to the owners for their quick response to any of our questions! Definitely would recommend to my friends! And we will be back!

Amazing location, but definitely not clean

Amazing location and beautiful home, but it just wasn't cleaned. Bedding was on the floor when arrived, and we were able to flag the property manager onsite to get the cleaning person back as we couldn't tell what was dirty or not. No garbage bags in the bin, no toilet paper in a bathroom, zippo and broken items found by baby, etc all discovered later.

Great location and accommodations for our family of 8 - loved the ability to spread out over 3 floors. Adirondack decor was immaculate, kitchen included all the necessary amenities and plenty of parking! It was a bit warm and the main split unit was not functional and the individual units experienced trouble for a few days. We had frequent contact with the owner and eventually fixed the individual units ourselves. A fully functional AC system would have made our review a 10/10.

Great Spring Skiing Weekend

This property was clean, well-appointed, and a great location! It fit our entire family well and was walking distance from coffee, restaurants, the Olympic ice arena, mirror lake, and downtown Lake Placid. We have a great time in a beautiful home.
