River's Edge är en perfekt bergsresa med stora familjesamlingsområden både inifrån och ut. Sitt med klar utsikt över floden medan du bara lyssnar på dess ljud när den försiktigt rullar vid bakdäck. Se älgar när de betar pilen i flodkanten längs Colorado River Valley ovanför Grand Lake. Gå några steg från stugan och prova dina fiskefärdigheter på en halv mil lång semi-privat vatten. Vår stuga har alla moderna bekvämligheter, nya möbler och apparater. River's Edge ligger inbäddat över en tunnland mark för att säkerställa privat lugn åtnjutande av det majestätiska berget och utsikt över floden, där allt som hörs är flodens buldring. Beläget i ett privat samhälle med semi-privat fiske tillgång ut genom bakdörren och fiske och fiske / båtliv tillgång till Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake och Lake Granby. Snöskoter tillgång 1/2 mil bort. Vandra den privata floden tillträde från vår 1. 24 tunnland mycket eller sitta och titta på älgen och storviltet som följer floden eller picknicken vid stranden av en av sjöarna. Vi ligger bara fem minuter till staden Grand Lake eller Rocky Mountain National Park. Älg, älg, rådjur och räv ofta vår frodiga egendom. Detta är en vacker stuga i de höga tallarna.

Wonderful Home for a family stay!

We reserved the home for family to stay in for our wedding and it was wonderful! A very beautiful, clean home with beautiful views of the river. The owner was very easy to communicate and work with and both check in and check out processes were clearly explained and simple! Would definitely stay again! Fourth of July Vacation

Beautiful property! We had plenty of space for a larger group. Being right on the river was so neat. We loved the kitchen setup and it provided all the appliances and supplies needed to cook meals. Quiet neighborhood. We walked through the neighborhood and enjoyed the scenery. Would stay again.

Great Stay! Very comfortable for a larger group

We had a group of 7 friends from different parts of the US in September. The house was excellent. Good kitchen for cooking and comfortable beds. Short drive to Grand Lake and RMNP. Having the Colorado River right out the back of the house was the best part. Beautiful sunsets, water sounds, and wildlife each day. We had happy hour on the water each night!

Great stay!

Awesome house right on the Colorado River. Can’t beat sitting on the back patio listening to the river and seeing wildlife. Saw moose, elk, and deer while we stayed. Host is super responsive. Our stay couldn’t have been better. Hesitate recommending, as it’s a hidden gem!

Incredible!

We had such a wonderful time at this property. The house was spotless, the beds were so comfortable and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. Plus a mother moose and her young baby made daily visits. We would stay here again and again

Tranquil Setting

This was a beautiful, well maintained property in an amazing setting. Our family had plenty of space to gather together Orr have privacy when needed. The patio has a beautiful view of the river and we saw the neighborhood moose several times a day. We loved it!

Family Getaway

Beautiful cabin with all the amenities you need. Very easy online booking, lots of messages from the owner and even a phone call. Would of given a complete overall 5 star but needed light bulbs throughout the house.

Another wonderful stay near Grand Lake

Second time staying at this riverfront masterpiece with my family. Well appointed, clean, spacious, right on the river! My family loved the total relaxation near the river, with the BBQ, lots of seating, hammock, and fishable river! We saw a mama moose and her baby come visit the property twice during our stay. We gave them a wide berth and took lots of pics from the second floor balcony. The lakes (Granby, Shadowmountain, and Grand) are great for swimming, kayaking, fishing, etc., and Rocky Mountain National Park's western entrance is only minutes away. We plan to keep coming back to this gem!

A week of family in a beautiful home

Kathy was a fabulous host. Her communication was thorough, timely, and kind. This mountain home is absolutely breathtaking. The location on the river is perfect for relaxing, fly fishing, and watching sunsets. The home is filled with everything you need for a family. The kitchen is very well stocked, and everything is labeled for ease of use. The beds are comfortable and everything was immaculately cleaned. The large table is great for family meals and the large windows were great for looking at the amazing views! Our family can't wait to return! Thank you Kathy for such an amazing week in your lovely home.

Owner is very nice and easy to deal with.

6 members of our familly stayed at this house for a short vacation in early June 2024. The house was very well supplied, even had paper towels, coffee, a large variety of spices and comfortable beds. It is close enough to the national park that it is very easy to make it long before the timed entry begins at 9am. The river is right behind the house just as shown in the promotional photos. This property is exactly as described. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful house on the river

We had a great stay here! The house is comfortable and lovely - more than enough room for six of us - and in a wonderful location. Kathy was very responsive and helpful. We’d happily stay here again. Lots of wildlife! Give the gorgeous moose mama and her calf wide berth. :)

Great Vacation Accommodation

Nine of us overall (including 3 children) stayed the first week of June 2023. The house is very nice, clean and accommodating for a large group. Host was very informative and everything posted about the house was accurate. Located right on the river. We saw three moose including one practically on the front porch! The Grand Lake area is beautiful. Everyone in our group agreed that we would want to return and stay at this cabin again.

Love Grand Lake

This was our 8th year vacationing in Grand Lake. Each year we use VRBO to find the perfect spot. Like years in the past we were not disappointed. This house is perfect! Not an ounce of wasted space in the house. It was very well equipped with all the luxuries of home. The river was only steps away from the patio! We were entertained by humming birds, chipmunks, deer and moose. Perfect for those folks that love nature and want to just relax. This will be out first chose for next summers vacation!

River front cabin

This was such a beautiful location we loved it.The house is so homey and well stocked, everything worked great, beds were comfortable, internet is great. We loved the river so much we almost didn't go anywhere. The town of Grand Lake is so close and has so many fun things to do and see. There are great hiking trails not far from the location so many to choose from. We did see trout but could not catch any the water was a little low at the time we were there early July. We did not mind because it was perfect for the grandkids youngest being 2yr. We even got the kids tubing a small stretch of the river since it was not raging. We did not see a lot of wildlife a big bull moose in the distance the first day and a few deer. There is a momma moose with baby in the area but there was some construction across the road and I think she was keeping away. That being said the morning we were leaving we were making coffee and low and behold her and the baby appeared out of know where right in the driveway in front of us. We couldn't believe the timing she looked right at us and we spoke to her she was only 10ft from the front door. So special. Kathy is so helpful and invested, we had an amazing time and will definitely try and go back again. Thank you

Quiet neighborhood, awesome location!

This cabin was a great location! We were a group of 8 and the property was well equipped for that group size. We spent the majority of the time enjoying the back patio and hanging out by the river out back. We saw moose, elk, chipmunks, and deer from the patio. We loved the hummingbirds as well! Kathy was extremely helpful and had very prompt responses before, during, and after our stay. We highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a quiet neighborhood.

My husband and I purchased this property as a vacation home for our family of 3 grown children, and 9 grandchildren.
Like most folks, we just wanted peace and happiness for our family and friends. We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase this home where we have made many memories when family gathers for holidays, or just to unwind for a few days. I am now widowed but still love to share our special place with guests.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We chose Grand Lake for several reasons. If you go into the village, you won't see fast food chain restaurants or neon lights. That said, you can get a gourmet meal if you choose to do so.

We enjoy boating and fishing on the 3 nearby lakes, reservoir and several rivers.

On the flip side, there are countless outdoor activities year around. Also, within an easy 30 minute drive is the world renounced ski resort of Winter Park. Within 20 minutes is the smaller more intimate resort of Sol Vista.

To sum it up, Grand Lake has it all without the hustle and bustle of most resort areas.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

When we pulled up to view this home, the first thing we noticed was the sound of gently flowing water. The house itself was immaculate to the point that we thought it was new construction. For us, it was a no brainier. In the Summer, we open the windows and go to sleep to the sounds of the river. It also doesn't hurt to go out the back door and go fishing.
