Den mycket eleganta 3-rums-lägenheten (60 m2) ligger i en 5-lägenhetsstuga i den soliga sluttningen och strax ovanför byn Grindelwald. Härifrån kan du njuta av en exklusiv panoramautsikt över det höga alpina bergslandskapet. Den direkta utsikten från vardagsrummet / matsalen till den närliggande Eiger North Face, Schreckhorn och Wetterhorn är unik. Också trevlig present till Männlichen, Lauberhorn och Kleine Scheidegg. Den perfekta utgångspunkten för lätt bekväma till mycket krävande bergsturer i omedelbar närhet, vare sig det är till fots, med tåg, cykel eller skidor eller snowboard. En busstation ligger framför huset på vintern (100 meter bort på sommaren).

Lägenheten är av hög kvalitet med massiv ekparkett, dekorativt trä och stenelement expanderat. På den rymliga balkongen 14m2 (med elektriska persienner) kan du njuta av soluppgången och solnedgången. Våtrummet har badkar och toalett. TV med satellitkanaler, internet med Wi-Fi finns tillgängligt. Den enda parkeringsplatsen finns precis framför huset, tvättstugan på bottenvåningen.

This home is absolutely stunning!

This home is spectacular!! It's close enough to walk into the busier Grindelwald area but far enough away so that you can enjoy peace and tranquility. I loved staying here. It was so perfect in every way.

Amazing stay in Grindelwald

We enjoyed a wonderful week stay at an amazing chalet apartment with spectacular views of Eiger and Grindelwald area. It was very comfortable and clean with modern appliances and decor. We loved the location on the bus route, being a bit removed from the crowds of Grindelwald center. We would definitely love to stay here in the future.

A lovely property with everything you need. The living space is large, and the outside deck has a spectacular view. The kitchen is well equipped with items available to prepare any type of meal. We found the apartment very clean and far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown to enjoy a quiet afternoon after a busy day.

Great location!

No complaints about the apartment! Very clean and great location. We struggled with the stove and oven as we are from the USA, but with a few YouTube videos we figured it out! We would definitely stay here again!

Swiss vacation

Excellent apartment location away from the crowds. Fully furnished with beautiful balcony view of Eiger. Absolutely stunning views of mountains. The hosts provide great amenities with fresh fruits on arrival. All kitchen items exceeded expectations. We are so grateful for enjoying a month at this lovely apartment. Hosts were very helpful to address any concerns or issues. Great bus service into town. Absolutely fantastic time.

Perfect in every way!

The location of this Vrbo is enough to want to stay there. My wife and I loved our day excursions to the whole region but this cute apt was just a fun to come back to each evening. The unit is very updated and has a perfect view of the mountains and of all of Grindelwald. You will not be disappointed at all!

Amazing space, stunning views

We stayed at Frank’s apartment for a week in late April and early May. It is just like the photos and the proximity to the Eiger, Monch, Wetterhorn, and Jungfrau is amazing. The views are spectacular. Just a short drive or 5 minute bus ride up the hill from Grindelwald. Beautiful space with everything you need including a full kitchen and spices. Very comfortable bed. We hope to be back, especially in sunnier/warmer weather!

Perfect apartment in a perfect surrounding

It was absolutely perfect. The apartment had everything we needed and was a very good place to come home to after a beautiful day in nature. It overlooked the valley and the mountains. Franz and Diane were also easy to reach and were very helpful. It was definitely an amazing stay.

Wonderful apartment with incredible views

We loved staying in this apartment. It is beautifully appointed with a well-equipped kitchen and everything you need for a pleasant stay. What isn't mentioned in the description is the incredible view of the Eiger and surrounding mountains from the balcony. Diane is responsive and ensured a successful stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay in a cozy mountain retreat, with an amazing view

Enjoyed a very nice, clean apartment, with a wonderfully stocked small kitchen - perfect for making meals - breakfast and dinner and enjoying them on the balcony with the serene views of the Eiger:) Nice choices of herbs as well as dishes and pans to be able to use the kitchen and enjoy. The owners were very detailed with information and responsive to our questions and needs. The local bus passes were a nice extra as well. Appreciated very much, and enjoyed the area very much.

Beautiful quiet location with spectacular views

We spent 12 days in this lovely apartment which is situated a few minutes drive from the town centre. Lovely quiet location with the best mountain views you could possibly imagine. We will miss our time sitting on the balcony for breakfast and our evening drinks. The apartment was extremely clean and warm with a very well equipped kitchen. Thank you Franz and Diane

We loved it!!!!!

the apartment is located in a beautiful district with a view of the Alps mountains, the apartment is equipped with everything you need , access to the washing machine so you can do the laundry everything is neat tidy and fragrant absolutely recommend!

Million dollar views

This apartment is well equipped and beautifully furnished with unbelievable views. The location is best for those with cars. The buses run every hour but stops early in the evening which means you have no way back home at night. The hike is uphill about 2 miles. It definitely takes some planning unless you love to hike everywhere. The distance from town does offer some peace away from the busy town.

Amazing Views

The property has wonderful amenities and a spectacular view. Every day we opened all the windows and door to enjoy the view from every angle of the living room, dining room and kitchen. We sat on the balcony and watched sunsets and stars. The bus stop is located just 4 minutes from the property. The one thing to mention is the apartment is on the third floor and you must go up stairs. Great location away from the busy downtown area, yet still very close, just a 10 minute bus ride. Quiet and peaceful location. Franz and Diane provided excellent check in and check out instructions with additional local resources. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute of this location.

Loved this beautiful apartment again this year!

We stayed this apartment last year and loved it, we came back this year and loved staying at this place again. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom has a good space and very clean. The living space is very spacious and neat. And the best part is the view! Spectacular! Sometimes we felt like we didn't need to go anywhere but stay in the apartment and enjoy the view of the Eiger, Wetterhorn and the alp. So beautiful!!! Franz and Diane ensured we had a pleasant stay in Grindelwald. Thank you. We'll come back again.

Spacious apartment in beautiful Grindelwald

We highly recommend a stay at this spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated apartment overlooking spectacular postcard views in the lovely town of Grindelwald. This apartment has everything you might want for your stay, including a well stocked kitchen should you wish to stay in and cook, which we often did after an active day touring the region. We also appreciated having access to Netflix and being able to curl up with a good movie at the end of the day. The hosts Diane and Franz answered all our questions promptly and thoroughly and were very welcoming upon our arrival. An added bonus was frequent encounters with a kindly neighbor, who gave advice and shared stories. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Switzerland adventures!

Fourth visit to this apartment- that speaks volumes!

We started coming to this flat back in 2010, and fell in love with it. The view is unbelievable, the town is charming and quaint, the apartment itself is totally updated with a stylish chic flair, and the owners, Franz and Diane are the most gracious of hosts, ensuring that the flat is live in ready with all of the amenities and information that you will need to enjoy your stay in gorgeous Switzerland. Thank you so much for this hidden gem, and may everyone looking for a little slice of perfection have the opportunity to stay at this flat in Grindelwald at least once in their lifetime! Three weeks in Grindelwald

Apartment very well located in the top of the village, there is a free bus system with a card provided, bus 121 passes every half hour near the rental chalet, this bus allows to reach the station (village center) and all means of transport to go up mountain (bus, trains, eggs cable car...) it is really very convenient. For me,the top of the village is more beautiful than the bottom.Downstairs there is a copp for shopping (open on sunday too) There are a lot of possibilities of steps in mountains.The landscape is fantastic, a very verdant valley and impressive mountains with glaciers and snowy tops. The apartment is beautiful, well decorated with printmaking art, practical with all the necessary equipment, large windows allow to have a superb view on the mountain (eiger) and to see the landscape change according to the weather. There is a key collection system without meeting the owners, it is not disturbing for us because the owners (very friendly) were always on the phone when we had questions about the apartment or the washing machine. We spent three fantastic weeks, I think we will be back in a few years. The only detail to review in my opinion: the rings of the shower curtains are ill-suited to the curtain and the curtain comes off too often. Christine

Amazing Location

From the moment we arrived we felt instantly welcomed. The property is extremely clean, organized and very spacious due to the overall design and layout. The beds are firm but comfortable. The view was one of the best in all of Grindelwald and you are awakened each morning to the view of the Eiger directly in front of you. The apartment has all the amenities one could need including a well stocked kitchen with utensils, dishes and glassware. We shopped at the local CoOp grocery store in Grindelwald and saved a considerable amount of money by making our own meals and picnic lunches for day excursions. We had a car which for us was a bonus since we could come and go whenever we pleased. There is a bus stop just minutes from the chalet (it stops running in the early evening) and the walk into town is straight downhill and takes about 30 minutes. (Coming back is a chore so if you're tired the bus is a good option) The wifi was very strong and we had no issues. There is laundry in the basement (no dryer) but plenty of racks and clothes lines. The laundry costs around 2 dollars U.S per load and there is a meter for the money in the wall (it takes Swiss coins). We did not plan our trips in advance since the weather can change day to day so we took it a day at a time and had no problems booking cable cars or gondola rides at the last minute. The train station is in the centre of town but you'd need to take the bus or taxi if you have luggage. Grindelwald is expensive (like most of Switzerland) so again having the kitchen was a great bonus for meals. The deck is amazing in the evening with a glass of wine or a coffee and the view can't be beat. Everything worked very well and there is satellite TV with a number of English news channels. This is a well maintained apartment and not for partying, the owners have taken great care to present a very safe, clean accommodation so if you are looking for a party place, please book elsewhere. We were 2 adults and one teenager and there was plenty of room due to the unique sliding wall between rooms for privacy. There is room for 4 overall Franz was very nice to deal with and worked with us to make sure our payments went thru (we had some problems with PayPal and wired out payments from Canada) There is no shortage of activities in the area and you don't have to travel far to have a good time. We have stayed all over Europe and this was by far the best property we have ever used. Steve from Canada

Un séjour plus que parfait à Grindelwald

La propriété est telle que représentée dans les photos. Tout est impeccable de propreté, très bien équipé et les hôtes étaient très faciles à joindre et avaient donné beaucoup d’information. Les voisins très gentils et nous ont même aidé avec la machine à laver situé dans un endroit commun au rez de chaussé. La cuisine est très bien équipée mais apportez des allumettes si vous êtes non fumeur pour utiliser l’ensemble à fondue. L’endroit est un peu passé le village alors très tranquille avec une vue paradisiaque. Je vous le conseille fortement. Merci aux hôtes.
