Nyligen ombyggd! Tyst gÀststuga pÄ 900 kvm / ft med egen ingÄng ligger bara 4 minuters promenad till Cedros Design District och en 6 till 8 minuters promenad till stranden eller jÀrnvÀgsstationen. FrÄn tÄgstationen kan du ta gratisbussen till Del Mar Racetrack under tÀvlingssÀsongen eller ta tÄget till Gamla stan och San Diego centrum. Det Àr ocksÄ bara en kort promenad till bondens marknad och dussintals restauranger och butiker.

Denna obeflÀckade bifogade stuga har brasilianska trÀgolv, takflÀktar i alla sovrum, ett komplett kök med bÀnkskivor i granit, nya apparater i rostfritt stÄl och diskmaskin. Har ocksÄ 2 stora LED-TV-apparater med digitala kanaler. Mysig kombination Mat- / vardagsrum med TV inkluderar Roku med ett Netflix-abonnemang och hundratals gratis streamingkanaler, samt ett arbetsutrymme med ett skrivbord. Nice getaway

Proximity to main area beach-Fletcher Cove and restaurants in Solana Beach was perfect for us. We enjoyed how quiet the unit was and the hosts were very friendly and communicated well with local recommendations. We could walk everywhere we needed.

It was very nice....clean, close to everything, had everything you would need to stay awhile. It was just not what I would call a cottage. But, with that said I would stay there again. Wonderful orange and grapefruit trees on the property. Wish I had tried one..

We loved our stay at the cottage! The check in process was very easy and we had everything we could have needed! The owners were amazing and sent us ideas of what to do and where to eat right away and their suggestions were awesome! We will be staying here again!

Peaceful getaway

Kirk H. The four of us have been coming to Solana Beach for many years. We’ve done hotels and rented condos – but nothing compares to this sweet setup. The main room (you first see on the site) is very workable for four to lounge, eat, play games or watch TV. The opposite facing wall is a nice kitchen with fine appliances and cabinets. And the very thoughtful hosts can guide you to lovely beaches, walks, eateries, shopping, and a small music venue nearby. Note that both beds are queen, but one of us is 6’3” and slept just fine. To wrap-up our fondness for this rental, we agree with every happy comment below - and those soon to be above. Safe travels.

Great location; friendly host

We were in the area to visit friends and for our son to attend a week-long surf camp and a skateboarding competition. We were only really home to sleep, and the location was perfect. Having a full kitchen helped us with making breakfast every morning and the occasional snack. Our hosts were thoughtful in sending daily information about events in the area. There is so much to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a weekend wedding stay

We needed a place close to Del Mar while attending a wedding at L'Auberge Del Mar. The cottage was comfortable and provided easy access to the communities along 101 as well as I-5. Host provided several tips on restaurants in the area and responded quickly to questions.

Cozy place in Solana beach

Not only was this place beautiful and clean but everything in walking distances. The host gave a great suggestions what to do in the area. With the bikes that came with the unit we were able to get anywhere! We had a nice time and would definitely come back!

Cozy space with comfy beds

Four of us (my sister, parents and I) stayed at this wonderful space while visiting friends who live nearby. The space is really wonderful -- two bedrooms (one with attached bathroom; other with bathroom off the living space) and a studio like kitchen/living/dining space. The beds were very comfortable (a major plus when traveling!) and the kitchen was well stocked for our needs (primarily breakfast and tea/coffee as we ate at our friends' house for other meals). Bed linens were really comfortable (again, not always the case when you travel) and the ceiling fans in all rooms were great for circulating air, along with opening windows to the smell of citrus trees. I used the outdoor sitting space to take some calls during the day. Our host was always attentive with messages about local places to eat and visit which was very much appreciated. The neighborhood is lovely and a 5-10 minute walk to several coffee shops and other walking/shopping/beach. We were all delighted with our time in Solana Beach.

Good small unit

This is a small, very clean little unit that would work well for families with one kid, or two smaller kids (ours were 3 and 6). There’s not much of a yard, so when our kids got antsy we needed to get them in the car and go somewhere. Luckily the beach, which is a lot calmer and less crowded than La Jolla, is two blocks away. Good coffee shops nearby, but we did not find them truly “walkable” with kids our age. Grocery store and pharmacy within a 5 min drive, no freeway required.

A Solana Beach gem!

What a wonderful place to stay! It was clean, warm, and the hosts were so welcoming. The best possible location for me and my girls. No more than a 30 minutes drive to all big attractions and a quick walk to wonderful restaurants as well as a lovely beach. I cannot say enough about the property. Best possible getaway!

Wonderful set up

We just loved this place. It was very central and cute and well-maintained. We came for a 3-day weekend with our 3-year-old and she did not want to leave. Nice and quiet and still very close to the main shopping area, restaurants, and the beach. Thank you so much to Martha and Kevin!

This is a nice little two bedroom 2 bath home walking distance to the design area. Proximate to beach. It's a great stay. Martha was a great host.

It ticked all the boxes!

We are a family of 3 with a nearly 2 year old daughter and this home worked perfectly for us! The space is clean and updated and was exactly what we were expecting given the pictures. The location is prime. We brought a wagon (I think they had one available to borrow too) and the trip to the beach and a beautiful park (Fletcher's Cove) was our only item on the itinerary each day. Solana Beach was a new destination for us and we were very pleased we chose it. Restaurants and markets are easily accessible which worked perfectly for us. The kitchen was fully equipped which made toddler meals simple too. The icing on the cake was the chance to do a load of laundry as stackable washer/dryer are inside the unit. We really appreciated all the conveniences and would highly recommend their place. Thanks for opening your home to us - our family had a very fun and memorable beach getaway!

Major restrictions

This place has MAJOR restrictions! Property is attached to the owners home and under their watchful eye. Expect threats of eviction and calling the police. We were scolded for playing music in the house (not too loud), having a mature couple over for dinner (only 4 bodies allowed in the place at any time), although I understand the no smoking rule, ecigs aren't allowed outside, we were scolded for playing Frisbee, being on the roof top deck after dark and having cocktails on the roof top deck. The restrictions are plentiful and a hindrance to having a good time. Also, ant infestation in the kitchen sink area. We were evicted after 26 hours and left scrambling to find alternative accommodations. Neighbors are obviously not in favor of renters and make a pleasant stay challenging.
