Location was perfect! The condo is very spacious. The water pressure was very low in the shower. Everything else was perfect! Loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

First off…this is our absolute favorite property in Destin. We have been coming to Destin at least once every year for the past 25 years and Mediterranea is such a wonderful, relaxing spot. Our host, Rebecca Henson deserves 5 stars by herself as she is ALWAYS attentive and engaged with any questions that may arise. The only negative to our last trip was that it came to an end, but it has just started the countdown to when we return! Thank you for a memorable wedding experience for my bride and me! Can’t wait to get back to paradise!

Great condo

Loved this condo. Very spacious and beautiful decor. Everything you need is there. Beds are comfy, even the pullout couch. Air cywill freeze you out and hot water is super hot. Pool or hot tub was not cleaned our entire stay and hot tub jets didn’t work despite being told they would be fixed. Not this property owners fault but I know they have fees that renters are charged and I would expect a little better up keeping of these things. Overall great vacation and hope to return next year

Last time staying in disappointing Mediterranea 408C VRBO not recommended

Our family has stayed the last 3 years here No improvements in old furniture old Wi-Fi setup etc Ample dish wear & utensils , fridge & freezer ok -Ice maker didn’t work. Did have new washer Needs more room rugs Cleaning crew did a very basic job -however skimpy on bathroom supplies Also no kitchen dishwasher one small dried up tiny packaged soap We Left what we brought for those supplies for next renter ` but does the cleaner tak it home for themselves? Booked for next year Paid damage & insurance But got a call a few days later from owner and said sorry owners booked it week we wanted next year- even your sight said it was available We had to call to cancel damage & rental insurance on our own No courtesy from management We found a much better managed place at the Mediterranea and cheaper!!

Home Away From Home

We have been staying at the Mediterranea for 14 years now every June for a family reunion. We also have our own property in the same area. This particular unit was beautiful, had a comfortable home away from home feel, and met our every need plus more. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in the area. If you want to avoid crowded beaches, but still have everything at your fingertips, this is the place to stay. It’s perfect for adults, families, and even families with teens. We will never stay anywhere else!

Beautifully appointed condo. 2 minute walk to private beach.

Beautiful, clean condominium. Updated kitchen and laundry appliances. Spectacular beach views from every bedroom. 2 minute walk to private beach. Particularly enjoyed having a beach umbrella and chairs set up for us every morning. Highly recommend this condominium!

Unit C408 Review

This is the 2nd time we have rented this unit. We love the location and the unit is nice. There were a few things that were different from our 1st visit. The A/C in the back bedroom next to laundry didn’t seem to cool; my daughter and her husband stayed warm the entire stay. The mattresses seemed to have changed, which is certainly a personal choice, but they were so hard. The dryer had wet towels left in it. The TV in the master room never worked. The ice machine in the refrigerator stopped working after the second day; we did everything we knew to do. I did like the bedding in the master, much nicer for the beach! And as much as I hate to bring up, there were long black hairs in so many places. But we had a wonderful time regardless of these issues, but may look for something else next year even though we were hoping to find a place to rent year after year. Thank you very much!

Not bad

Beautiful unit with a great view. Quiet area with a private beach so it wasn’t crowded. The original listing price was incorrect and we ended up paying more which was annoying. There were quite a bit of simple maintenance things that needed attending to such as burnt out light bulbs, the blinds were falling off in the main room, one of the cable boxes was broken and wouldn’t work, the washer smelled strongly of mildew and needs a good cleaning, and the floors were filthy. Your feet would be black just from walking on the floor after a shower. The guest bedroom was very warm so we ended up buying a second fan to put in there that we left, as well as some extra wash cloths. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and would stay again. Thank you very much!

We love Destin. Mediterranea is our favorite place to stay and we loved this unit.

Rental process went very smoothly thanks to Rebecca being available and so helpful explaining fees and cancellation policy. She is fantastic.
