The property was clean, roomy and comfortable. It was well-appointed with sundries, supplies, utensils, and cooking and dining equipment.The area was lush, green and quiet (surpirslngly as the property borders Pe'e Road).Communications with the management team were timely, complete and understandable.We would book again if/when we return to Kauai.

Everything you need

We loved this well stocked property. The location was great - short walks to several beaches. We found it very comfortable for two couples, and appreciated the information about Kauai that was provided by the owner. This was a great location from which to explore both sides of the island on day trips. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Work & Play in Paradise

I and a colleague traveled to Kauai for a 3 day work trip. This clean well appointed cottage was just perfect for us! Each of us had their own en suite king size bedroom and the common living room / dining room / kitchen area area had everything we needed to cook, entertain ourselves after work, etc. The full size washer and dryer were great. The cottage was stocked with ample amounts of toiletries, cleaning supplies, washer soap, fabric softener, etc. Mahalo Nui Loa for making our stay super comfortable!

Just what we needed

The unit was perfect for our family of 4 including 2 adult kids, and great proximity to my sister and her family who rented an adjacent cottage. It was nice to have our own space but also room to share meals together. The kitchen was well equipped and we made almost all of our meals there. It was also very private and tucked away despite being close to the road.

Great stay near the water!

We walked to the restaurants at the Grand Hyatt and in nearby shopping center. Easy access to the beach where the turtles come out of the water to sleep. It was a great stay!

Great location and accommodations

We hade a great stay at this property. The rooms were quite big with a desk to work at. Mine was also a working vacation. The bed I stayed in was very comfortable and the other couple with us liked their bed as well. Having the two master suites was perfect for our couples stay. The location was amazing and a short walk to two beach options. Enjoyed relaxing in the pool and even visited the Gym. The only issue if it was even an issue was that the air conditioning in the bedroom was a little louder than I would like and the main room air conditioner was not very powerful. However, it didn't seem to be an issue. The kitchen was fully equipped and made cooking in very easy. Would stay again.

Kauai family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, easy directions, short walking distance to beach, restaurants close by, nice pool plus the athletic club, nice layout of the cottage. Did reach out to property manager regarding air filters in all air conditioners were all dirty. All the air conditioners looked like they had black mold. We do have pictures. Management said it was mildew still have a hard time accepting that it was mildew. Management was quick to respond and did have someone come out and clean all three of them. The air conditioner in the kitchen is rusted on the outside. All the air conditioners are very loud and it was very hard to sleep. Owners might want to consider upgrading to something else. One of the bathrooms was not cleaned, 2 light bulbs were out in the bathroom. There was cigarette butts in the drink holders of the beach chairs. Need a more sturdier umbrella to use at the beach and a couple of the beach chairs need to be replaced.

Wonderful Stay

Family Vacation

We loved our stay at Hale Ko Cottage. The location and the cottage were perfect! Mele, the manager of the cottage, was so kind, helpful and very responsive with her communication. Poipu Beach is about a 10" walk from the beautiful cottage. We would definitely stay there again!

Another Great Stay with Poipu 365

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Hale Ko Cottage location is perfect for enjoying the Poipu Beach area and the greenway walking path. Vicki and her Poipu 365 staff responded to all issues efficiently and in a timely manner. My wife and I are picky people and properties could always be cleaner and have more updated furniture in the living areas. The beds were comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. Hale Ko cottage is a great value and you definitely get a nice cottage for the money.

No surprises, exactly as described in the listing. Would be ideal for 2 couples. Everything you needed. Good TV and internet. Well equipped kitchen. Beds comfortable. Ideal location, easy to get anywhere. Beaches within walking distace. Would stay again.

Cottage offers comfort and privacy

The layout of the cottage is perfect, with a master suite on either side of the living, dining, and kitchen areas running the length of the house. This allows for privacy and staggered sleeping schedules. Vicki and team were easy to reach, gracious, and considerate; we’d be glad to rent from them again. Indoor and outdoor spaces are spacious, and we found all the small kitchen appliances we needed. We much appreciated the beach equipment, laundry area with soap, and many more thoughtful details in the construction and preparation of the house, such as sliding doors for more breeze and slanted window blinds for less breeze, and an ice-maker in the freezer. The walking distances noted in the listing are correct. We spent more time than expected in the house (due to rain) and felt comfortable throughout.

Poipu Getaway

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. It was super convenient being so close to Poipu Beach and the shops around the area. It was a perfect place to stay with friends because each couple had their own room and space, and the living room was a nice area to hang out. The one negative was that the place smelled pretty strongly like cigarette smoke when we arrived. The property management was responsive and dropped off some spray to get rid of the smell. It helped, but did not get rid of the lingering smoke smell completely. The property management was nice when responding, however, I received automated messages intermittently throughout the conversation. Not sure if it's just a problem with their system, but it was hard to tell if I was talking to an actual person when trying to resolve the problem.
